Red_Wizards_Rock 12-04-07, 01:23 PM	This game started from lvl 1, she is now lvl 15 there has been so much story that it's about to start doing some character focus so the DM wanted a backstory. I just wanted some input and maybe a little help if you should think of anything. Thank you for any help and feedback. 1 - Jaxer - is a Demon who enjoys Gambling and semi villain in the background 2 - Anakar - is the father and semi villain 3 - Aniece - is the mother 4 - Cleric of Bane/Cyric - is kinda a family doctor than to villain (who wouldn't want to control a half fiend) 5 - Iyana - is the PC - Envoker - 3/Master Specialist 4/Red Wizard 7/ Archmage 1 ----- In 1352, the year of the Dragon, two young Red Wizards working in an enclave in Cimbar, Anakar Sokolov, a Red Wizard of Evocation, and Aniece Anastel, a Red Wizard of Transmutation the two were married and planning futures for there lives. In secret Anakar made offerings to a Demon named Jaxer, a demon obsessed with gambling and wagers with mortals to insure wealth and power to him and his family name. In 1353, the year of the Arch, Anakar's offerings had increased beyond monetary value to the lives of people who could not pay the debts they owed to him. As a demonic visage appeared before him claiming to be Jaxer the Lucky. Giving him praise for his offerings and thanks for his sacrifices, and offerings him a wager and a promise of Zulkir. As Anakar listened the demon said "It's simple when your child turns twenty-one you will be Zulkir." As Anakar said "But my wife is not..." as Jaxer cut in he said "Let me finish. If it is a boy you will be a Zulkir, but if it is a girl your soul will be mine on her twenty-first." As the demon sled a contract across the table and a fiery pen he signed eagerly. A few days after the meeting Anakar had come back to his corridors, and his wife revealed to him there family was about to be blessed. As she told him Anakar could already taste Zulkirship. In 1354, the year of the bow, Anakar was promoted to Autharch in Cimbar. He could feel his pact with the demon taking form. He was making contacts and secret alliances with other wizards and factions for his dream of Zulkirship. By the end of the ninth month his wife, Aniece gave birth to a winged demonic baby girl. The mid wives gasped in shock and passed out, a cleric of bane rejoiced at the demonic birth, Anakar felt a cold sweat fall from his head as he passed out, and his wife named her Iyana. As Anakar realized his child was a girl and a demon he had the midwives killed, and cut off her wings to hide her demonic heritage. His wife was shocked, but relieved her child would pass for human. Her parents hired a nanny to take care of her to continue there careers. On her first birthday her parents showered her with gifts. As the small party ended Anakar and Aniece went out for a night on there own. Hours later as they returned home they saw the nanny sitting in a corner shaking all the nanny could say was "Demon...Cat..." as she pointed to a blocked off door. As they removed the barricade from the door they saw the wings had regrown on there baby girl as she sat in the middle of a bloody room eating a cat. As Aniece grabbed the demonic baby the child feel asleep as Aniece walked into another room to clean and take care of her. As Anakar walked passed the nanny he pointed a finger at her as she burst into flames, and went to get the cleric of Bane that was present at her birth. As the cleric shrugged not knowing what happened or caring as he left. Anakar once again cut off her wings. As years passed by Anakar continued to try to grab for power, but watching his alliances crumble. His family still lived well with no more demonic incidents. On Iyana's eleventh birthday her father returned home to see Iyana sitting over his wife and her mothers bloody body unconscious. Anakar went out to find one of his debtors to sacrifice to summon the Demon, Jaxer. As Jaxer appeared Anakar yelled "Killing my wife was not part of the deal!" As a contract appeared in Jaxer's hand he opened it up pointing to small writing "You had a girl so every ten years you lose something until her twenty-first until I get you!" As Anakar stared at him he knew his mistake as he went back to his living corridors he walked into Iyana's room and pulled a dagger from his belt. As he was about to plunge the dagger into her chest he lowered it to his side, and thought to himself "I can kill her and it'll all be over" as sweat fell from his head he held the dagger in the air he thought again "But I have ten more years to come up with something else, before I have to kill her. As he lowered the dagger he knew he couldn't kill the last link of family he had at that moment he knew he'd never be Zulkir. Once again he cut off her wings before she reawakened and summoned the ex-priest of bane and new high priest of Cyric. Anakar begun celebrating Iyana's future birthdays on a different day. As Iyana got older her father knew he'd have to deal with her in a matter of years to save himself. He decided to make her last years full of pleasure by spoiling her rotten, and giving her everything she wanted. When she turned twelve he placed the magical tattoo of the Red Wizards across her face, and begun teach her magics and the ways of the Red Wizards. When she turned fourteen Anakar became Khazark of the Thayian Embassy of Cimbar he realized someday he could still become Zulkir if he lived passed Iyana's twenty-first birthday. As she left Anakar was relieved and guilt ridden at the sametime that he hoped his daughter would die out in the world.
