It's called a tiefling. Look it up, should be in your Monster Manual or on www.opengamingfoundation.org

Oops, here I'll try this again *sigh*.

It depends on the level you are starting at. Half-feind (and half-celestial for that matter) has a level adjustment of +4 which makes a 1st level human half-feind the equivalent of a regular 5th level human. (Half-feind is the template used for both half-demons and half-devils)

Also realise that it is fairly resonable for a DM to not use templates esp. for Player Characters. A template, esp. one so obvious and extreme as half-fiend, would complicate the game, esp if the party was supposed to be good and there was a half-devil. Then if there is a paladin in the party that just throse a rench in the whole thing as they would most likely end up like a fighter with no bonus feats and some extra clas skills, because they assosiated with some questionable people and lost all their abilities (this is a big problem since the validity of the fighter class is currently under question, but lets skip over this). Such a party member (as the fiend that is) would also greatly influence the reactions NPC's had to the party and the problems will keep on mounting (unless the party is evil, in which case this isn't a problem so much).

If you do convince him (or was it a her) to let you play the hlaf-devil then, asumming it is as I think it is you have some options. I not saying these are your only choices, but this is what I would consider.

The half-outsider templates (any of them really) have very high ability bonuses for just about every ability so they are good for almost anything in that regard. This makes them good for multiclassing (esp a human with one of these) and they really pack some heavy artilery when they do. I would consider being a cleric, a sorcerer/fighter, or fighter/wizard. Inly bother with a couple levels of fighter as you'd really only benifit from a couple levels. Actually though Im not fond of the class I would consider barbarian instead of fighter. A raging fireball throwing hell spawned child would scare the s out of anyone.;)

Oooh! I forgot about the teifling. Silly me.:D

Yes. The teifling is far more likely to pass with the DM, would be much more workable all around and require less work to make. Teiflings make good monks, or rogues.

*Edit adding...*

Also they have a much lower level adjustment only +1.

If you are playing Fearun teifling is right in the campaign setting with the rest of the races (teilfling is a race insead of a template so much easier to work with than half-feind)

I think that the idea of a tiefling is going to do my DM to consider the matter twice.

However i can't decide what class is going to fit more to a character like this.I like classes such as fighters and wizard/sorcerer because they are very useful in combats.

The background that i have in mind is that
"An old woman, who was the chief of village(which suffer from the rages of a group of brutal Orcs) knew that she was about to die while she hadn't any child to come after her to lead the village to a safe place. But one day a powerful Necromancer came to the village to stay for a night due to the storm. When the woman learned about him he went to meet him in order to ask him a favor. The woman asked if he could help her and he started doing some strange things as well as speaking in an unknown langouage.Suddenly every sound ecsept from the rain stopped and while a thunder cut the dark sky a fearsome Devil appeared on the magic circle that the Necromancer had formed. The devil told to the woman that he could give her what she want but not without profit. So the Devil took her soul and a part of his own soul , he ''mixed'' them and with his dark powers a baby appeared. The woman had its wish granted but the boy had the devils blood in his body except from that of her maother. The next day some villagers gound the dead women as well as the baby and decited to raise it although it was something strange to his eyes."
What do you thing? It's good enough?

It's okay, but cliché.

Also, why a necromancer? He didn't do no animatin', he conjured an extraplanar creature.

Also, why not just pick human race and change it purely in flavor (horns, useless wings, soulless etc.)?

I just want to make something special.
Most of players play with some certain races, but i thing that this makes every game same in a way with another.Every party is a combination of Human, Elfs, Half-orcs and Dwarves in most cases. This is why i want something spesial.
What do you thing?

Your right about the clise.
Can you suggest anything else?

I don't know. I kind of like the old-school dramatic flare, and the mixed souls is very differant from the standard hal-fiends/teiflings I've seen. I'd say go with it! :D
