This Urban Druid lives in the city. Nobody knows his real name anymore, but he his called “The Unfindable”. That’s probably due to his Wildshapes, with which he can assume many a form and A Thousand Faces that can alter his appearance. His name used to be Strandare the Many and he was a successful adventurer and a druid of renown, but a chose the quiet life as a vagabond instead of the rich life and over time he managed to transform his Druidic skills to be useful in an urban environment. He is friendly and good-hearted, he doesn’t like to expose himself and people are a little afraid of him, because he can be gone with the blink of an eye. Strandara will know everything about the town you place him in; he knows every building inside out, every secret passage, every trap. Because he can get to hard-to-reach spots due to his Wildshapes, he also knows those places that most people can’t get to.

The only thing that bothers me a bit is that some of the druidic abilities somewhat lost there use or strength, but it is a lovely NPC

I like the idea.

I would find it very entertaining for an awakened dire bear to pick up some ranks in druid and move among the cities and use his animal shape ability to become human and "mingle" with the locals.

But that is just me.

I dont even know if it is possible.
