| Shirosai11-26-05, 10:04 PM | I don't know if this should go here, but it seemed like the best place out of the choices I had. I have some various names that I may or may not want my character's name to be. I need some help figuring out which is "cooler". :D I have narrowed it down to a possible three. Kyril, Andarc, or Raku. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Sorry if this doesn't... Go here. :nonono: |
| Fithero11-26-05, 11:44 PM | Raku... say it as "Ray-Koo" Sounds pretty cool. Apart from making names out of completely random names, i sometimes uses just random words, for instance one of my characters is called "Vincent Day" Hope this helps. Later |
| squidfur-11-27-05, 02:29 AM | I'd say I'm leaning toward Raku as well, pronounced like Fithero said. Question though, what kind of shapeshifter we talkin' about here? Cuz' a Chondathan werewolf's gotta have a different sounding name then say a doppleganger hailing from someplace in Eberron. |
| General_Ridley11-27-05, 04:26 PM | you're going to need several names. |
| Harrow Blade11-28-05, 03:38 AM | I too am liking Raku but say it with a growl, shifters are slightly feral and so I envision them putting a slightly animalist twist on everything. |
| Dark_Prince12-25-05, 05:51 PM | Yes Raku sounds good, a spiratual sounding name. I see shapeshifters as more of spiratual characters so i think it sounds good for a Shapeshifter |
| Lyinginbedmon12-29-05, 10:16 AM | A Shapeshifter like a Doppelganger should have hundreds of names, any one it decides to use more often than others should be at least somewhat androgynouse. A Shapeshifter like a Were-X will probably only have one name, and maybe a few aliases as they wander through cities and take victims. |
| Tylerhanlon12-30-05, 10:11 PM | Go with the Raku name. It sounds the best. |
| Pandaemoni12-30-05, 10:33 PM | I prefer Kyril, which is itself a not uncommon form of "Cyril," especially in slavic nations. "Ray-Koo" is okay too. |
