| Azire05-17-07, 11:08 AM | I'm trying to put together an incredibly stong party of people/creatures (evil) that are extremely proficient in what they do. My group of players doesnt normally stray from the base classes too much into some of the uber powered characters I've seen posted. We just dont plan that far ahead normally. So basically I want to cause a little bit of chaos and strife with this party. I'm posting the characters here at level 14. I'm not sure where they're going to be yet, so I was going to level them up as necessary and just keep them in reserve. Heres what I have so far: Minotaur (Monsterous Humanoid 6/Fighter 4/Barbarian 4) Feats: 2 weapon fighting, Oversize 2 weapon fighting, power attack, power charge, weapon focus (greataxe), improved critical (greataxe) Wields a pair of +1 Keen Greataxes into battle (23/23/18/13, my group lets keen and improved crit stack). This is the power build I have so far. I want to make him powerful, but keep him simple enough that I dont have to spend hours and hours researching things. Doppleganger (Monsterous Humanoid 4/Rouge 4/Assassin 6) Feats: Combat Reflexes, Quickdraw, Weapon Finesse, Expertise, Improved Critical (shortsword) Poison is something thats greatly overlooked with my group. This char wont let them overlook it anymore. He carries around a number of swortswords, each equipped with a triple weapon capsule retainer loaded with various poisons. This is the character that observes a target until they're alone, then kills them either from the death attack or the posion, then takes their place and waits for their real target, replacing people as necessary to get close enough to them. Beastmaster This is a very vauge idea so far. Basically I want a natural lycanthrope druid with a small pack of jungle cat animal companions from the Beastmaster prestige class. The thing is the Beastmaster class is confusing me. As I read it, they get an animal companion or alternate animal companion at first, then after that they get more animal companions, but only from the list of 1st level druid companions. Is this right? Or can I make a level 4 druid, then when they go into Beastmaster just load up on leopards and cheetahs as animal companions? Any ideas or suggestions on how to improve these guys, Or should this be over in character optimization? |

If you want help with a characters background then this is the right place. Can I suggest that you come up with some basic ideas and some kind of background first, so that people do not have to write the whole thing for you. Prom |

Each of them has their own goals and ambitions, but they will come when called to do the emperor's bidding because he pays so well. The doppleganger plans to eventually take his place once the emperor dies for whatever reason. He could do it no problem, and most likely stay in power for a good long time before anyone noticed. The minotaur I think is going to be a bloodlusted "executioner" who sees nearly everyone as a either a sinner or a saint. For the sinners, the punishment is death. For saints, their reward ... is death. At least killing other NPCs will keep the minotaur well funded. The Beastmaster could use some malicious motive. Ideas? Suggestions? Comments? Emotional outbursts? |
