| Dakar Fireform11-27-03, 12:14 PM | A small dwarf comes trotting down the street, humming a tune of war. The big axe on his back, and the many scars in his red-bearded face shows that he aint no novice in battle himself. "This' lookin' nice!" The dwarf looks at the fine inn. Flute and the boot. He hadn't ever heard of it, but ale is ale, and food is food. Food and ale means customers, and customers means gold. This is indeed good. He put his bag down, and finds a little wooden brick. He throws it next to the inn, and without any ceremonial, it begins to grow. It becomes as big as the inn, and the two buildings stands door to door. The sign says "Blacksmith", and the door beneath it is wide open. "This' lookin good!" He entered the building and made sure the forge was heated, and all his work set on the walls, before making his way to the inn for some ale. |
| kulideb11-27-03, 04:25 PM | Hogarth was very grumpy! Kulideb had told him that some one new had moved in next door and as she had caught him drinking the profits he was to run some food round as a welcome! "I'm a dwarf not an errand boy!" He turned the corner and looked at the sign. "Blacksmith..emm.." He walked in and saw a talking bird he almost dropped the large pie he was carrying and the small keg of ale. "well met, these are from Kulideb..." he put the pie and keg down. he backed away slowly, then made a dash back to the inn. (( HI!)) |
| Dakar Fireform11-27-03, 04:27 PM | A colourful parrot stood on the desk, and when it saw the dwarf it chirped. "Me be drinkin' keggers!" And then it made a motion indicating the inn. "But me dwarf all right!" And it made the gesture again. |
| Dakar Fireform11-30-03, 02:18 PM | Dakar enters the inn with the knight and Hogarth. He walks up to the desk, turn to the two, and folds his arms over his chest impatiently. "So do ye want it good, or do ye want it great?" |
| kulideb12-01-03, 04:38 AM | "Dwarfs only do great!" said Hogarth with a grin. He looked around the smithy avoiding the bird, never trust a talking bird he thought to him self! |
| ThePreacher12-01-03, 08:51 AM | "Well, my good friend, 'tis depends on your own judgement" Lord lonthar smiled and his right hand reached behind his back. From beneath his cloak he took out a large leather package, tied by leather straps. He put the package on the desk of the business house, and untied the straps, he then unfolded the leather package, revealing infront of everyone a large red plate like object. The red "plate" was covered with scales. "This, I took from him, along with his other gift to me." He said and put his hand on the large scar on his chest, where his platemail was slashed through. |
| HeavensRose12-03-03, 02:56 PM | A feeling of anxiousness and fear suddenly surges through Lord Lonthar. A small hint of pain in his left arm near the shoulder rushes through him as well. |
| ThePreacher12-03-03, 04:02 PM | <Uggghhh... what is this? ... I have this strange feeling, like something....> "Excuse me master dwarf, but I must depart now... I shall return for this... be it in the form I gave it to you, or as a product of your craftsmanship, farewell for now!" The knight rushed out of the building. Standing infront of the inn, with his back to it's walls, Lonthar looks around... Looking for someone... <Where are you m'lady?...> He rushes into the inn. |
| HeavensRose12-03-03, 11:41 PM | {ooc: Meet me in the Inn Lord Lonthar ;) } |
| Dakar Fireform12-06-03, 04:35 PM | (Sorry for my absence. Had to make a sudden trip elsewhere) "Whoa! Wyrm's be bigger givers than I thought! Ye got yerself some tremendous armory here! Ill be me an honour to make yer a nice coating out of this!" Dakar said exictedly, and moved to the back of the large smithy. Dakar found his steel shape, and then began the long tedious work with melting and customizing the indestructible metal. Several sweating hours went by, sitting by the white hot forge and watching the proccess. Finally, the dwarf could carefully pour the substance into the form. Tired, Dakar went to the sleep, and in the early morning he found the forgery considerably cooled, though still too hot to touch. He prepared his finest hammer, and found the scales he had not melted, so that he could use them for a spectacular design he had in mind. Then, hours later, he opened the form and pulled out the armour, which