05-14-05, 06:43 AM hi,
i am searching for a race for my paladin of slaughter/tyranny (unearthed arcana). it should be avaiable in faerun and best would be a strong fiendish touch. LA is no problem as long as it is < 4.
the charakter will be some cruel leader so i want to emphasize this attitude with the chosen race.
thought about fey'ri or half-fiend.
any other ideas?

05-15-05, 11:08 AM If your going to be cruel, you sound more like a Paladin of Slaughter than of Tyranny. But actually, it's more of a function of how you expect your followers to act. If you're cruel to them in order to get them in line, then maybe Tyranny. If you encourage them to be a ramaging horde, definately Slaughter.

In either case, something with High Charisma is a good idea, for intimidation, leadership, and your Paladin abilities.

If Tyranny: Half-Celestial Star Elf. Yes. Really. Run with it.

If Slaughter: Drow, with any +2 template that boosts Cha.

Personally, LE is my favorite Evil Alignment.
