I would appreciate that you take a look at my explanations and comment it because my DM won't give me a second chance if it's not good enough. For retraining skills, my DM isn't strict but for feats he is ! 2nd level monk bonus feat : Combat reflexes replacing Deflect arrow. Explanations : I have deflected only 3-4 arrows since the beginning of the game... While I was looking around to spot incoming arrows, I saw lot of opportunities I missed. So from now on I will stop looking for incoming arrows and put my effort in AoO. 1st level feat : Improved grapple replacing Improved initiative Explanations : Most of the time, I delay to find out about foe's strategy. It turns out that I'm reactive not proactive. About grapple : The few time I engaged in grappling, it was a successful strategy. 3rd level feat : Endurance vs Skill focus (jump) Explanations : My land base movement improved so much that now I'm relying more on speed than technique to jump. About Endurance : I went through almost all situations in wich Endurance grants a bonus. I rolled a successful saving throw in all of those situations. Is this good enough ? Any good modifications to propose ? |

However, as he is constantly watching his back (and front, and flanks), he is beginning to see potential times he could strike, and has been working on training himself to be able to react to those opportunities. Improved grapple: He doesn't act rapidly, and has ound grappling to be a very effective strategy, and is training himself to become better. Endurance: Can't help you here. I can't really think of an ingame reason why he would replace that feat. No, wait, scratch that, it's not that I don't know why, I just don't know how you would do that. Good luck, though. |

Wrestling is a common theme amongst his clergy (odd given he's a god of knowledge but I digress). If your character is impressed with the clerics fighting style he may decide to take it upon himself to master it. As a bonus both of your new choices fit in with the new combat style you are attempting to master. |
