| cat_god10-07-07, 06:43 PM | Has anyone statted these up for CoCd20? I think it would be cool to throw these at your players. |
| DragonBringerX10-08-07, 01:18 AM | what are you saying here? Whats chud...and whats CoCd? and what do you want stats for...speak man! |
| joekap10-08-07, 02:06 PM | you dont know C.H.U.D. ????? C= canabalistic H= humanoid U= under ground D= dwellers a bad (in a good way) 80s B horror movie staring the above creatures. i stated them out for d20 modern but i cant find them, they might have escaped my note book and hit the sewers. i do remeber mine where a bit smarter then the movie versions, they were the result of a poverty stricen group forced to live under a city that was built on top of an old U.S city by big corperations. these peple mutated and started eating people. my version didnt use brute strenght only, their poo was poison and they used it in crude traps (like swinging spike thing covered inpoison poo) and the traps would main people and the C.H.U.D. would be drawn by the cries for help, and then they feast. and CoCd20 is call of cthulu d20 btw |
| cat_god10-08-07, 07:54 PM | I'm glad someone knows what C.H.U.D.'s are. That's a really fun movie. |
| Ragitsu10-10-07, 07:04 AM | Sounds like The Descent |
| joekap10-12-07, 11:20 PM | no ...its dosent sound like the decent...the decent sounds like C.H.U.D. because it came out in the 80's. although it was completly bad B horror movie |
| Ragitsu10-16-07, 03:51 AM | Yes, it DOES sound like The Descent, as that is the film I saw, then about 4 months later I came to this board and saw the C.H.U.D topic. |
| RoninZero14110-17-07, 04:30 AM | When she (I'm making an assumption here, apologies if I'm wrong) says "sounds like The Descent" she means that they sound alike, not that she thinks C.H.U.D. is based it. BTW, I haven't seen The Descent. Any good? |
| Ragitsu10-17-07, 09:40 AM | An entertaining horror film (rare in this day and age). There is a lot of psychological horror and you learn a thing or two about the concept of "enemy" in time. ;) I'd rate it at 8 out of 10. :) Definetely worth a rental, most likely warrants a purchase. |
| RoninZero14110-17-07, 07:25 PM | I'll keep it in mind next time I'm in the mood. |
| Thakowsaizmu10-18-07, 02:20 AM | The Descent did look like an interesting movie. But you know cat_god, you can just stat them up yourself. Or use monsters from the Monster Manual that are close. Saves a bunch of time and work to just take stuff from the MM and give it a fluff makeover. |
| Ragitsu10-18-07, 04:17 AM | Races of Destiny has two races that are close (Skulk and Underfolk) and with a bit of modification, you can conceivably reach them. |

| cat_god11-13-07, 11:03 PM | Well, in response to Thakowsaizmu, I actually sorta suck at making monsters, and to Ragitsu, I don't have Races of Destiny. Although, Grimlocks might work, with some modification. Thanks. |
