11-23-04, 11:48 AM you're the soul of a Kalashtar commander who was killed during the last war and was placed in a warforged body as a last resort to save you?

Or perhaps during the destruction of the Mournlands your character was hit with a blast of psionic feedback energy?

Or you were an experiment by the House Cannith, who were trying to gain another edge with their warforged by having them use psionics (no ASF). this could be cool because you could have your character be unbalanced, like the experiment really messed up his personality encoding.

just a few thoughts.

11-23-04, 03:57 PM A good idea is that you were a protector of some school. And after like a hundred years you gained the power from the teacher. That would make for a cool story line.

11-25-04, 02:14 PM ASF: Arcane Spell Failure

BTW, I know this is not character optimization board, but I think that the Warforged have a penalty to Wisdom. That's the Psychic Warrior Casting stat. You may prefer a psion / fighter / illithid slayer type of character. Talk to your DM to change the flavor of the Illithid Slayer into something more eberronesque and you are done.