was crude to look at, but unbendable. He began to shape it in to perfection, adding the shoulderpads and arm lenghts to it, and bending the edges dull, not sharp. He put a leather strap on the side of it, with carefully forged holders, so that the armoury could not be burned open. At last, he took the remaining scales, a handul or so, and weighed them in his hand, contented with the light, yet calming feeling of the dragonskin. He decided to wait for the young knight before making the sign, so that the knight could choose his symbol himself. "Knightie!! Could' ye be pullin' yerself from ye girl a momen' and come visit me here?" he yelled, hopefully loud enough to be heard in the in. |
| HeavensRose12-06-03, 05:22 PM | Rose walks into the shop with a smile and a new dress on that Kulideb had let her use. She looks for the man who owned the shop. Walking to the counter she starts speaking as though he would hear her. (She doesn't know if he will or not .... not sure where Dakar is right now.) "Excuse me sir? I had a couple of questions to ask you..."She says this a bit loud to help it echo out into the back if he was still there. |
| Dakar Fireform12-06-03, 07:07 PM | "Wat'ta ya want, milady?" the dwarf asks, pondering what business a woman has in a smithy. |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 01:24 AM | She smiles to the dwarf, "I had a few questions for you. Could you tell me what exactly you do and how you got to entering this business? I am curious for I have never heard of a blacksmith, save the time Lord Lonthar... the one who came to you not long ago ....said something about it." |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 03:32 AM | The dwarf smiles proudly, happy that a fair lady is so interested in his work. "Well, I picked up me craftin' tools in Adbar and also learned how to use the smithy. Ain't was noone better with a hammer n' a forge than me dad! And I learn' from the fella.." the dwarf sighs in good memories and continue; "But then, ye know, my dad laid himself in the grave with a mug of mead on his chest and his hammer in the hand, a true smith if I ever saw one. I knew that me hammer' swings would be tedious in Adbar and set out to roam the worl'! I been smashing orcs and making fine weapons since then," The dwarf smiles again at the thought of smashing orcs, and scratches his great beard. "But ye also want' to see how I does it? Well ye be lucky, for until my.Long-shot knight comes back, I got some time to use!" he said, and started walking into the back. "Well, milady, trot in right here and tell me which thing I should forge for the beautiful likes of you?" |
| kulideb12-07-03, 07:19 AM | Seeing how his new friend was busy with a lady, Hogath took his leave. "I had better go see the elf before she thinks I've run off, you know to come for a drink lad." with that he gave Dakar a hefty pat on the back, nodded to the lady and tried to get out with out having to get to close to the bird. |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 08:18 AM | "Ye bet I will, kinfriend!" |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 09:15 AM | She smiles and follows him, "Well, I would like to have an adamantium armour made, not for me though. I could never wear anything heavy like that. Do you have any adamantite laying around here?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 09:20 AM | "Well I have some adamantite, and probably enough to equip a... smaller lady like yeself, or a dwarf like meself.. How big's ye friend, and how big's ye pouch?" |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 10:09 AM | "My friend was in here earlier... Lord Lonthar. As far as money goes I could easily spend fifty platinum pieces for it." She pulls a pouch from out of mid air, then opens it. She takes out fifty platinum and shows it to him. "Cost isn't a big deal for me." |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 10:28 AM | "It sure aint!" the dwarf said, astonished, while examining the precious metal. He then reclaims his calm and his features becomes firm again. "But it aint the metal I be needin'! It is revenge, orc necks, my axe seeks!!" he roars and turns away from the lady. "Regarding the knights armoury, it is already forged!" he points to the armoury made of dragon scales, lying on the counter. |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 10:39 AM | "Do you seek to hunt them down? I was thinking of going adventuring soon, perhaps we could go searching for some so that you may have your revenge. As far as Lord Lonthar goes, I didn't even know he had more armour. Hmm, well then I don't know what else I could do for him. Do you have any suggestions?