Mr_Bigglesworth 10-25-04, 08:06 PM	Hi all, I need to create a thief guild boss (NPC) that resembles Scarface. He's in the business of dealing magical wares in a city where magical items are outlawed. From his point of view, he's simply a business man, his motives are not necessarily evil. If needs be however, he will spare no resources in eliminating anyone who threatens his business. I think that makes him... Lawful Neutral perhaps (lawful because Scarface lives by principles such as honor and loyalty, even though he's an outlaw)? I have yet to bang out what type of character class(es) he would be or what his stats are though. Being a sucessful leader in the trade, he should have moderate to high intellegence and wisdom. What do you ppl think he should be? I was considering either a Master Thrower or a Dervish...
Dezzador 10-27-04, 05:01 PM	Well thought about this all day and came up with this: Your Alignment thought is right on BUT if you remember he was losing it towards the end and went more CN then LN. So it depends on what tyoe of Tony you want before or after he established his empire. I would do this AL LN with chaotic tendencies. As far as class I would go Rogue with high intel concentrating on Sense motive(for tony's keen sense of knowing character of a person) and diplomacy(just because he has to deal with a lot of red tape). I would also throw in a lvl of Barbarian for Tony's lack of patience and erupts into a rage. (It works great with his character type think of the last scene) . I would look at Knife fighter or inivsible blade. Tony is a experience knife fighter think of the scene in America town underneath the 95 express ramp. He came outta nowhere and Killed the lawyer. Assassin works nice to since he was hired to do it.
