I know this is rather different but I am looking into making a different kind of cleric.
He would have a high Dex and high Charisma and a high Int. So I guess I am looking for ideas on how I could sculpt him. He is a worshipper of Urbanus from the Races of Destiny and one of his Domains is City which gives him Knowledge Local and Gather Info as class skills.

I am looking for your creative ideas on feats for him as well as planning for the future. The obvious would be to take a level of Rogue... but what if he stayed pure cleric?

Anyway I am looking forward to responses.
Thanks alot.

If your game allows it, you should opt to use the Unearthed Arcana's Cloistered Cleric instead of the typical Cleric. It's the best you can get in terms of skill-monkey divine characters, and it better fits city clerics, who should be fairly well educated. The access to 6+Int mod skill points per level means that you don't need to have a ridiculously high intelligence score to produce a well-bred city slicker.

Skills of interest for you should be:

Knowledge (relgion)
Knowledge (local)
Knowledge (nobility and royalty)
Knowledge (architecture and engineering)
Knowledge (geography)
Knowledge (history)
Gather Information
Diplomacy
Speak Language

If you're willing to forego higher-level spells (and the need for a really high Wisdom score), you can delve into Urban Soul for the end of your progression. Taking the Able Learner feat means you'll get to upkeep your desired skills without having to pay cross-class costs when you take your Urban Soul levels.

Depending on the kind of social involvement of your character, you might want to take ranks in Bluff and Sense Motive (especially if you have to play city-based intrigue games). Regretably, these will always have cross-class limits for you unless you take at least one level in a class that grants those as class skills. Bard makes a better choice here than Rogue, since you'd be getting the following:

1) Speak Language as a class skill (this is only useful if you don't take Able Learner, which is pretty much essential)
2) The bardic knowledge stacks with the cloistered cleric's lore
3) The fascinate bardic music ability fits quite well with a social-based character

More ideas to come.
