Hi, Happy New Years! :pint:

I'm in some what of a dilema right now. See I have a 5th lvl fighter right now who next lvl will become a thayan knight. Now i plan to go the full 5 lvls into the class however i don't know what i should do after i finish with the thayan knight class. I was thinking maybe a ranger or rogue or even just finishing the rest of my lvls as a fighter. Now I was looking at Complete Warrior and I saw the hexblade class and this made me think; would the red wizards like it if i was a thayan knight with magical abilities or would that go against them?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanx. :D

Well, as a fighter type, you're just a meatshield to them. Especially if you do the Thayan Knight route. I think they would see it as you getting 'uppity' if you started developing magic powers. Perhaps go into a PrC that gives new fighting abilities? Exotic Weapon Master from Complete Warrior could be fun, especially if you like the spiked chain, or the doublesword, or some other exotic weapon. You might also consider one of the fighter PrCs from Book of Vile Darkness.

I think another PrC would be better. What weapons can you use? Depending on what you have Weapon Focus in Divine Champine might be for you.

But if you do want to take another class I'd advise against Hexblade. I can't see the Red Wizards being too fond of that power considering how simler it is to sorecery.
