Nessaj 04-15-07, 01:37 PM	I'm creating a 1st level Psiforged. I'm going to play the "soul-searching" route; looking for a purpose to existence; yea, probably very overplayed for Warforged, but it's my 1st one, so I get at least one :rolleyes: What kind of names do Warforged have? I'm new to Eberron, so bear with me. I'm thinking my Warforged will have a female personality, and is slightly elitist; the other warforged she comes across seem brutish and unrefined, with their bulky fists and clunky armor. "She's" slimmer than the standard worforged, Jet black body with a constant blue glow coming from underneath her plating. Her limbs are elognated, her leg joints bend in the opposite direction, and she's insanely curious about both organic creatures AND warforged. Gestault Soulknife/Psion (Shaper), going into Elocator on the Psion side so she can hover, giving her even more of a superiority complex vs. her lesser kin. Not to mention the Astral Construct and Repair Construct power. Mmm...Repair Construct. Are there any areas or organizations that create psiforged for specific purposes?

TheAnthroDM 04-16-07, 01:53 AM	Genrally a Warforged in named after a purpose that it serves to my knowledge or human names. So here's some names. From my campaigns: Watcher Sage Breaker Maker From Marked for Death. Xalt Superior(though this seems more to be a position) Bastard(as in Bastard Sword a high ranking Warforged in the Lord of Blade's Army is named this.) Suggested Psiforged Names: Curiocity Knowledge Psion Mind Crystal ect.
TheAnthroDM 04-16-07, 01:54 AM	Are there any areas or organizations that create psiforged for specific purposes? It's my understanding noone is quite sure where the Psiforged come from, and that House Cannith denies any involvement, though I could be mistaken.

I won't say anything bad about FR- that's what got me into D&D to begin with.:) As for who creates warforged/psiforged, House Cannith are the only ones capable of using the creation forges, although making new 'forged is apparently illegal (although it is implied that Merrix d'Cannith is continuing to make new warforged secretly). I have to say I am impressed with your idea of a "chicken walker" warforged.

Thank you :P I was trying to come up with something to give it a feminine flair without...well...Cans, and this combined with a sleeker image seemed to fit. As for names, Corundum, Cognizant, and Mercuria are my favorites so far. All stolen from that thread (well...I adapted Mercuria slightly), but all good ideas I feel.

Nessaj 04-16-07, 09:59 AM	Thanks; when I first came up with the idea, it was going to be a standard-looking blue warforged named Megaman but I decided I could be a bit more creative than that :P Mercuria's psionic powers give her an advanced appearance; she's a "next-gen" model. Her Astral Constructs manifest thusly; she spends a round exuding a translucent glowing blue slime from her plating, then steps sideways, leaving a double of herself standing where she was. Her Force Screen is a transparent force field, and (when she gets the power) her Energy Bolt will turn her forearm into a cannon barrel :D Her mind blade consists of crackling psionic energy she manifests around her hands. I like custom descriptions; adds flair. :cool: I'll post her stat and power breakdown if anyone's curious.

I'm currently playing an asexual Warforged who was created recently by Merrix, whose cohort is going to be a female Psiforged Scout Telepath (that's the Scout subrace, not the Scout class) created by the Lord of Blades (who left the Lord's army after her unit was massacred).

I thought he couldn't activate it at all.
CrimsonDeath 04-17-07, 04:14 PM	EBCS says he hasn't mastered the process, but he can create them slowly in small numbers. (Although, I recently realized that my character is actually old enough to have been created before the Treaty of Thronehold, so I'll take it in that direction rather than having it be illegally created.)
