Has this type of game ever been ran with d20 rules, or does someone here have creatures/weapons/characters/rules to list?

Just conduct an "advanced search" with Google or other search engine for "Castlevania" only from the domain http://boards1.wizards.com. Use "Ctrl [or Apple for a Mac] + F" to find the words you want in the threads you find. Note I haven't well inspected anything I've found; I was trying to find the Castlevania/Ravenloft thread to which I'd posted a while back with Medusa Head stats & such in it.
Alucard's stats (http://boards1.wizards.com/wotc_archive/index.php/t-671010.html), Vampire Hunter Class (http://boards1.wizards.com/wotc_archive/index.php/t-563568.html), Weapons (scroll down) (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=757438&page=5)
site with pictures and descriptions of the enemies (but no d20 stats) (http://www.vgmuseum.com/mrp/castle.html)

I was thinking of writing a Castlevania-inspired OGL game, though with considerable differences to, you know, not break any laws (see also: Mechamorphosis). Some straight-up statting would be fun, though. I think I'll whip up some creature stats later for the lulz.

I once tried to stat out one of the Belmonts in D&D 3.5, but the core classes were too restrictive to really fit the concept.
Once I get my hands on 4e, I'll give it another try...

I tried once to run a Castlevania campaign, taking place in Dawn of Sorrow. I had the whole castle mapped out (that took forever), and I added monsters to their respectful places. Unfortunately, it was kinda cheesy...

Yeah, WotC recently released it. It's called Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. Just arm yourself with a +1 Holy Chainwhip and call your character Belmont! :D

Ooh, ooh! That was my work. You really liked it :D?

I'm a big fan of Symphony of the Night. I've never taken the opportunity to play any of the others however. Are there any out there that have the same feel as SotN?

Not sure if it's the same feel, but Super Castlevania IV for SNES was really good.

I actually played a bit of that one years ago (my friend had a copy). I was thinking of the newer games that I haven't seen in action yet (PS2 and up);I had actually forgotten 'bout that one. Thanks for the heads up; I'm gonna try to find a copy now :).

some of the GBA ones kind of capture the feel. i forget which ones, as ive only really played one (and it was 4 years ago, and my memory is a bit off.)

ive played so much SotN, i almost wanted to get the castle map tattooed on my back. and i probably could have done the sketch myself, without looking.

yeah, i did like the build. its something i might end up playing in a later game, depending on what gets ran when (and how long it takes my group to convert to 4e)

What CR would Lord Olrox and Beelzebub (Symphony of the Night) have?
Brxyn

olrox would probably be an 18 or so. depends on how you build him.

beezlebub would have a 15 or so.

then again, if you can rig up a shield rod/alucard shield combo that works for d20, everythng has a cr of 1/4.

I've actually intended to include the Grandphaloon boss from SoTN in some game I run at some point.

Underground Cathedral ....knee deep in faceless humaniod fleshy bodies.....colossal rotating sphere of human bodies....rain faceless shambling human forms down to the party below.......

Altho I'd likely change the inside of the Gradphaloon to something i little more interesting then a goofy laser eye. Maybe a Abberation beholder , a tesseract sphere , a giant ruby heart, something involving Zern , a curled up Zodar, a Lightning Sphere, a huge indestructable golden skull......

Well i could go on for a long time. Probly my all time favorite boss fight. Beezlebub is good too. what happens to Spider eaters that have been living off of and inside a rotting titan? hmmmm

Okay, so I found out a way to get this to work. I should've tried d20 Modern in the first place!

Vampire Killer is a +1 Holy Flame Burst Chainwhip. (the flame burst ability allows you to get a "crit" against otherwise un-crittable undead)