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 10:42 AM | "Yay, I got meself some orcs I need to be huntin'. And if ye are more than what ye look like, ye would be a good addition to me quest. Along with the lad.." the dwarf said. He scratched his beard at the lady's question. "Hmm... It be depending, is he ye friend in adventure and battle, in heart or in both?" |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 10:49 AM | She smiles, "Well, it seems he is my protector. As far as in heart, I do not know about that. I suppose it would depend on how he felt." She looks at him curiously, "Tell me, what do you think I look like to you then?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 10:54 AM | "What ye look like? A lady at her best years, which knows not what to do with herself! Therefore, ye throw yerself at the first man coming in the door!" he says bluntly. "But I sense great magic in ye, too, and great knowledge about the earth that usually only dwarves are allowed. Tell me, does yer lad know about this other side of you? Poor lad.." |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 10:59 AM | She almost seems offened by his comment of her throwing herself at the knight, "I did not throw myself at him, he did so to me after I saved him. However that does not matter right now. I am a dryad, one of the few who are allowed to roam the world away from her protective tree. That explains my knowledge of nature and the magic that nature has willingly given to me. And yes, he does know about my other side. Why do you say that as though it were a curse?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 11:04 AM | "It is no curse, of course not milady, but me kin has done a good job of teaching me to dislike magic. Many years of hardy travel has cleansed me, so that I can make me own standpoints... And I feel nothing ominous about you. I only feared that ye were decieving the knight..." the dwarf said. "But eh, since ye be a dryad an' all, do ye not wield weapons? If ye do, we can save yer honey's item for later, and ye can let me forge ye a tremendous blade! Or craft ye a quarterstaff, blessed by the earth! For the right prize, of course" the dwarf says eagerly. |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 11:11 AM | She nods, "I can understand that." Rose thinks a minute, "A quarterstaff you say...hmm, I've never thought about that. I suppose having one would be nice as I currently do not have any weapon at all. I do have one request, could you put this topaz gem somewhere in the top of the staff?" She reaches into the bag and pulls out a flawless topaz gem almost the size of a human fist and shows it to him. "Oh, what kind of wood do you use?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 11:14 AM | Dakar marvels at the fine jewel, then puts it on the table. "Well, I think I be using smooth oak for such a craft. I will of course carve some of me kins runes, so it will not wither and shrivel, like those trees use too. And for the dryad side, ye dont have to fret about me kicking a tree down to get yer wood, nay, I have some in the back, picked up after a huricane in the south. Fine wood, indeed, though death before me hands every came near!" |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 11:17 AM | She smiles, "Well, that is good to hear, well its good you didn't kill them, but bad because they died from a hurricane and not live until they grew to their natural old age. Well, anyhow how much will it cost for you to make?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-07-03, 01:18 PM | "The wood was no cost to me, the jewel's a pleasure to work with, and the magic will take no more than a few days to recover from... My payment, will be yerr followship on me orc-soiled road, and maybe even yer friends!" |
| HeavensRose12-07-03, 06:00 PM | She smiles again, "Well that is payment easily made! Oh, if we are to be travelling together may I have your name? I am Rose." |
