so, er how does a 100% or more real mirror image work?

is it,

i cast mirror image at 100% real/shadowy
we cast twin/split/max ray of spell
you are hit by full effects from both casters?

if not, then?

Considering how a Mirror Image spell isn't evocation, conjuration (creation), or conjuration (summoning), you can't make a Shadow Mirror Image.

Even so, all you'll get are *very* illusory mirror images. You won't get something better than Time Duplicate (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/spells/timeDuplicate.htm).

I feel like Carnac on the Johnny Carson show but ...

"The answer is : Killer Gnome"

{ ... audience titters ... }

{ Ed McMahon :confused: ... Johnny :devil: }

He reaches for a paring knife, slits the envelope, opens it with a florish and ... linky (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=655556)

The Carnac reference is because I have no idea what he wants. I'm just mind reading.

You can't make 100%+ real versions of illusion spells. A 150% real Summon Monster VII, for example, has 150% normal hit points, and deals 150% normal damage to anyone who makes the save against the spell. The Killer Gnome is possibly the only caster who actually wants low save DCs. Basically, any numeric effects are multiplied by "reality %" for a target when the taget makes the save.

Except:

1) Those aren't versions of illusion spells, they're illusionary versions of conjuration (creation/summoning) or evocation spells.

2) The OP was saying "If I have 100%+ real shadow illusions a la the shadowcraft mage, are my Mirror Images (which don't even benefit from it) suddenly treated as clones, so I can double up on my spells?"

Tempest: Please note my first sentence. My second, on the other hand, addresses what effect 150% reality has on spells where it is possible to gain it. Unclear expression, and I'll concede point 2 (which would be horribly abusive if you happened to have 8 images up), which works by my definition anyway. If there was some way to get "quasi-real" Mirror Image spell effects, a 150% one would actually have 50% more images if someone made their save. That would be bizarre, to say the least. Although the entire idea of making part-illusory duplicates of illusion spells is pretty screwy to begin with.

ya, ya, the op was flawed.

and ill assume im also wrong about being able to reschool a spell, since i cant find how..

umm ...

"im also wrong about being - wrong about being - able to reschool a spell." ;)

Limited Wish and Wish make ~any spell Universal.
Bend Reality and Reality Revision make ~any spell into a Clairsentience power, then a Divination via transparency.
Miracle makes ~any spell Evocation.

So you can get a 150% real Mirror Image... :confused:

Shadowcraft Mage with Arcane Disciple (Luck) turns a Silent Image Heightened to 10th (8th level slot) into a Miracle (180% real), which he uses to duplicate a Mirror Image, which is 180% real. Anyone making the save to disbelieve finds another 4 images appear for every 5 there were originally. Go figure. Still, it's a save DC 20+Int mod, so making it's not that easy.

I find the idea of a hyper real shadow infused illusion of an illusion of you to be more then a bit confusing.

becuase I also find the idea amusing you could possibly use a hyper real miracle to mimic the spell clone if you could find a domain with it or something and then when you died YOU would become an illusion! its the worlds most zen character ever!

Not only would you become an illusion, but when you accept this, you become more real than reality. Very, very Zen.

How about an illusory Polymorph Any Object? Anyone who realised you weren't really a dragon takes 180% damage?
