| Gneral Kass12-25-04, 07:07 PM | I went through the Optimization threads to help make my character who will start out at lvl 12 and now I'm here to check on my characters history. Beginning the camaign he'll be Rogue 2/Urban Ranger 3/ Spymaster 2/ Thief-Acrobat 5 and will be finishing off with Justicar 8 for the rest of the campaign. I'm just checking to see if the history I cooked up for the character is good or too stereotypical. Starting the campaign he'll be 23. Let me know what you think. Tullist was born into a middle class family as an only child. He was unaware at his young age that his father was actually a master thief working for the most prominent criminal guild in the city. He was horrified when he came home one day to find his parents being held down by thugs while they rummaged through his home. The thugs had been sent by his father’s guild master to retrieve a precious item his father had stolen during a job and neglected to give to the guild. His father had seen him coming toward their home and signaled for him to stay away. Tullist ran as fast as he could to the local guard station for help. When he returned with the guards his home was already burning and his parents lay dead at the door with flames licking away at their corpses. That day he dedicated himself to getting even with the organization that had brought that travesty upon him. During the next decade he joined the city guard’s training camp to become an instrument to help quell the lawlessness that infected the city. He showed more promise than most of the recruits and was trained along other selected recruits to become an under cover agent for the city guard. At nineteen he attained the rank of officer and became an official criminal agent for the guard. Four years later he has become one of the top criminal agents under the guard by personally overseeing the fall of three criminal guilds. He infiltrates his way into criminal guilds posing as a master thief and succeeding in every task he undertakes (by staging thefts with the local guard) and returning unscathed. If he is forced to bring a guild member along, or a potential future thief he uses his contacts in the local law enforcement branches to stage guards around a target and traps and sturdy defenses around the building which he will scout out ahead of time to be sure the person he brings along can give an honest accounting of his skills. Lately he has been nearing the rank of Justicar. His newest assignment will prove to the city council that he is not only worthy of the title, but completely loyal to the city as well. |

| Gneral Kass12-25-04, 10:04 PM | It is pretty fun in our group. This game is especially fun because I'm actually the only good player in the game. The other players are all members of the guild I'm infiltrating. The DM told us ahead of time that we will be trying to figure out who the mole is throughout the game. He then called me up and told me to make a character up to be the mole. He'll have my character's true character sheet that says lawful good on it with the history you see here. Meanwhile, I'll have a fake character sheet that says lawful evil and the DM will justify me going Spymaster to infiltrate houses and Justicar as an enforcer for the guild masters laws in the area of the city he controls. Whenever a player asks if I'm the mole I just say no. Until they can prove it I'm just another evil character whose scouting missions are actually reporting in to my superiors. |
