| BreegJac1708-04-07, 11:13 PM | What would be some good reasons, to incorporate into a backstory, that my dwarf wouldn't take the runesmith prestige class? |
| TheAnthroDM08-04-07, 11:17 PM | Because the training was unavailable to him? I don't think you really need a reason NOT to take a PrC unless you're groups a bunch of munchkins that are like forcing you to optimize. |
| Fithero08-04-07, 11:30 PM | yeah... thats quite an odd request there  Perhaps some of the following- -you ticked off the instructor who trains Runesmiths (insulted him, attacked him, slept with his daughter) -you were supposed to become a runesmith, but when your training was meant to begin, your clan was involved in a war, and you were drafted for the front lines. -you not from a clan of dwarves at all, you grew up in a human city. -you just flat out refused to become a runesmith and either exiled yourself or were sent to some far away outpost by your king to get rid of you. Of course you knew this was the case, and when you came to the outpost, you just kept on walkin... |
| Stormbrand08-05-07, 12:28 AM | Because you had other things to do. |
| BreegJac1708-05-07, 01:31 AM | Heh, thanks for the replies. |
