| MikEye06-23-07, 12:40 AM | Hey guys, my DM suggested I make a character in the Purple Dragons of Cormyr for his Forgotten Realms campaign. I made a warblade, but he doesn't act like a warblade at all (very subtle, not so much a glory seeker, I simply just like the way the class operates) He uses basicaly the Iron Heart and the Stone Dragon styles... and I need a backround. I don't want anything about him to be too out of the ordinary except the part about him getting warblade training. He is a human, age 19. any ideas anyone? Thanks Mikeye |

He works in the background and loves to help his friends/allies/comrades Since he's young maybe he's got a mentor in the purple dragons He aids others if possible than trying to do it all himself. He's a good listener and often asks/waits for guidance from older allies/purple dragons |

| BroadStreetBully06-24-07, 02:43 AM | personally, i'd need a bit more to work with, such as a basic background of who you'd like him to be and/or something more specific for his personality. i'd hate to write 4 paragraphs on why he swore vengeance on his father's killer (a man with six fingers on his right hand) if what you really want is a low-life street thug who was redeemed and learned to walk the paths of righteousness & benevolence. i know you want something that's unique, but it really should be your brand of unique and not mine. |

I wanted my character to join the cormyr army just as an occupational thing, but how can you incorporate something like learning stone dragon and iron heart without being a warblade previously or being selected as a special candidate for it? Because I still want him to be like a rank and file purple dragon knight that doesn't stand out much... that's all I could really muster... just that general frame work. The only previous action, my DM says my character has seen was a battle where the king of cormyr was slain by a dragon, but I am not sure if that is canon or not. I'd also like to say he is reserved and he is in another country trying to investigate an army being erected... so he lays low and has no allies, really |