| Dakar Fireform12-08-03, 09:54 AM | "Well, me name be Dakar Fireform! Let me get on to the forgin' part!" he says, and walks over to the back, picking up some branches. He tests them by knocking on them, gripping them and so on, and throws the ones he dislikes away. At last he stands with one branch, a feet higher than himself and smooth bark. He then takes a razor knife and begins cutting it into perfection; he lets the shape of it be, natural and harmonous, but takes the roughness off it. Then, he walks into the big and closes a black curtain, so no eyes can see his secret craft. A half hour passes and then he comes out, the gnarled quarterstaff edged with beautiful carvings and magical runes, and with a socket in the top. He inserts the big gem. After a moment, the staff begins to grow around the gem in four different corners of the socket, holding it tight, but still visible and pulsating with its magic. It closes at the top, and his work has been perfected. "Here ye go, Rose, its living as the sunniest summer! I made a little of me handcraft, and quite humbly I can say I did a pretty good job. The runes has inserted magic to the staff, and to ye, for wielding it. Whereever the top, the jewel, strikes earth, entangling plants or beautiful flowers will sprout, depending on the mood ye be in. Also it can become the original form, a very unspectacular branch, if ye dont want it found by horrid eyes. It also makes a pretty hard blow, of course!" the dwarf laughs and hands the staff over to Rose. |
| HeavensRose12-08-03, 09:58 AM | Hearing what the staff does she smiles brightly and gingerly takes it from him. She lets her fingers slide down the staff feeling the smoothness and tracing the runes, "Thank you Dakar! It is quite beautiful indeed! I can't wait to test it out! Oh, I do have another request if you don't mind. Can you make leather items?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-08-03, 10:02 AM | "Of course I can! Dont ye be doubtin' in me skills, fair lady, I been working with raw reindeer skin in howling storm!!" the dwarf says proudly, undoubtly speaking the truth. He had chosen not to tell the other powers of the staff, for honestly he had not much knowledge of the magical runes he had found in a mouldy part of his rune scroll. It was nature, it was good, that was all he knew and needed to know. |
| HeavensRose12-08-03, 10:07 AM | She continues to smile and thinks a moment, "Well, could you make a leather dress? A dress that would offer some protection against attacks? Oh, think you could put a symbol of a tree on the skirt area? Speaking of skirt, could you cut every so often around the bottom edges making little flap type things? Its more for looks than anything really. One last thing, a leather wrist guard.. a leather wrap or something to go on my right wrist? I won't take no for a payment.. name your price." She gives him a wink then waits for his reply. |
| Dakar Fireform12-08-03, 10:14 AM | "Threads at the bottom? Silly girl..." the dwarf chuckles. "But of course I can do it! What d'ye have it made of? And payment... eh.. Well, if ye are to travel with me, then promise that I will get to kill the killer of me dad! Grogg, the ogre, hes be mine above all other... Though I be thinking i will get meself a lot more than one notch, he!" |
| HeavensRose12-08-03, 03:39 PM | She smiles, "Alright but let me give you a couple of these..." she places a couple of diamonds the size of a gold coin on the counter. Getting back on the subject she thinks for a mintue then answers, "Do you have any soft leather?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-08-03, 03:49 PM | "Soft leather? Soft to yer skin, and soft to a blow! Do ye want protection, or a galla dress, dear girl?" the dwarf asks, not comprehending the woman's choice of comfort above safety. |
| HeavensRose12-08-03, 03:55 PM | "Well, I would rather have it soft as I am not accustomed to having it anything hard touch my skin. Hmm... I suppose I don't have much choice in the way of protection goes. Go ahead and make it from hard leather then..." |
| Dakar Fireform12-08-03, 03:58 PM | "Now, yere only mentioning leather here. What if I coated it with fine mithral on the outside, surely a little gift concerning these sparklin' di'monds, so that it could be soft, but still hard as a armor? I can then make threads hanging below the mithral coating, where the soft fur would have done no good anyways. Itll become a nice battledress, worthy of a dwarfen maiden, where ye can keep yere good looks, AND ye life?" |
