| King_of_the_squirrels09-05-05, 09:27 PM | In my new campaign, one of my player's characters is a neutral elven shugenja from an arctic land. I am not using the rokugan setting and this player is having trouble thinking of a good reason to adventure, seeing as how he has never really roleplayed before  What would be a good reason for this character to adventure, or a good motivation. |
| Shar_Narishma09-05-05, 11:31 PM | well, seeing as he is a water shugenja, and therefor must enjoy/love/worship water(depending on how you do shugenja in your campaign), maybe he wished to experience the cleansing touch of water from other lands, or maybe, you as a DM, could give him a reason such as the water from his native artic land has been corrupted by magic, and he is leaving to figure out wth is going on. |
