Currently in 1 campaign I'm playing a N/ almost G Half-vamp in a homebrew world. He has some elements from Blade (katana) but doesn't go on a anti-vamp crusade. He has accepted himself for what he is but doesn't like it, his policy on drinking blood is only to do it when it saves the lives of the party/innocent bystanders. so most of the time he's tired.

His main goal it to find his mother and findout why he is what he is, and during his travels helps the peolpe who need it and when he needs something.
he also doesn't care much about money, only enough to live on.
I've got a big part of his background but I got stuck. A few things that are set are:
-he leeves the monastary when he's 18 to search for his mom
- travels around for 2 years before the campaing starts.

this is waht I've got:

The history of Jason Sundawn

It all began on a sunny day in the city Ravalion, a group of adventures asked the local Pelor monastery if they could send someone with them who had knowledge about the undead. Because the party lost there own cleric in a gruesome battle. The priest weren’t sure if anyone wanted to go with the group, so they asked and there was one cleric who really wanted to go, her name was Maria Sundawn.
The monastery didn’t hear anything about the party for months, until one day when Maria returned, pregnant. She didn’t say much about what happened and who the father was the only thing she said was that she was the only survivor of the party. She stayed in the monastery for 6 months, isolating herself from the rest with each passing day, until one day she left. Leaving a note behind which only contained three words “I’m sorry” the clerics tried to find her but she vanished into thin air. After three months they finally gave up on her and continued with their lives, but still every night they pray for her well-being and safety.
A year later there was an incident that shocked the entire monastery. On a dark and stormy night there was someone who tried to bash in the wooden monastery doors. All the combat able residents ran towards the entrance only to find that the bashing had stopped and the door intact on the inside. The High Cleric opened the doors and looked out side, only to see two shadowy figures running away into the darkness off light, one looked like a woman and the other like a large brute. He was about to close the door but he heard something crying beneath him. He looked down and saw a child wrapped in cloth; he picked the child up from the ground and went back inside. With more light he saw that the child was wrapped in a burial shroud, he also discovered on the child a necklace and a note. He looked at the note first; it said, “Please take care of him, I’m still sorry”. With a grave look on his face he examined the necklace. The other people in the room saw that the High Cleric almost fainted when he looked at the backside of the medallion that was attached to the necklace, because it was Maria’s. After some more inspecting they found out that the child wasn’t completely normal, better said the child was half-vampire.
This startled everyone, after some debating on what to do with the child whether to let the spawn of evil live or not. The High Cleric came with an idea, he would perform a sacred ritual, which could tell if the core of the child is evil or not. Is it evil the child dies, is it good the child lives. So the High Cleric did the sacred ritual, it lasted two days to complete. But the answer that they got wasn’t the answer most of them wanted. It appeared that the child didn’t even had a grain of evil in his body, and being a man of his word he took care of the child like it was his own. He named him Jason, Jason Sundawn. The life of young Jason wasn’t an easy one. Especially if you’re a Half-vamp and half of the monastery wants you dead.
Some of the people who wanted him dead did change over years when they saw that he was a good boy with a soul of an angel but living with a curse form the evil. He became friends with one of the other orphans that lived there. A human girl named Anja.
Jason’s heritage began to kick in when he was six. He became very tired even with enough sleep and rest, over the weeks it seemed to get worse. This changed when the High priest came to the conclusion that vampire part of Jason was the problem, it seemed that Jason needs a small amount of fresh blood directly for a person once a day, every day to function normal. But he can go without blood for some time with the price to tired until he drinks some blood. This scared a lot of the monk that lived in the monastery. So as a test he and Anja where locked in a room, to see what Jason would do when he needed blood. They where locked together for four days, during those four day’s Jason never asked her for blood or attempted to attach her. Instead he told her why they where locked together and what he was, Anja was shocked but still cared for him as a friend. In the middle of the fourth day she offered him some of her blood because she could end stand it any more to see him suffer, he refused it. And because of that action some of the monks started to treat him better, a couple even tried to teach him the way of the cleric or the monk, but they found out that that wasn’t he way of living. There was one monk, a dwarven monk named Ulfgar who’s a retired samurai who got enough of fighting. He taught Jason how to make a katana and how to wield one and little Jason was a natural at it.
The years after the room test Anja and Jason grow closer to each other, they were always together doing things.

and this is where I got stuck, if some got ideas for trauma's, happy moments etc.
I will be glad to hear them.

You have the makings of a good history so far, the only thing you might want to do is a little proof reading to correct some spelling errors, other than that you just need to take it slow.
The only thing I would add is wether or not he's allergic to, or harmed by light, otherwise just let the ideas for the history come as they may :) .