| HeavensRose12-08-03, 04:06 PM | She thinks, "Well.... that sounds like a good compromise to me! I can't wait to see what it will look like!" |
| Dakar Fireform12-08-03, 04:20 PM | "And how to protective it be! I dont want ye girl laying around and dying in the middle of me battle!" the dwarf says bluntly, with hidden compassion. The dwarf walks into the back and finds some large skins. He walks into the secrecy of the back again, and for a tedious hour he sits and stirs the needle his gruff hands are not made to wield. It is crude work, for he is but a minor sewer, but then he pulls forward a small wand, very much ressembling the one of a wizard. He pokes the skin, while muttering a prayer to his god of secrecy, Dumathoin, and the skin's rough edges and bad sewings dissapear, and forth lies work as pretty as only the talented of the craft could have done it. "Just... eh... Shaping me skincraft to the fullest, ye know. I do the basics, and this thingy does what I aint supposed to be doing, for I aint no woman!" the dwarf blurts embarrassedly. He then finds the metal, his true passion. The mithral shapes easily at his hammer, and within thirty minutes it is shaped around the leathery dress. He then opens some scales on the back, so that with delicacy not force, the dress could be opened and taken off. Then he makes the shread with his knife, many times using the wand to make it look pretty. It does at last, and to make it perfect, he walks into the covered room and stays for a score of minutes. When he comes back out, the dress has the sign of the tree on the skirt area, though the tree is at the same time a grand rune, of Illusion. When the lady's eyes falls upon the leather and mithral dress, it shows as a pretty silk work, fragile and soft as the skies. But if a hand is held over the third leaf on the left side it returns to the normal look as long as the hand stayes there. This he shows her. "Here ye go fine lady!" |
| HeavensRose12-09-03, 01:43 AM | She looks at it in awe, "It is really beautiful Dakar, you have been truly blessed with your blacksmithing skills! May you continue to make many more beautiful things!" She takes it from him, "I will put this on as soon as Lord Lonthar, well... let me go wake him and let him know you are finished with his things." She nods to him then walks out heading to the inn. |
| HeavensRose12-09-03, 04:44 PM | She comes back in looking around she calls out "Darkar, I've returned with Lord Lonthar..." She picks up the leather armour she had left on the counter while she had gone to retrieve Lonthar. |
| ThePreacher12-09-03, 04:59 PM | Coming into the blacksmith's quarters, Lonthar looks around, appraising the art of the blacksmith. "Good morning Master dwarf! I hath come to visit thy premises and to praise thy art once again." He smiles when he sees the good ol' dwarf's familliar face. |
| Dakar Fireform12-11-03, 05:07 AM | "I bet'ya come looking for more than that! here ye go, lad!" the dwarf says, and throws the armoury he had forged over to the knight. It is forged by the beautiful dragonic scales and metals, hard as the hardest adamantite if not harder, and very resisting to fire, even a dragons breath. It does not weigh at much as adamantite, though, and can easily be taken off, but never forced off. Dakar lets the knight inspect his works for a score of seconds, before speaking again; "So, I got some of the scales left, enough to make a sign on the front of this breastplate. If ye want a sign, that is!" |
| ThePreacher12-11-03, 08:32 AM | "Ooooouuuhhhhh... A finest of the finest! 'tis be the lightest plate armor I have ever holded in my hands! And it is fair to look at. A symbol you say? ..hmmmm... Yes, I have one in mind. Make me a symbol of an elven tree of life... As I am the protector of a dryad... I am a protector of all growing things." |
| HeavensRose12-11-03, 08:40 AM | She watches the two then shakes her head with a smile, it was always fun to listen to others while they are so anxious about something. She looks at the leather armour she held in her hands and smiled. Forgetting who was in the room and where she was she slips her dress off and begins to the put the leather armour on. |
