| Unleash03-28-04, 12:39 AM | So , what does happen to a devout evil aligned character who had chosen a mean guy like Bane as his patron deity and who has served him faithfully until his demise ? I'm currently in an evil group, we lost members who revered Mask and Bane. What's happening to them until they get ressurected ? If your exemples are taken from rulebooks or cannon literature, plz let me know from where :) ! |

The thing is, powerful evil mortals tend to stay alive until they get killed by someone else. when they _do_ get killed, that shows they are inferior ... and no deity wants losers hanging around cramping his style :P I suppose its also possible you might pull a Black Mage and take over the place, but most deicides in D&D seem to do the job while they are still alive, or at least not quite dead. in any case, i wouldnt put any big wagers on that happy outcome. |
