Ok, starting an Eberron campaign at level 2 and the idea of a warforged swashbuckler or scout sounds great to me. We will be starting in/around Sharn.

The only idea i have so far is that he was stolen by The Jungle Boys in the kings forest on a raid from a caravan going to sharn, and served the Tree Viper as guard/watchman/raider for a few years til he was captured by one of the knight rangers and is now paying off his crimes.

Im having trouble comming up with his creation background and what he served as and what kind of personality he does have. I think the name Watch is fitting for him though. I like the idea of having him as just true neutral for alignment too. I just dont want to have him as a stereotypical warforged it seems in that he's mindless.

Hmm warforged are a bit tricky. If he's a sout it's a good idea to make him cautios and careful in his enviroment and his friends. He could be like the space marines from Aliens a super competant proffessional or he could be a confused and bitter veteran who feels he no longer has a place in his world watch the ending for Rambo one for inspiration. I like the idea of him being an ordinary laborer with a battle scarred past who simply can't put his experinces behind and adventures to finally put it behind him.

Not a true background, just an idea.

What if he was meeber of a small forest unit, only scouts, rogues & rangers. Suddenly, the unit is attacked by a pack of wolves (or other animals). He is the only survivor, since he is not "meat".

Well i decided his stats and he ends up with 16/13/14/14/13/6 so he's definatly not charismatic. I think im going to play him to be a little vein but not a recluse and he's always looking to make himself look better, wether it be through getting things carved into his body or getting shiny and/or new armor plating to try and look appealing to others.
