11-29-05, 09:37 AM I have a human fighter1/ranger2 (I started fighter and quickly realized that ranger more suited my needs) who is looking for some focus.

Quick background: Son of a Guard Captain, trained by dwarven blacksmith/weapons master, hunted by a Ogre Ranger, wants to fight Tyranny in all its forms, found a bond with nature.

Fighter: WF: Greatsword, Dodge, Mobility
Ranger: Melee, Improved Init

I was originally going to go Nightsong Enforcer, but after further review I find that it does not match my background. I am looking to find a PrC that full fills my "tyrannical fighter" necessity. I am not looking to be optimized I am looking for a good RP character that can back up his attitude.

Whilst I have been sitting here typing this I though about the Justicar from the Cleric book, thoughts on that. ANy other suggestions.

I have a flexible DM who would be willing to let me change feats if necessary, but I need a good reason.

HELP, please.

11-29-05, 10:21 AM Holy Liberator (CG, Complete Divine)
Knight Protector (LG or LN, Complete Warrior)
Purple Dragon Knight (LG, LN, NG, N, Complete Warrior)
Beloved of Valarian ("Female Unicorn Rider", Any Good, Book of Exalted Deeds)
Divine Crusader (Any alignment, Complete Divine, Templar of a specific god - in your case, should be a tyran-hunter god)
Harper Agent (Any good or neutral, member of an underground organisation fighting tyrans, Player Guide to Faerun)
Harper Paragon (Any good, same as above but fight evil, Player Guide to Faerun)

11-30-05, 03:11 PM i would second the holy liberator vote as i think it would feel like what you want. Also a good consideration if it is allow is palodin of freedom, the immunity to mind influencing is the main thing that makes dm's say no. but it does fit what you want, it is from Unearther Arcana.

Holy liberator will be awesome, I must not have read it close enough the first time through. Ranger/Holy Lib will give me the exact background i need.

On a side note, I found a nice exalted feat for those with favored enemy that will fit right in with this character.

Thanks for the advice.
