Minister_for_Moral_Truth 01-24-06, 11:17 PM	An odd request, perhaps, but I have a hobgoblin bard, and feel like having some songs to corrupt the lyrics for. See if I can't show up the munchkins by having ten times the depth and still having a decent character. Having already mangled the Balad of the Green Berets, brutally scarred the Marine Corps prayer and made a good run at the Sherramuir Fight (broad Scots is hard to do this to, and doing this to Burns on the 25th seems sacreligious, but hey), I'm now looking for something else to work from. Anyone have any ideas?

Try http://www.thebards.net/music/ Plenty of traditional Irish and Scottish songs like the The Old Dun Cow, Whiskey In The Jar and Wild Rover (along with some original songs in the same tradition). It also has free (low fidelity) versions of many of the songs so you can hear the tunes. It seems like "Soul of a Harper" Would convert to "Soul of a Hobgoblin" pretty easily (or even easier, though not my favorite, Lish Young Buy-A-Broom can easily convert to "Lish Young Hobgoblin").
