CursedMoredhel 05-08-04, 09:46 AM	well you got any more info for us such as stats or alignment etc or are you wanting this info from us anyways one idea for him taking to adventure could be exile, he was a trickster in his home town, and after however long finally pushed every1 over the edge with a prank, and people simple told him he isn't welcome here anymore. but anyways more info would be nice

CursedMoredhel 05-08-04, 10:20 AM	well the info your looking for is better found in the character optimisation forum, which is for making the mechanics of the characters. the character development forum ie this one is for creating histories for characters or explaning why a character would choose certain paths etc however i'll say this as a rogue you'll want intellegence and dexterity the rest aren't as important as those anyways when you want more advice as to the history of your character etc then just ask

That board deals with mechanics and for min/maxing characters. This is the character development board which deals with character personality's, historys, quarks and skills/feats/weapons that go good with characters personality's, historys weither they deal with making a character uber powerful, just for flavor. What you should do is find out a bit about your campaign world and how possibly the campaign is going to start. Is it going to be a rag tag group that meets in a bar and goes looking for treasure? Did the group get summoned by a respected oracle to fulfill the prophecy of saving the world? There various lists of questions somewhere on this board or around the net dealing with characters. Also try: Trydan's How to Create a Roleplaying Character (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=105563) and Galahad's Guide to Holistic Heroes (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=176982) Both are excellent guides to help you create a good roleplaying character.
Son of Khoron 05-09-04, 07:18 AM	You woke up with some blood on the side of your head. Lying at the bottom of a cliff, you can assume you fell and with miraculous results...you survived. Everything seems intact, except for your memory. You can make it your goal to try to regain your memory, the backgorund or origin of your character will be discovered (made up) by you as you play him/her. In RPG sense, your memory may come back or not but if it does, it is a slow but working process. You can work with your DM to have him throw random occurences that will affect you and you can respond to it in any way you like...depending on if you roleplay that he/she remembers anything. Amnesia can be a tricky thing and a wonderful roleplay tool
Aluroon 05-09-04, 01:31 PM	Well you mght want to switch str and cha if you want to use UMD (Use magic device) I agree if your looking for most things related to merchanics you should try the character op forem. Its not that no one here could give you advice, almost all of us can and will, but if you want a super duper soulless creature you need the other board Best Wishs Aluroon
