Judging by "Freya" and "Valkyrie", I'm going to guess that this is the Nordic goddess of love and magic, wife of Odur. Since she doesn't deal especially heavily in nature, it would make sense that something in the character (who I'm going to assume is male, just for the sake of using different pronouns for the char and the deity) caught Freya's attention. Is the character especially enthusiastic or determined? Does he possess (or is he possessed by) unusual beauty? Has he developed an interest in his magic or the magic of others, either arcane or divine? Is he at least within one step of Neutral Good?

As I've read, clerics of Freya tend to emphasize her warrior aspect, so a longsword (her weapon of choice) would be a logical gift to a new cleric of Freya. While it's not the most lucid gift for a ranger who likes archery, it would be a sign of pride and honor for the character to carry his deity's weapon into battle.

All told, "was a ranger, is now a cleric" is awfully vague.

Okay sorry for being vague i was in a hurry. Okay, I have no background but I do have an apperance. Im 5'9'' have a scar on his left arm. Black Hair which is unusual for an elf. I am a Ranger and a Cleric. My question is that my party has no idea why an Ranger like me would take up to a Cleric. Freya has told me not to anyone of the reason. I also need help on my background for my scar, and black hair. I was thinking that my Fathers' Mother was a Half Elf with black hair, and got it from there but that is too dull and boring. I also need a general background for myself. Im not very creative :weep: but I am a good roleplayer. My character is determined, courages, womanizer lol its true though.... and handsome, and has royal blood withen him... so IDK i need a good background story. ideas would be greatly apperciated.

A womanizer has likely at some point overstepped the bounds of reason and comfort and approached somebody who doesn't want to be approached. It's entirely possible that at some point the character either hit on a dangerous woman who really, really doesn't want the attention (perhaps an assassin who just finished a job, is trying to sneak away quietly, and is suddenly the target of loud pick-ups lines) or got into a lady-based fight ("Dude, check her out. I'm gonna go talk to her." "No, she's mine!" "Says you!" Such is the wisdom of men.).

If you're a good roleplayer who just has trouble with backgrounds, I suggest the Hero Builder's Guidebook or some similar tool which randomly generates seeds or facets of the character's upbringing. Some people really don't care (or, in your case, know) whether their char grew up in a thorp or in a town or in a city, and something like that would take care of the blank areas. It's generally not a good idea to randomly generate everything unless you're specifically looking for a challenge (for example, rolling "arcane training" for your dwarven barbarian's educational history).

I'm still not sure to understand. Have you played a ranger for some times, and then decided to multiclass into a cleric? Or have you planned to be a ranger/cleric and now you need a background for this?

About your apparence... your height, weight, size and color hair don't tell us too much things. You can decide it yourself: is your elf really handsome? Usually, elves are, but there might be some exceptions. Perhaps your elf is really handsome, but other elves only see your black hair, and you were ostracized for this reason. That could be enough to get the attention of Freya.

In D&D, scars are hard to explain, since a simple Cure Minor Wounds would be enough to heal that. Unless you are in a very low magic setting.
