necrodude16 01-07-04, 07:14 PM	Shadow has always been a serious, shy, mysterious person. He grew up having a normal childhood and a few close friends. Living near the border to iuz’ territory’s his home town was frequently plundered by iuz’ minions. One day something was done about it in the form of a surprise attack. As the evil forces neared the town center the hired mages hammered them with spells. A stray fireball lit a small house on fire. The evil forces were defeated as a teenage boy ran towards a burning house. The boy found 2 corpses in the house. Later that week all the hired mages were found dead in their inn rooms attacked with a spiked chain. That boy was Shadow, the corpses were his parents, those deaths were his doing. He fled from that town and adopted the name Shadow. He is now living in the Greyhawk underground and hunts mages for a large sum of gold is the best in the business and is now known as Shadow, Mage Hunter. This is the background for my charecter any ideas, good bad,?? he only uses a spiked chain any ideas on roleplaying would help to
Lanoitakude 01-07-04, 07:33 PM	Great background. You can definately have some fun RPing a mage-killer for hire. The spiked chains are a good iceing on the cake. Chains say domination, or possibly punishment. Use the rattling of the chains for effect. Maybe, he could have a calling card. The mages he kills he leaves chained up or something. Calling cards are hardcore and fun, especially for a killer-for-hire. If you plan on using this character for a long time, your calling card can become infamous. Investigators on the scene of a murder might say..."Yup, this is definately the handywork of our man...if only we could catch him." -"Well, why haven't you yet?" - "Thats just the thing, he comes, kills, then vanishes, like a shadow." Those are just my thoughts. I hope you found them useful, or atleast entertaining.
