sleepydeath 11-19-05, 04:18 PM	I played alot of DND adventures and had thousands of different chars. Now I am out of ideas and need help for my char story. I want to play a lawful good psionic monk (monk 5/fist of zuoken 4 maybe with VOP) in a lvl 9 campaign and I need some good ideas for an interesting char story. dnd community, plz pimp my char story ;P
Harrow Blade 11-23-05, 02:05 AM	For a start a little information would help, Psionic monk with a vop is a start but what about race, gender, prefered starting region, starting world etc. then think about the things that they might have done or want ot do that lead them into the life they have now. there is a link to a character background questionaire that may help you get a handle on your char. hope this starts to help

Just brainstorming here. But a monk with ninjas could be a good combinaison. Specialise him in martial arts or something.
Morka 11-23-05, 10:26 AM	What is the general feeling about psionic in your campaign world? Are they popular, feared, hunted down like sorceress in Salem, or just ok? And same question, but about monks... I don't know what or who is Zuoken. Is it a hugely known organisation, a secret organisation, or something completely lost? You could work with your DM to have a monk with strange powers searching more informations about those powers, and finally finding in some archaïc tome something about Zuoken... Finally, check the few links in my sig, it should help you, especially the "Background in 100 questions"...
