Hi guys:
Let's do a
1° Fighter
2° Fighter
3° Fighter
4° Fighter
5° Wizard
6° Wizard
7° Abjurant Champion
8° Abjurant Champion
9° Abjurant Champion
10° Abjurant Champion
11° Abjurant Champion
12° Initiate of the Sevenfoild Veil
13° Initiate of the Sevenfoild Veil
14° Initiate of the Sevenfoild Veil
15° Initiate of the Sevenfoild Veil
16° Initiate of the Sevenfoild Veil
17° Initiate of the Sevenfoild Veil
18° Initiate of the Sevenfoild Veil
19° Arcane Archer
20° Arcane Archer

Now use a purple and a blue interdiction. The first one will protect you from something about everything. The second one is the first that must be destroyed and can be destroyed only by a magic missle. Now cast shield, that is always extended becouse of you abjurant champion levels, and protects you from magic missles.
If you enter an antimagic field you purple interdiction will not be destroyed, becouse there is still your blue interdiction. And even if you are now withuot "shield", you don't need it becouse no magic missles could exist in the field.

Yours,

Yup. Iot7FV is broken as all hell.

Why are you giving up 6 caster levels to Fighter/Arcane Archer? The usual build is Wiz (Abj) 3/Master Specialist 10/Iot7FV 7, shuffled to get Initiate ASAP. Full casting, some nice specials from MS, and your invulnerability trick. If you want to engage in melee, take Arcane Devotee (War) and make scrolls and/or a staff of Divine Power.

Sorry, what i "War", of the arcane devotee?
Owerver, does this trick works? Even after YOU?? Yuppi!

Sorry, what i "War", of the arcane devotee?

Most likely, the War domain.

Most likely, the War domain.

We have a winner!

Arcane Devotee, choosing the War domain, lets you make and use scrolls/wands of Divine Power. The only thing Divine Power references for your caster level are duration and temporary hit points, so a CL 7 wand should do nicely for the most part.

And you still haven't answered my question. Why put Fighter and Arcane Archer in there? Abjurant Champion I understand, but why lose CLs?

There is one flaw. A creature with natural weapons who saves against both veils can attack you, but he won't be able to do it often. Another point is that you can do this, but only for up to 7 minutes at a time, 4 times a day. Then you run out of Wardings.

Yes, callix has shot the right point. I cannot often use this trick.
I don't know the matter of these fighter levels... I really don't remember XD
Maby are requisite for some classes?

My guess is that you put in the Fighter levels to meet the prerequisites for Abjurant Champion sooner, and you put in the Arcane Archer levels for the Imbue Arrow ability. Probably not the best way to go about it, though. In a 20-level build, just a straight Wizard will eventually meet the BAB prerequisite for Abjurant Champion. As for Arcane Archer... Imbue Arrow can be a nice ability in the right build, but it's not exactly a good capstone ability, and if you're going to put it in an optimization build, you probably ought to have a reason for it to be in there.

Yeah, I took the Fighter levels to have sooner the BAB for the AC. I think imbue arrow is good if we are completely sure behind our interdictons, and we want to attack our enemies...Don't you think so?

Could someone who's more familiar with the I7V explain whether or not you can fire arrows through your own veils? I'm pretty sure a Prismatic Sphere blocks them from both sides, but I'm not sure I understand exactly how the veils work.

Iot7FV's wardings all have an "active side" and an "inactive side". Objects, creatures and effects can pass freely from the "inside" to the "outside", but not vice-versa. More precisely, only incoming effects are affected by an Initiate's Personal or Area warding.

I still think 9th level spells are more important than early Abjurant Champion and Arcane Archer. Maybe if you weren't giving up four caster levels for it.

I think I'd rather go Wizard 5/War Weaver 5/Uncanny Trickster 3(apply to WW)/IotSV 7. Hmm, I wonder if it would work with a Beguiler base.

Well, I've never seen before the war weaver, but now I understand, is a really good buffer.
Maybe... Wizard 5/War Weaver 5/IotSv 7/Abjurant Champion 2
Why the uncanny trickster? And how can you apply it to a class in wich you have yet all levels?
However, classes are not so important. The point is that invulneribility works, even not for a great time.
We could even use a LoP's dirty trick and do a Wizard/Beholder Mage and have in 10 levels 9 levels spells...

War Weaver lets you cast spells through the Eldritch Tapestry with a spell level no higher than your War Weaver level, so a level 5 War Weaver could cast up to level 5 spells through the Eldritch Tapestry. Uncanny Trickster is being used to increase the maximum spell level.
