pumpkinnosegirl20 01-02-06, 08:24 PM	My name is Drusilia Amakiir. I was born in Doulathanorian in the Edosi Forest. I lived with my human mother, Helena, and my elf Father Hulrad. I have an older brother, Cyrn, who is a paladin, and a twin sister, Jeserel, who is a ranger. Right now I'm working at a horse ranch. I am 24 years old with black hair braided to the middle of my back, with green eyes and a light copper tone to my skin. I'm not a fancy dresser. Usually I wear a blue tunic and brown pants. I'm a peasant. I favor my right hand opposed to my left. One of my weaknesses is that I'm not very talkative and I talk really lightly, unless the situation demands that I talk louder. And I only talk when need be. I grew up in a loving family home. Of coarse it was like any family, my parents making sure that neither I or my siblings pretty much never did anything we weren't suppose to do, of coarse my brother usually helped my parents out when it came to me and my sister. Of course like any brother he also liked to torment us. Usually it was him hiding our favorite toy. The reason I decided to become a druid is because when I was fifteen me, Cyrn, and Jeserel were walking in the forest behind our home and we happened to stumble upon a wolf den that had five cubs in it. The poor things looked like they hadn't eaten in days. So for a couple of days I checked on them and they still looked that way so I took them home and reared them myself of course I couldn't of gotten better advise from someone other then my parents since they both were druids also. After the pups were old enough to defend for themselves I released four of them back into the wild and was able to keep one as a wolf companion. Every once in a while I would go see the pack. After Azul turned five I decided to turn him loose with the back and was able to get another wolf companion. In the year that I turned seventeen Cyrn decided to help King Dorlanisti with a band of Dejys that lived in the surrounding forest. At the age of eighteen Jeserel left with some Rouge she met at the Tavern. Our parents were pretty upset about this. We have not heard anything from either of my siblings so we don’t know what is going on with them. Then to make things worse for my family, our village was attacked when I was 20 and me and my wolf companion, Maverick have found ourselves in a new land that we knew nothing about. I don’t even know how we got here, or why my life has been spared. We have been here for 4 years and I would greatly appreciate any help to find my way back to my homeland.
Araciel 01-02-06, 10:34 PM	just fill in the details... are your siblings your adventuring companions?? if not, do you still keep in touch with them? what about the other wolf cubs, do you still visit the pack?? where did you get your equipment, and is there any special significance about any of it? you cna be as specific or non specific as you want. just remember that including specific instances of past allows your DM to mess with you more heheh
Gothic Rose 01-03-06, 03:00 AM	If the siblings aren't adventuring companions, did they survive the attack on your home? Have you been able to return home? Why were you taken to a new land? Who took you? Where did you wake up? Were you enslaved? If not, why would someone bother to take you somewhere else, plant you in a field, wait for you to wake up, and let you be?
Nani? 01-03-06, 09:11 AM	What are your goals and why do you have them. For example-- 1) Do you want to just return home or do you want to stay and figure out why you were droped in the field in another country or something else entirely? 2)What happened among those horsebreeders. What happened there and why have you left? 3)Your a half elf child of loving, mixed parentage, how has that affected your view on love, society etc? What do you think of elves, humans, marrige between them? 4) Why are you a druid? Is it a calling or did you become one because mom and dad were druids? 5) Did anything happen to you while you were unconscious that you remember, don't remember, or suspect? For all you know, your not the you you think you are or the you you were before you went unconscious. You may not even know it. How much time has gone by, you think, does it agree with reality? Shaggy_Shaggs 01-03-06, 09:46 AM	The interaction with Cyrn and Jeserel, and how it shaped your outlook, could make things interesting. Paladins are after all one of the extreme alignments, quite out of balance, and rangers could be thought of as a more martial version of druids. Was there a lot of sibling rivalry there? Did you get along great despite the differences in outlook and approach? Did Jeserel and Cyrn influence how you like (or dislike, or something else) other people of similar professions in the present day?
Morka 01-03-06, 11:56 AM	All great suggestions so far. There's something weird in your background. When your village was attacked, you was made prisonner. Did they caught your wolf companion too, or did he follow the caravan on his own? Take a look at the links in my signature, especially the ones about "Background in X Questions", it might help you focus on your character.
pumpkinnosegirl20 01-03-06, 07:54 PM	Thank you everyone for giving me something to think about for my background. It has really given me something to think about. And as it is that her brother and sister are not with her I have decided that her Cyrn has joined King Dorlanisti and Jeserel has ran off with a guy from the Tavern. As for everything else I'm still working on that. When I am or think I am finished with her I will repost and hopefully you can let me know what you think. :)
