Hey guys,

I am gonna play a bard, but I can't stand the idea of this half-elf lass standing there singing or reciting poetry or playing the lute while her fellow adventurers are getting hacked to bits by tiefling assassins!

So, I was thinking of a bard that has a clever comeback, a witty saying, an anecdote, a fable, a wise saying, or clever insult for any situation.

For example, when our ranger slays an orc raider she will say "may your blood feed the earth you have laid waste to" or something like that.

Now I need to build up a nice big collection of fables, sayings, insults, etc. and I could really use your help on this.

So, anything you've got, fling it this way!

Thanks in advance.

Well, in terms of "bard-quotes", one of my personal favourites is from the CPRG "Baldur's Gate II", where one of the bard characters says:

"I would gladly dance to your tune... if you would but learn to play!"

I'm off-topic, but I need to defend the bard a little bit. Think of him like the infatigable fan who never stop to scream "LET'S-GO-GUYS!" in a football team...

be an actress. that has light years of use and with your perform in acting so high you could be the groups "face-woman". That way you can make-up your own identity and act according to her roles personality.
