| TaintedSoulBrokenHeart02-08-07, 09:52 AM | So I am trying to think up a story for my Half-Ogre thief character....he is currently a rogue5/fighter2/menacing brute5/streetfighter4. The DM waved the half-orc racial requirement on the Menacing Brute. My abilities are Str: 26 Dex: 16 Con: 20 Int: 15 Wis: 13 Cha: 12 I want to make him a bandit...a highwayman. I think his mother was a prostitute...willing to service any and all who paid...maybe come up with stories of his other relatives...half-orcs, half-hobgoblins, Minotaurs, ect. And I want him to cuss like a drunken half-ogre sailor with a penchant for blasphemy and wenching. He fights with a falchion, and makes use of the Telling Blow feat (adds sneak attack dmg to crits). Give me some ideas for him if you please. |

He is too big, too different and too dangerous. He started out a rogue and would have been smart enought and large enought to move up the ranks. The people that worked with him would have treated well due to fear as opposed to respect. I think he would have developed some resentment because he would have know that the people around him didn't really like him. This would have led to him becoming somewhat of a bully. Meancing brute is basically the bully class. I think below the surface he would still want a real connection with other people. This is true of most bullies. As he reached his teen levels his attitude would had to be adjusted somewhat as he would have come into contact with foes that do not fear him. This would have made him a little more careful. The underlying traits however are still based on the fact that he is 1: Used too being the biggest and strongest 2: Used too people doing what he says 3: Has had few if any real friends This is one of many possible profiles of the character personality. Many could be a lot darker depending on your game. It would be hard to go much lighter due to the meancing brute class. |
