| Context02-24-07, 06:48 PM | I have an amusing idea for a character that I really want to play but I can't find a race that fits the concept. The character is a tiny, somewhat surly, seamstress. She lives in a tavern in a dolls house and she makes clothes for people who are dozens of times larger then she does. She's often drunk because people don't sell beer by the thimble-ful and she lives in a converted toolbox. Having hands that are less then a centimetre across gives you -really- fine stitching. I want this character to be less then a foot tall (diminutive in D&D terms). She's being designed for a Western game. She starts with 18 000 XP which means I can stand a relatively high ECL if that's necessary. The game isn't combat heavy but combat will be a part of it. I was thinking pixie but they're actually quite a bit larger then I was thinking. Arguably, if I can't find a better species, I'll use pixies and just make them shorter, but I was wondering if there was something somewhere that fit this concept better. |

| Context02-24-07, 08:50 PM | I don't have MM3, which is unfortunate, but the only tiny creatures in MM2 are the jermaline, which have no clear character creation rules and are basically rat-people, and boguns, which are constructs. Neither of them are quite what I'm looking for. |

| grasharm02-25-07, 02:38 AM | You could try Grig if you want to stay human shaped but if your looking for tiny and have acess to the dracanomicaon and related books a brass dragon wyrmling is actually tiny so could work. As for diminutive I have no clue how to get that small without becoming a swarm. |
| Context02-25-07, 12:13 PM | I talked with my storyteller and we're just making pixies smaller. Being able to turn invisible is fun. Thanks for your suggestions. |
