Orzo Burrowarden 12-09-03, 06:53 PM	A young gnome hair thick and matted Green Eyes peering from behind bangs that hide them like a creature in the night. Hair being push down by what looks like the head of a giant insect. the rest of his armor shines like that of the hide of a massive beetle. In his fist A long spear tripointed like the trident of mythological god. In his other fist the reigns of a large wart covered toad, obviously his mount. The large swamp trees Beckon to him and tell the story of his life growing up in this swamp, and their leaves wave goodbye to him in their breeze. 1. any name ideas? (gnome and toad) 2. class?(es) 3. any more of the story
PhaedrusXY 12-09-03, 07:36 PM	Sounds like a druid to me. If you want, you could add in levels of a druidic prestige class, but they aren't necessary. If you use 3.5 rules, you just need to take martial proficiency: trident. If you use 3.0, you're hosed by the stupid limiations on druidic weapons.

Morka 12-10-03, 08:32 AM	"Bubble" could be a good name for the toad. Background? Two general ideas: 1) He lives alone in the swamp (perhaps once with his mother and/or father, but he fall alone long ago). Good for a druid background. 2) He is member of an entire gnome clan living in the middle of the swamp. He could be some kind of ranger patrolling the borders. I imagine him with some gadgets (boots of swiming, mask of breathing...)
