What MAgic Item Should I ask For [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-20-04, 10:10 AM In the game i am playing in at the moment the party has been offered payment of a magical item upto the value of 2000gp each. My problem is i don't know what to ask for. I am Level 8 (wizard 5 / Harper Mage 3). I all ready have a head band of intellect +2, a Handy HaverStack, ring of protection +1, cloak of resistance +3 and slippers of spider climb. Can you please give me some advice.

- ring of wizardry
- wands (up to 3rd level spell, 9th level caster)
- staves of charming, fire, swarming insects, healing (for the 2 lasts, you'll have to pay for the difference)
- rod of metamagic
- ioun stones (pearly white: regenerate; pale lavander: absorb spells; combinaison of 2 +2ability enhancement (DEX & CON))
- golem manual?