| Dakar Fireform12-11-03, 09:41 AM | "A tree ye say? Just like the dryad..." Dakar turns and sees the woman taking of her clothes, and immediately flushes. "Eh, maybe ye be wanting to go out in the back...?" he asks, and turns around again. "Eh, yeah, it can be done, and will be done, I'll just wait to the lady is finished stri.. eh changing her clothes.." |
| ThePreacher12-11-03, 04:47 PM | "Nay lass! Nay! you should not do that in public!" Lonthar quickly covers her with his leather coat. "Now go to the back and change there.. M'lady". |
| HeavensRose12-11-03, 05:11 PM | She looks at the two, "Oh forgive me! I am not use to others having a problem with my changing freely. Besides I just need someone to close the back of my dress. Will you do the honors Lonthar, I'm afraid Dakar is a bit short to do so." She smiles like it is nothing for her. |
| Dakar Fireform12-11-03, 05:16 PM | "Short I be, but that're only for meaning me axe will strike more vital places!" the dwarf said, and pointed grimly to his groin, before bursting into laughter. |
| ThePreacher12-11-03, 05:18 PM | "It would be my honor!". He helps her tie the dress' strings on the back. "This looks fabolous on you Rose!!! I am in awe!" |
| Dakar Fireform12-11-03, 05:28 PM | "Oh well, I oughta leave the lovers for a short moment, I have a sign to craft!" the dwarf grumbles, and goes into the back, drawing the black curtain over the entrance. Hammerstrokes are heard, and many times the hissing sound of spellcasting, before the dwarf comes back out, only a score of minutes later. He carries the beautiful armoury, which is carved with a tree quite ressembling the one on Rose's dress. He whistles a tone of contentment, and throws the armour to the knight. "Here ye be going! I made this sign with a bit o'me muscle, and a bit o'me mind! It's not as magic as the one I made for the lass, but I bet'cha the dragon scales has more magic in it, than I could, ever be able to put in me forgery, until the great day..." the dwarf says. |
| ThePreacher12-12-03, 01:26 AM | "I am much grateful to you master dwarf! This is a fine crafting! .. Now, we should discuss the payment arrangements, shouldn't we?" Lonthar smiles. ((ooc: How can u "throw" a full platemail so easily??? It must wiegh at least 50 lbs... no? )) |
| HeavensRose12-12-03, 01:40 AM | After Lord Lonthar finishes tying her armour up she looks down at it then to the dwarf, "I really love this Dakar!" Rose then turns to Lonthar with a soft smile, "Thank you!" As the dwarf was bringing Lonthar's armour out to him, Rose looked at it with a smile. "Your craftmanship is remarkable! All the other blacksmith's must envy you, your workmanship is the best I've ever seen." Though it is the only she has ever seen. :D "So Dakar, when do we begin our adventure, I must admit I am quite anxious to go!" She remembers her dress she has and lays it on a nearby table. She decides she will return it to Kulideb before they leave. |
| ThePreacher12-12-03, 01:54 AM | "Amm.. Adventure m'lady?" The paladin seems surprised and somewhat worried... Though not for himself. |
| HeavensRose12-12-03, 02:47 AM | She looks to Lonthar, "Oh... well yes. I had forgotten to mention that in trade for my staff and armour that I would join Dakar on his adventure to seek out a certain orc. I was hoping you'd join us, but you don't have to...." She lets the sentence trail off, a smile spreads across her face like she knows the answer already. |
| Dakar Fireform12-12-03, 04:35 AM | ((Okay :D. Its light, though strong, and dwarves are known to be quite 'stocky'. And I didn't throw it a full ten feet or the like, merely a few feet)) "Well, me axe is anxious for som' orc necks too, so t'sooner we go, t' better," the dwarf says. "Are ye coming, lad?" |
| HeavensRose12-13-03, 03:16 PM | She takes her gaze from Lonthar to Dakar, "Well, I will be outside waiting if anyone needs me or is ready to go." She nods to them and walks outside the shop and sees a bird not far off. She walks over there, staff in hand and kneelss down beside it. Gently she holds her hand out to it and it hops onto her hand, with her other she softly pets it. |
| ThePreacher12-13-03, 03:51 PM | "Well, I would be more than happy to help the man who had crafted his fine armor for me! And besides, we haven't discussed payment for the armour crafting... How much should you charge, I am willing to pay master dwarf." |
