What to do next. Need Help [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-27-07, 05:40 PM I have a character concept for an upcoming Eberron campaign. I want to play a Warforged Bard and work toward the Evangelist PrC. I want the character to have the over the top preacher attitude, but have as little to do with the actual clergy as possible. The game master wants us to provide a rough character build up to level fifteen to twenty. I have no idea what class levels to take after the evangelist. I am not very familiar with Eberron setting books. Are there interesting\useful classes along these lines I should look at or should I take more bard levels?

I'll share anyway. So I am thinking Bard5/Reforged3(found that last night)/Evangelist 5/Virtuoso 7. Personality will be similar to the robot preacher on Futurama, the fire and brimstone sort that attempts to lead Warforged and maybe intelligent undead away from violence. I am slightly worried about my combat capability in the mid levels because I don't think I can totally avoid it.

If anyone does have suggestions that would make for better roleplaying let me know.

03-01-07, 02:33 PM It sounds to me like you're looking more for advice on how to optimize your character, rather than advice on roleplaying. You might want to visit the Character Optimization board instead.
