| Vilmar03-20-04, 06:16 AM | http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040319a I just read ths and nooooo, nooo, noo. A friend of mind said this: Friend: 'A half-drow is a half-elf born of a human and drow union. A half-drow typically has dusky skin, silver or white hair, and eyes of some normal human shade. Half-drow have the abilities of normal half-elves except that they have darkvision (60-foot range) instead of low-light vision. A half-drow who wishes to explore his dark elf heritage can become a full drow with a 2-level transition class' Friend: You're sh*tting me.... Friend: How do you change your initial genetic makeup? I totally don't agree with it also as it seems like a means of people who don't think there supposedly l33t 'special' character is special enough and needs to become even more obscure, however it lead me ponder something about a character I made a while back. What about characters who are the spawn of two sub species within a certain race? For example: 1/2 shield, 1/2 gold dwarf or 1/2 moon, 1/2 sun elf. By this whole stupid transition idea, shouldn't this feature apply to these type of characters. I.e. A moon elf with a sun elf parents genes in him to explore his 'sun elf' side and thus gaining a +2 intelligence bonus? |

| Mr.Musgrave03-20-04, 04:44 PM | Yeah, if you DM allows it I guess so. But this whole idea is stupid. God, if our groups powergamer ever gets ahold of this crap our DM is gonna flip. |
