| Captain Binkle03-16-04, 09:20 AM | Captain Waldo Binkle just sailed into the port city two days previous. His ship was being repaired so he decided to take some time for himself. The one-eyed gnomish captain sipped at his pint mug of mead with indiffernce. The commotion in the small inn was little, if any. A group of men and half elves were playing very heated game of cards in the far corner. The captain would have played, if he hadn't seen one of the men hide a card in his sleave. (This is an open post. So, let's have some fun at the Golden Ale Inn) |
| Lucky Leprechaun03-16-04, 12:50 PM | The luckiest leprechaun of all was playing his fiddle on open Bard night. When a tall fellow walked in. Well tall for Leprechaun anyway :P for it be none other than a one eyed Gnome sea faring captain. “A hoy mate how be ye a vasting O’ captain of the way fairer seas?" |
| Captain Binkle03-17-04, 08:29 AM | "The sea is, as ever the fairest thing in my eye, wee lad," the gnomish captain said thowing a few coins into Lucky's hat. "Play me a fine song, so that i may sit in solice this night." |
| Exiled_Beauty03-17-04, 11:45 PM | *A young girl dressed in dark blue silk robes stride into the Inn just then, humming to herself and brushing back her hair before smiling at everyone in the tavern.* "Um.. hello," she says timidly. ooc: can i join? |
| Captain Binkle03-18-04, 08:15 AM | (anyone can enter the Golden Ale Inn) "Come fair lady, have a drink and share a tale," the gnomish captain said to the lady in blue. |
| Exiled_Beauty03-18-04, 10:09 AM | *Exili grins and makes her way over to the man.* "Mind if I sit here with you?" she asks, with a warm smile. "I don't have many exciting tales to tell," she adds, looking down. |
| Captain Binkle03-19-04, 08:48 AM | "You can still sit and drink, can't you? Well then sit and partake in one of my stories," Captain Binkle said getting comfortible. "There I was captured by a savage tribe of orcs from the Severed Tounge. They were about to scrifice me to their demonic god of disorder, when from out of nowhere came these two barbarians. They cleared out the orc and saved me. The brothers took me to their tribe. Where they explained that I had helped them back to their home. And that's how I became their chief." |
| Exiled_Beauty03-19-04, 04:36 PM | *Exili's eyes light up with delight.* "Oh, that's sounds frightening, but you were saved thank goodness. And you're a chief?" she asks, leaning forward a bit in her chair. |
| Sliver_Over_Mind03-24-04, 12:01 AM | A young girl walks in, she is in rags, but quickly goes up to the bar, and buys new clothes. "finally. New clothes, I want a whole week in these rags." (this is what she looks like approximately. http://www.mediocreminds.com/hosted/sc2/images/talim.jpg) She then looks at the bar man and says "do you have any good beer? I really need to forget my life for a while. Your strongest stuff." she then takes her beer, and sits down, spotting captain Binkle, she stands up, walks over and says "wow, haven't seen any of your kind in this realm yet." "what's your story?" |
| Captain Binkle03-30-04, 07:49 AM | "Well after i helped.....", the gnomish captain stopped suddenly noticing the half-naked woman. "Uh..... where was I?" |
| Captain Binkle03-30-04, 07:58 AM | "I'm captain of the Sea Talon. One of the finest schooners in all the land. My stories are long and my adventures are many. Care for an ale, m'lady," offered Captain Waldo Binkle. |
| Exiled_Beauty03-30-04, 07:49 PM | *Exili blinks as the captain eye balls the attractive lady.* |
| Sliver_Over_Mind03-30-04, 10:36 PM | "my name is Angua" Angua says as she sits down, "I need to drain way the night in ale, beer, wine, and stories" "I have spent to long away from my home to remember things" she says as she stares into oblivion. then drains her cup, throughly enjoying both texture, and the affect that had begun to take place on her mind. |
