| Teltharis11-03-04, 09:54 PM | Alright, I'm currently putting together a back story for a N Wizard who is of Thayan blood, born and raised in Thay(this is in FR btw). The thing is that I don't want him to become a Red Wizard, he abandons all of his families wealth and status just so he can study without worry of being stabbed in the back with a lightning bolt just so some upstart can acquire his notes on his latest spell or what not. I know that I'm gonna RP him out as being extremely cocky and vain. And he isn't gonna be shy about using his flashiest spell just to make some poor goblin turn into a pile of goo. Defitnitly shooting for Archmage later on. One of the other guys in the party is gonna play the fighter and be my younger brother who is/was a Thayan Knight in training till I decided to abandon my position. Being the loyal knight he is he comes with me even though he will never be a Thayan Knight this way. One of the other members is gonna be a druid, I see problems with this in a RP'ing sense later, cuz I'm not gonna think twice about tossing a fireball to burn down a whole encampent of orcs and the trees around them, should be fun :D Any comments, critiques or ideas will be appreciated. |

The Red Wizards outlaw all magic that isn't theirs in the city (I think) and even if they don't, losing a student/slave (cuz that's how they treat them) makes them angry. You'll just have the peculiar dislike of going to Red Wizard Enclaves to buy things. |
