I'm starting a new campaing and my new pc is a voldni druid (race from UE), do you guys have suggestions on where should I look for tips on roleplaying a druid? Any book to read or anything? I want him to be really cold towards civilized races but i'm still lacking rp ideas...

Druid... Hmm... I don't know the race but I can suggest something...

1st type: Hates cities and thinks that people are fools do destroy mother earth's gifts. Prejudisted against people that live in big cities. Frontier villages are tolerated.

2nd type: Thinks that people that live in the cities are fools but enjoys the naivete... Usually laughing in cities, thinking "how fools can they be". Generally good tempered. When speaking with someone who lves in a cities acts as if he's talking to a small child.

3rd type: Doesn't much care about cities. They think they are safe and smart, their opinion... I know the truth and that's enough.

Try to come up with some manerisms or phrases to convey your woodland (or other appropriate terrain type) affiliation. Examples could include:

Compliments - "An owl's idea, my friend... well done!"
Insults - "May you suffer the fate of forrest litter for your display of domesticated-animal-stupidity!"
Oathes - "By the grace of sunlight and spring rain!"
Actions - Maybe occasionally pat the leaves of a tree
Sounds - whistle like a bird
Annoying traits - refuse to bury the dead, saying that the corpses should be left as carrion.

These are just examples, but they should give you some ideas.

I actually play a Druid who thinks cities are a good thing...

Because, I would rather have all of the people living in a small area than spread out in my forest.

that's something to think of,but does any of you guys know of any book where I could find info on the druid order or something? How one can became a druid, I think this would be priceless information to build a druid's background... just for clarify his also true neutral, and volodnis are a race of plant-like humanoids (actullay they have the plant type) they very agressive towards the expansion of civilization and are ruled by druidic circles (their favored class is druid btw)

The Complete Druid's Handbook from 2e was a great source of druidic knowledge. The new Masters of the Wild is okay and maybe a good replacement for the Complete Druid's Handbook. If not, check the Forgotten Realms Corebook. There is some info on Realms druids in the front.

My druid/barbarian is close to what you want (I think) So I'll give you my druids backstory and maybe it'll help you out.

He's a half-elf that was kicked out of his elven community along with his human mother. They were taken in by a druid Ent and the boy grew up in the druidic ways. His mother was a soceror and helped to maintain the forest.
one day, the boy left to explore and when he returned, he found everything burned, the kindly Ent, the Grove, and his mother. He tracked the orgres that destoryed his home and killed them all in a rage.
He now adventures to gain enough power to resurect his mother and the Ent of Vingrove, Killing any orgre or pompus elf he can find.

Well, that was a great idea, I thought about that and came up with this, He would be named after some long-dead druid that was important to his community, but as a agressive man, he became unworthy (to the eyes of his people) to the name he inherited, so now his seeking ways to prove himself worthy of the name travelling all around trying to find self-control, it's not going to be easy and will cause some problems... I'm thinking about a lvl in ranger and have humans as favored enemy... btw Is there an arch-druid PrC??? the campaing started and I'm the only non-human along with a "unusual" ranger drow... thanks for the replys so far, It's been a great help...
* I could not find anywhere the complete guide to druids, does anybody knows of any other book/novel? I've got MotW but while it gives lot's of useful information it doesn't give me what I'm looking for, such as hierarchy and stuff...
