I have started playing a bard and these are his stats:

The Golden Hound (NG male sun half-elf Brd1)
Str 14 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 16 Wis 11 Cha 18
Appearance: Charismatic, though not very tall (5'7''), slender, blue-eyed half-elf with long gold hair cascading down his back; He favors clothes in all the shades of blue and purple
Role-playing concept: Resourceful, kind-hearted, modest in manners (but not in appearance), self-confident
Favored weapon: longsword; Favored instrument: flute
Favored armor: chainmail; Favored hobby: composing and flirting :D
Feats: Trustworthy (+2 bonus on all Diplomacy and Gather Information checks)
Skills: Bluff +2, Diplomacy +3, Gather Information +2, Hide +2, Knowledge (Cormyr nobility and royalty) +1, Listen +2, Move Silently +2, Perform (dance, flute, lute, singing) +4, Ride +1, Sense Motive +2, Spellcraft +2, Spot +1, Use Magic Device +2
Spells: 0) detect magic, ghost sound, mage hand, prestidigitation

His real name is Lorancell Winterstar. Born as the third son to one of the minor noble families of Cormyr, Lory (as his brothers used to call him) has shown his talents in poetry and music since his earliest childhood. Upon reaching the age of 24, he decided to join the army. He never talks about the reasons that lie behind this decision. There are those who say that he followed his inner sense of duty - during these hard times, there is a great need for heroes and defenders of the country. Others say that the Golden Hound (a pseudonym given to him by his peers and courtiers) just wanted to create an opportunity to run away from enraged nobles whose wives has shown a particular affinity for Lory's charms.

I'm planning to add a few levels of the Purple Dragon Knight PrC. What do you think about it? I'm interested in all your ideas and advice concerning this PC's development

As you see, it is a carefully created PC :D There are probably tones of opportunities for great roleplaying and roll playing as well!

Interesting concept :)

You would easily qualify for Prp at 6th level, attaining a good cohort and followers du to your high charisma. It is difficult to see exactly how this character will develop. Sometimes things doesn't go exactly as you wish in the campaign. But this character would become a great leader on the battlefield, known for his encouraging songs that boosts morale among his soldiers. He could also be a valuable asset off the battlefield collecting rumors and info around the area where a battle will ensue. Maybe he will serve as a loyal spy for Cormyr in peaceful times?

Thx, Androminuos. The idea of the loyal spy for Cormyr is very interesting! I shall think about it, as Lory is surely a good candidate for a spy knight. The whole concept behind this thread is not only to shape Golden Hound's future, but rather to give me some ideas concerning further development of his background. :) Personally, I like the PCs that are ALSO (:D) creative in other things than killing and attaining wealth. Thx 4 yr 2 cents!

I have an idea. You, guys - fellow role-players might as well co-create the whole background for the Golden Hound. Everything - from the short stories from the PAST to the stats of more important relatives or friends - everything welcomed! :D

OK, maybe I want to increase the "longevity" of this thread. But I'm sooooooo into this campaign!! Playing the bard sometimes really rocks, I think!
