Becuase I was thinking about playing as a wrymling red/gold dragon Bard. The story is that he/she was raised by a psion and he left him to battle a great outsider. He has yet to come in 4 months, so he/she goes to fight the outsider. The problem is that he/she is atop of a mountain of a great socerer. So he/she waited for about 2-3 hours (Yes, hours, I thought it seems a little comical for such a short period of time). After those hours that seemed to go on for minutes, was found by a Human Druid,a Githyanki Psichic Worrior and a Minotuar Fighter who are sent to the caverns of the mountians to find great booty (heh, booty). The color is highly optimizable, I just picked gold/red for they seem the most dramatic. He is replacing my Fire Gensai Evoker. The class is also optimizable, but weapon sticks to natural.

Any Ideas?

Well by RAW it could be a half-red gold dragon...

Anyway, you might want to make it longer than a couple of hours, coincidences do happen but usually not that fast. Also he seems to meet some 'freaks', is it your current party the githyanki, minotaur and the human?

if you want it optimized go to the optimization boards...

No, what I ment by 'Red/Gold' is either color for aliment purposes, the party is neutral. Yes my party consist of a Minotuar (Twin), Human (Younger Brother) and Githyanki ('friend'). I thought it was a little funny, actualy. I mean, how many times have you seen a story go:"After the great hard ship of about an hour or two of cold, dark quiteness, he found three adventures?" I know where I should go, but I think there are more people here that focus on story telling than power playing.

Okay, gold dragon is just easier (change into a human when in town) but you get less class levels (high ECL). If your DM is interested then how about this; they don't find you, they find your egg.

You're a wyrmling whose egg hatches soon after they encounter it, you'll have a penalty to certain skills and checks for 1 hour (see draconomicon, the must-have dragon book).

Okay, the egg thing is good. He/She is optimizable to any matalic color for the levels. Yes, we know the rules, so thank you.