| Captain Binkle03-31-04, 08:23 AM | Two human barbarians walk up to the table where Captain Binkle and the others are sitting. "Captain, their are matters on the ship that require your attention," one of the barbarian brothers. "What sort of matters, Thorn" the irritated sea captain said. "It is about Talyan's father," Thorn said. The gnomish captain stopped suddenly. "The bounty?" The other barbarian nodded his head. "I am most gracious for our time spent together. All of you. But I must be leaving," Captain Waldo Binkle said with a bow and takes his leave. ((Feel free to continue the post. I would enjoy seeing what happens in my absence)) |
| Lucius Brandyhill04-01-04, 07:53 AM | just testing......... |
| Exiled_Beauty04-02-04, 07:09 PM | *Exili watches as he leaves briskly, a bit perplexed. But then she turns to listen to Angua and getting a glass of sweet wine herself.* |
| Sliver_Over_Mind04-03-04, 12:15 AM | Angua orders more wine, and paying the bill as she gets the wine. "I will tell you of my history, for it is long, and complicated, and good for disposing of a night, especially when drunk." "tell me where you want me to start, the begining, the middle, the end, or proceed backwards from the end to the middle to the begining, it is so much easier to tell a story when you know what order it is desired to be heard." |
| Exiled_Beauty04-04-04, 09:15 PM | *Exili smiles warmly.* "Well, when did your life become the most hectic?" she asks politely, leaning back in her chair. |
| Sliver_Over_Mind04-05-04, 11:51 PM | "the day I met Izid, reality artist, he can fold space-time." "we were young and in love, but, eventually things went wrong." |
| Exiled_Beauty04-06-04, 07:32 PM | "A reality artist? Interesting. But how could things go wrong while in love?" she asks, making eye contact with her. |
| Sliver_Over_Mind04-08-04, 11:12 PM | "that is the strange one." Angua stated "It started when his parents died, he gradually faded, I would not stick around for him. Ever. for I was always the free spirit" "never bound, for in that time..." Angua took a huge swig of her ale, killing an additional 7000 brain cells. "people like me almost never are." she seemed to get distracted "what kind of moon is up right now anyway?" |
| Exiled_Beauty04-08-04, 11:15 PM | "I believe only a sliver of a moon, milady," she replies, peering out a nearby window, "why?" |
| Captain Binkle07-13-04, 09:53 PM | It's been nearly five years since Captain Binkle made port at Davinport let alone set foot in the Golden Ale Inn. As Captain Binkle walked in the pub he recieved a different welcome then he remembered. Instead of the usual cheers of his arrival. Instead his arrival was met with a glum gaze from the once enthusiatic barman. Likewise thoughout the inn everyone had sad and depressing looks on there faces. As he continued though the inn he realized that the air had a bitter chill. He began to move to the door when a putrid hand grasped his wrist. He tried to draw his rapier but another undead hand prevented it from happening. |
| Naiilo07-13-04, 10:07 PM | The open tune gave him a headache. The happy atmosphere turned his stomach as his eyes scanned the tavern. He was dressed in a black leather vest with straps misplaced upon it's surface. Black leggings ran down his legs and over his black boots. A long silken black cloak hung from a clasp, silver and gold, at his neck to cascade down his back, swaying with the gentle breeze from the open door. Upon his waist hung two brilliant yet sinister looking daggers, and a third, visible on his lower thigh, had was crafted from what seemed like red, small, spikes. He was pulling tight his black leather gloves as he strode into the bar. Searching for the darkest corner, he sat himself at a table in the far back of the place, pulling open a scroll and studying over it. |
| Devourer of Dreams07-27-04, 08:54 PM | The door flies open. A figure concealed in a red cloak walks into the room. He glances at the black-cloaked man in the farthest corner. "Found you at last," he says. Two osyluths enter through the still-open door."Attack!" he orders. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Five out of four people have trouble with fractions. |
