In my game, I recent got transformed into a Hound Archon Barbarian (ignore the part that barbarians can't be lawful). Anyone have any insight as to how they would act?

I say the same as before, save a few exceptions. I don't know how you RP'd your barbarian, they usually enjoy life and eating and drinking. During a travel, you could be afraid to starve, until you remember you don't need to eat. You now can drink more alcohol, and thanks to your +4 on saves vs poison, it doesn't affect you that much.

Strangely enough, some details are now bugging you. You now have a deep respect for life, and you won't kill a fly that is merely bugging you. But this respect doesn't extend to cats, which you now despise - that is your hound side. You now can't lie to women when you tell all them they are beautiful and sexy; although you can still tell it, since you now really believe it.

Funny thing is, I was a NG Exalted VoP Druid, before drinking this odd potion... DM is crazy :). Potion changed my class, race, skills, everything. Now I'm a LG Hound Archon Barbarian/Warshaper wielding a big greatsword. Life is strange... Are there any fantasy books written in the perspective of an angel?

... And you don't have a problem with this? Did you know the potion was something powerful before drinking it?

I dunno... A friend and I were going to write one, but we switched the idea for something else.
Is your character aware of the change?
How does he feel about it?
Is he still himself?

I have a few more questions that might help, but answer those first. It'll help the other people here get an idea of how your character should act. :P

The pixie that's been following us (that used to be an imp (improved rod of wonder)), that was the sorcerer's familiar (now an NPC), hit me with a sleeping arrow, and the sorcerer made me drink it. OOC, it was fine with me, but my Druid wasn't going to drink it IC.

Character is aware of the change, the potion did more than just change his appearance, he's actually a hound archon now. He's still the character he was before, but now he's LG and has Angel morals now.

Alright then. Just checking.

Interesting... so does he feel like he's "seen the light" or something to that effect? Does he look at his neutral good past as something to be ashamed of?

Such a quick (and involuntary) leap in alignment is really hard to relate to... If the change is complete, then you need to make that very clear through your actions and comments.

Is your character going to be preachy, or simply a holy warrior out to destroy evil?

A few movies, most are "girls movie", though they offer a very special point of view. Michael (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_%281996_film%29), City of Angels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_angels)... Dogma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogma_%28film%29)is another movie including angels...

Thanks. Haven't seen City of Angels, but seen the other ones.

I think the change was pretty complete. I'm not naturally a LG person, so I can't really see any fault in NG, that the character would... Plus the Druid was exalted, so.. I don't think there was anything like that.

That's the thing.. I don't know how Angels act... Preachy is out of the question though. Though I think I'm leaning towards holy warrior of destruction. We fought a Kyton a little later that day, and I made it my number one priority, ignoring the masses of undead.

If you're DM is okay with it, you could be the more laid back lawful, or a lawful character that doesn't sweat the small stuff (that's what the city guard is for, after all.) If that's the case, I agree that there probably wasn't anything your character would be ashamed of.

Yeah, preachy probably isn't a good idea. :P
The "don't sweat the small stuff" lawful character seems to match with this idea; you don't have to be cocky either. You just know that your fight is with the most dangerous opponent on the battlefield. Why? Because you'd rather fight him yourself than have one of your friends fight him and die. You're a holy warrior after all and this is your calling.

Sound like a good mentality?

Yeah, good ideas. Thanks a lot for your advice. :D
