You wouldn't believe the lines you get when you've got a paladin and an anti-paladin in the same group. When they first met there was quite a scene. It went more or less like this: Pali "I am NOT a false paladin. Maybe YOU are. Anti-pali "I'll have you know that I am a noble paladin of twelve seasons" Pali "Hey, I'm good and I help people." anti-pali "And it's all wasted by your anger. You are nothing but evil wrath" Pali "And who are you?" anti-pali "Sir Genthis, the Wrathfull" Pali :uh-huh: Maybe you had to be there.

Theoron son of Theorok Here's why i don't like Paladins Are they cold blooded killers, or divine champions Think about how much blood would be on a lvl 20 paladin's hands I know, i know But its evil, yeah and who's a paladin to judge, and yeah i know there no more guilty than a fighter or rogue, but fighters and rogues don't pretend to be divine emissaries(most of the time). DBoot 02-26-05, 02:55 PM	'I raise' -A Paladin in a short lived game with a taste for gambling. (Responsibly and legally of course.) Being dedicated is fine and dandy, and being competent on top of that even more so, but one of the things that bothers me most about paladins is that they're so bloody dramatic. I'm not knocking drama, but it doesn't need to pervade every single aspect of a Paladin's life. 'By Heironeous I will have steak!'

Listen to a bunch of Hammerfall and Rhapsody and you'll see what I mean. Such quotes as "Face me, Evil Bastard!" and "I will light your evil kingdom, and your heart will burn in flames." Give him long hair an chainmail and name him "Saint Vargas the Invincible" or somesuch. He would rock out for Holy Justice.
