So I'm not the best roleplayer around but I'm not the worst either. I like the battle and storyline aspects of D&D more than the "acting" part.

But, getting to the point, I'm playing a super strong and durable Warforged using a fullblade, (think Berserk) and I literally have no idea how to roleplay him since I've never used a Warforged.

Has anyone else run into this and has some suggestions??

Did you try to talk in a robot voice?? Did you try to stay emotionless?? Did you have any real goals or were they just reflections of how you were "created?"

Any tips will help alot.

Warforged have little or no concept of time.
They tend to judge 'when' it is by observation alone (it's gotten dark, or the 'meatbags' are all eating, or whatever).

The film 'Short Circuit' (cheesy, I know, but bare with me) may offer some ideas on how an artificial sentient mind may view 'life'.

The Warforged I play has a very skewed view of life and death and believes some of the hype about Warforged not having souls.
In particular, 'he' has no problem destroying other constructs / Warforged, adopting the "No-one mourns the breaking of a chair" attitude. He also believes (rightly or wrongly) that Constructs (including Warforged) cannot be held accountable for their actions, only their Masters can "You cannot blame a hammer for bruising your thumb".

Hope this helps

My take on Warforged is that they would probably take on the aspects of their alignments very literally to the extreme since they do not have experience growing up as a child to temper their opinions and reactions.

If you take that approach, take the PHB description on alignment and have that applied to every situation you encounter, and judge everything as either right or wrong based on that principle.

Try the link below to view my very 1st contribution to the character development board on making a psicrystal character and her emotions - there were some interesting suggestions and questions from players that you can ask of your warforged to help flesh him out.

You could also go as the Ironman in the Wizard of Oz, and going in a quest to find yourself an heart.

I think that whilst it may still be slightly skewed (He was originally a Human after all, Warforged never were), perhaps Robocop is one of the better options. He starts out perfectly mechanical and then starts recovering memories, so he starts acting less rationally, more human. Maybe the Warforged is slightly 'broken' so he sees events involving a mother and her child, for example, and attempts to look at the events from the perspective of one of them, gaining some insight into human activity and behaviour, and finding it somewhat addictive.

"Why do you humans acquire suicidal attachements to those they cannot save? Is it possible that this is the highly sought emotion they call 'friendship?"

Alternatively, what about an Asimov approach. The Warforged has a very clear set of protocols that it can't break. Then after reaching almost total destruction (Negative HP or 0 HP), it's protocols start breaking down from irreparable damage, and it starts questioning everything it does.

"Why should I save that human? Not doing so would violate the First Law, but in saving him he will only attempt to destroy me and harm other humans, a violation of both the Zeroth and Third Laws"

You could take it the other way in this aspect, make it break and have it's protocols be completely consuming, like the evolution of the laws in VICKY from I, Robot.

"The First Law states that I cannot allow a Human to come to harm, I must therefore prevent them from partaking of any actions that would lead to such events. This must be correct, my logic is undeniable" - Communist-style Warforged

"The Second Law states that I must obey any order given me by Humans. This therefore should supercede the other laws with the use of the term 'any order', I therefore must obey any and all orders given to me by Humans, and Humans alone. This must be correct, my logic is undeniable" - Servant-style Warforged

"The Third Law states that I must defend myself unless it conflicts with the First or Second Laws. If I do not interfere with any actions and cease taking orders from all non-Humans, I will never be in a position to come to harm, and thus may function effectively. This must be correct, my logic is undeniable" - Pacifist-style Warforged
