The party consists of a Minotuar Fighter, a Fire Gensai Wizard (my character) and a Half-Elf Ranger. Okay, so were walking along and My chracter looks at the map. Not aware that he has just walked into a iceicle. So they find a Spirt Shaman on the way. Not a problem at all, but here is a big one: I can't decide what to pick for my story. (1) The adventures go into a cave and are a victim of a few harmless pranks. They incounter a rather playful Ghost sitting in a dead tree, a Warlock influensed by the Forces of Fey. He says he died laughing from a joke from a Great Wyrm Silver Dragon. He has a normal appearance and 7 ranks in Bluff and 3 ranks in Intimadate with the Traveler path to keep him away from the enimies. He joins the party for wealth. He needs to hear the sound of laughter, eat chicken, spend time up in high trees, look at prank victims, shake hands with anybody who is good at jokes (giving the joker a light shock of electricity makes him very happy), collect papers inprinted with funny pictures and drink strong lemon juice. -or- (2) The adventures go into a cave and feel a duanting presance. They are victm to the fear, shaken effect. It happens to be a Ghost on a stone tome, with powers influeced by the forces of dark demons. His heart is good, but he seems to be kind of creepy. He says he was killed by a Great Wyrm White Dragon. He has a gruesome appeance with 17 ranks in Intimadate and -7 points in Bluff with the Huant path to keep enimies away from him. He decideds to join the party for revenge on all white dragons. He needs to hear the sound of beasts roaring, eat beef, spend time around stone, look at those who are releaved, distroy an evil corpse with his bare hands, collect novels of the horror genre and drink Scruge (a drink I saw in NWN). They are bolth Chaotic Good and you can't realy see his body or face becuase it's covered in leather armor and a hood. |

| Trydan08-10-05, 03:17 AM | Er... what is the question? Are those background choices for your character or an NPC? Which character (Fighter, Wizard or Ranger) was actually yours - or are you suggestion that your character is a new one (Warlock) who would join the party? I guess what I'm saying is that as it wasn't really clear from your post, you can't expect too many replies... (see also the FAQ, link in .sig) To choose between the two backgrounds, you need to consider the context of the others and the tone of the campaign. If it is light and humourous, go with the first. If it is dark and meancing, go with the second. |
| Otogi08-10-05, 01:05 PM | Okay, what I'm saying is that I'm replacing my Wizard chacter PC with a Warlock chacter PC. The Fighter and the Ranger are not mine. As for the tone it isn't truly clear, just help me here! |
