| CursedMoredhel02-02-04, 08:14 AM | ok my dm wants all my group to start our new campaign out as a character which is based around our personalities and we had to take a personality test and use some comments we each said about each other personalities the personality test was more of a disorder test as you can see: Disorder | Rating Paranoid: Low Schizoid: Low Schizotypal: Moderate Antisocial: Moderate Borderline: Low Histrionic: Moderate Narcissistic: High Avoidant: Low Dependent: Low Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate the comments my group said were: -manipulative -unpredictable -witty -trusting -unstable -friendly any suggestions on a fitting race or class possible future/background and how i should roleplay a character based around the disorder test and my groups comments |
| horndgod02-02-04, 11:31 PM | Have you considered a Chaotic Neutral Bard? |
| Bromabaz Silvertwister02-03-04, 01:03 AM | yes, or a Neutral, Neutral Evil sorcerer would fit nicley as well. Or a cleric of olidamara<sp?> |
| Trydan02-03-04, 03:22 AM | I'd combine those last two posts... Chaotic Neutral Sorcerer. Human would suit, as a race. |
| TheBlackBart02-03-04, 05:53 PM | Myself, I would suggest a halfling rogue. Since you seem to be narcicistic (I didn't say that, it's your test) I think it would be interesting to see a very confident halfling, even one with a superiority complex. Also, he could have high charisma and intelligence score, and manipulates everyone around him, perhaps for the simple fun of it, or he might have some hidden agenda. You'd be chaotic, I believe, though you could be good, neutral, or evil. Not only CN people are unpredictable. Yet, I would choose CN anyway. Because a Good manipulator is somehow strange, and Evil don't work well in most campaigns. Besides, CN people are the one who will most often be found having fun as their main motivation. |
| CursedMoredhel02-03-04, 11:07 PM | ok thanx for the ideas i think i'll go a CN Halfing rogue and probably multiclass to bard at some point... always manipulating people but when he gets caught out passes it off as a jest or furthr manipulates then to believe there is a higher plan at work or sumfin like that |
| Lord of the Ninth02-03-04, 11:46 PM | huh, I think I just took that test, it pegged me as an antisocial histrionic with narcissistic and schizotypal tendencies (which is a bit ironic if you read their descriptions). I'd say you'd be CN (don't rule out CE for your PC of course, you have some antisocial in the mix, but also don't rule out CG). Definately put ranks in bluff or get some enchantment spells. if you want to play something similiar to yourself I recomend you enter "What D&D character are you?" into a search engine and take the test you find, it will give an alignment, race and two classes (and the breakdown of the next most likely options for each), as well as a forgotten realms deity (shudder). |
| CursedMoredhel02-04-04, 07:53 AM | I got CG Elven Ranger secondary class fighter and mielikki as a diety... but that dont exactly fit in with the disorder test or the groups comments but is however my favourite Character to play i usually play a CG elf ranger of mielikki(if i want a diety that is) but i think i'll go with the CN halfling rogue possibly branching into bard at some point |
| CaoSlayer02-04-04, 08:39 AM | wow, a sun elf or grey elf... usually elves are too pride of themselves... and the sun and grey are more! |
| CursedMoredhel02-04-04, 10:00 AM | i change sub races for elves all the time between my characters i've used most of them but typically the wild or moon elves... my group was typiccaly a hack an slash group but 1 by 1 were beginning to actually role play our characters... |