| Dakar Fireform12-14-03, 09:14 AM | ((Sorry for absence, I am severely struck by a virus. Am lying in bed, and has been since tuesday)) "Well fella, ye can go with me on me quest, and owe me nothing. 'tis because your request cost nothing but simple time and to say the least, it was an honour to work with fine metal as this!" the dwarf says and starts walking to the door. "Ye coming?" The dwarf stops then and suddenly turns back. He walks into the closed room and comes back with a backpack as large as himself. "Ah! Got meself a keg of fine mead, saved fer travel, and something to eat too!" the dwarf smiles. |
| ThePreacher12-14-03, 03:16 PM | "We are already departing? Well alright then. My sword is yours, and the orc's head as well!" The paladin grows excited with the last words, as though his zealous nature is pouring out "Just let me put this on and grab ome of belongings from the inn". He puts his sword on the counter and starts wearing the armor. "Say.. Am I supposed to wear a chain shirt under this as with a regular platemail armor? Or is it not necessary in this case?" |
| Dakar Fireform12-14-03, 05:08 PM | "Ye should be wearing something under, thats fer sure. If ye have a thick or woolen shirt, that would do, but else I would go with the chain shirt," the dwarf says. |
| HeavensRose12-14-03, 05:31 PM | She continues to kneel outside while still petting the bird. A few more animals had decided to join her, a squirrel and another bird stand beside her. She smiles then looks toward the blacksmith's wondering whats taking so long. She says something to the animals and they head back into the safety of the trees. Growing tired of sitting she stands and begins to walk along the edges of the trees. |
| Dakar Fireform12-14-03, 05:42 PM | Dakar comes out of the inn and sees the women wandering off. "Hey, come back melady, we're goin' in a min' or few!" the dwarf yells to her. (We are in the Forgotten Realms, on the swordcoast (so was the position of the inn, and Agudo's school, thus is my smithie's too) and I would quess us to be some 15-30 miles from baldurs gate, to either EE, EN, or NN. If we say EN, then we are not so far from river chionthar. There are three woods near us, and my travel leads to the little group of mountains behind them, in line with the river, though a bit more north. A travel through plains and woods, about 100-150 miles long. So it ain't no little travel!) |
| HeavensRose12-14-03, 06:03 PM | She looks to Dakar as he shouted and slowly she walks back to his shop. "Could you please hurry? My adventuring feet have an itch to start off already." |
| ThePreacher12-15-03, 12:18 AM | "Ok, ready to go" Lonthar steps out from the smithy, his reddish armor shining in the morning sun. "Just let fetch me things.." He enters he inn and a few minutes afterwards he comes ou with a light back pack on his shoulder. "Set to go, lead the way master dwarf" As he says so, he give out a whistle and a moment later, a black warhorse stands right infront of him. |
| Dakar Fireform12-15-03, 06:55 AM | "Hmm.... Shall we travel by horse, as the knightie, or shall we travel on our feet? I prefer foot, but it will of course be quicker..." the dwarf says, and looks to the woman and the knight. |
| HeavensRose12-15-03, 02:50 PM | She looks at the two with a smile, "Well, I have no horse to ride on. I could go find another animal..." |
| Dakar Fireform12-15-03, 03:26 PM | "That won't be necessary, lass! We'll walk!" the dwarf says and then starts determinedly down the road, away from the large ocean of the sword coast, and towards the river chiontar, five miles away. "Ye coming? We will follow the river and go through the woods on the third day, if we set a strong pace!" |
| HeavensRose12-15-03, 03:35 PM | She smiles, "Well if we are going to walk then I guess I'm happy with that." She starts to follow Dakar with a light hearted step and she looks to the animals near them. To everyone but the animals it sounds gibberish or even unintelligable, however the animals seem to know what she is saying and they go about their business. |
| ThePreacher12-15-03, 04:07 PM | "It is fine to walk, but would the lady like to ride the horse? He is friendly... Especialy to such fair ladies such as youeself." Lonthar started walking, his horse comapnion following his step. |
