It's not possible unless your DM gave you enough stats to put stats at 18 each. Class would be fighter but the skills you need go to the rogue. It's just not possible. Prince is uber. Who can defeat Death and the Empress of Time in one game. TOO UBER!!!!!

One question: Are you trying to create the prince as a DM or trying to create the prince as a player?

The prince, from the sounds of it (havn't played the games) sounds very powerful. From the sounds he'd probably be epic. So playing exactly like him from level 1 if your a player will be difficult in the sense that you won't have all of the characters abilities that the character has in the game.

Also try the character optimization board. Those are the guys that deal heavily on builds. http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=339

It's probably not possible. However I shall give it a shot.

Remember that in the lead-up to Warrior Within, the Prince had been running from and fighting against the Dahaka for quite some time (I got the impression it had been years). That would have easily propelled the Prince into epic levels, or at least to something like level 18 or 17.

What this means is that you wouldn't be able to play from level 1. The Prince's level 1 to level 11 progression was probably all before the Sands of Time game.

His classes would be a mix of Fighter and Rogue, and his feats would include all the two-weapon fighting feats. There would be an Improved Grapple feat in there somewhere too, and disarm feats.

I have no idea about the wall-running. That's possible with psionics, last I knew, but Prince is not really a psionic character.

The time-related abilities are abilities the Prince has because of the presence of the Sands of Time, and are not class abilities.

i think the prince would have dervish 10 persionaly. They get tumble as a class skill and they move around and attack. they get nice bonuses with scimitar. A clear choice for me.

Fighter/Rogue (levels?) Lotso 2 weapon fighting (duel scimi's).

---one of the scimi's has Speed or Haste enchantment---

---Cloak of the Arachnid (or something like this) that gives spider-walk at full speed (running on walls?)

---At this point your going to need to create an artifact of some sort that grants him the time stoppage powers (id say, Time Stop once every week... something like that.---

Definetely more Dex than Str. Make your Dex high because the maximum armor your going to be wearing is probably Studded Leather.

I dunno how well that fits. I've played the games and all, but his abilities are REAL hard to put into game terms (without going uber-epic)

I have no idea about the wall-running. That's possible with psionics, last I knew, but Prince is not really a psionic character.

All you would need to take is the Wild Talent feat to have access to psionic feats like Speed of Thought and the wall climbing one.

Well personally from what I've see he is definately a TWF so dervish would be a nice way to go with ftr/rogue levels to get to dervish? plus add an artifact or two and you got him, he would probably wear a black mithral breastplate in the new game.

or I would just take him as an expert ... that way you can pick and choose how you build the character up, but TWF would suffer

if I'm not mistaken, the epic book says how to run on walls and stuff, and jump on clouds and stuff. obviously, these are insanely high checks (like 50 or more to jump on a non-solid surface like a cloud.)

I don,t have this book here though. but yeah, the psionic feats allow you to run of walls and stuff liek that too.

but the rpince is obviously near epic, if not epic, with an insane amound of dexterity.

I've tried it, I picked Ranger, yes the Prince is uber, but he gets knocked down, I mean look, in sands of time by the end of it you had all of the sand powers, you begin this game not even being able to use the sands, I'd say pick it up from there, have the Prince loss the scorpion sword (empress ending) or the watersword (Dahaka ending), have it so the prince dosn't have the sands powers, use acouple of Psionic feats to allow him to run on and up walls, you will need alot of Int if you don't Multiclass since there are so many skills you'll need. Give him studded or regular armor.

After all in both endings the sands either don't exist yet or exist but the prince never got ahold of him.

Also if you do want the sands then remember rewinding time last 6-8 seconds,
Slowing down time last an equal amount of time. I would like to recreate the prince as a character, I think it would be cool to run from than kill the Dahaka.

An alternative would be making the Prince a sorcerer who focuses on time-based spells (slow, haste, etc) and have him take levels in Eldtrich Knight. Meanwhile, take cross-class skills like balance and jump. And finally, take the wild talent psionic feat and get stuff like run up the walls. Or you could cast spider climb to simulate the wall-running effect. I've though about playing the Prince as well.
