| Myranthor07-16-03, 07:50 AM | (OOC: I'm starting this now, but I must say that anyone who joins is welcome!) You are sitting in a luxurious bedroom, one of the largest of the brothel. A large bed stands in the middle of the place, and is placed to draw attention. In the farthest corner stand a little desk with all matter of parchments over it on one side, and make up and perfume on the other. "You must help us, mister. All us uf here feel defenseless at this time, and some of my girls are eally anxious now. That, and you may add that in an establishment like mine, rumors spread easily." The woman sitting in front of you was the owner of the "establishment". Time has passed on her, and now her charms slowly faded away. She hidden these little imperfections by applying a lot of make-up on her figure. Her persistent perfume was also almost intoxicating. "I know, the city's milice is here, and is taking care of the situation. However, I do not trust them, because Utia's end is not natural. Utia left us, hanged in her room. But, I knew Utia, and she had no reason to leave us like that. She had to take care of her little brother, and she had a lot of succes with the clients here. I'd love to know the reason of this suicide, and this is precisely why I engaged you. The guard does not care if there no murderers associated with a death, and I do not have the time to take care of this story by myself. I thought about rewarding those to unravel this mystery with a monetary reward. This won't be too much, though, as we girls still need to live. The brothel is closed for a few days, so that the....corpse can be taken away. You may speak with the girls more easily like that, until we're stuck again with the hustle-bustle of the clients. If I can suggest you anything, it would be to meet old Lucy or Urphe. Lucy is the oldest here, she's like our mother to us all, and she knows everything. Urphe was Utia's sister, so she may know something. However, she may be really frustrated because of her sister's death. Finally, I must add that I am always eager to help you with what you need. Any questions?" |
| Serith07-16-03, 09:33 AM | Crossing and uncrossing my legs as I listen to the story I can't help but think what have I gotten myself into. Yesterday I was enjoying a mead at the local pub, today I'm being asked to solve the death of a woman I never meet. But then again, I'd do anything for money. So reluctenly I agreed to help, but why? Even I couldn't figure that out. I pulled my dark blue cloak closer to my body as a chill shook me. No other posasion is visable, but I don't seem to be hard up either. Most assume I live in town, though that couldn't be further from the truth. Finally I say "Well I guees I could look into this for you. Ask old Lucy or Urphe you say? Well Guess I start there." I stand and leave to go talk to the two woman. |
| Myranthor07-16-03, 12:31 PM | You exit Lyse's room to find yourself in a circular piece, around which are eleven doors. Ten of those lead to privates rooms, while the last one bring to an area of common rest for the girls. Just at your right is the door to Lucy's room. You knock, and you hear an old voice, asking you to enter. Upon arrival, you see a woman like you enver thought you'd see her. She is an elderly gnome woman, crouched over herself. She miss a few teeth, and the whole room behind her is filled with medicinal herbs. "What do youw ant, young lads?" |
| Agudo Archmage07-16-03, 01:21 PM | ((JUST BEFORE THE DEATH)) As the blue and white robed wizard walks up to the door and knocks, he turns to his friend the wise white owl Lady Hoot. She is sitting comfortably on the mage shoulder, and he smiles brightly. “You see my wise owl we found a place to stay the night, and from the looks of the place it’s a clean hotel”. Lady Hoot can’t get passed the sign they saw at the front. “I still don’t think this is a hotel Agudo” The Wizard just waives his and continues knocking, “Don’t be silly it said rooms for rent” Lady Hoot shook her white head “Why did it say rooms by the hour?” Agudo stopped knocking…… “Well I …. I don’t know? But lets find out” with that he opens the door and walks in, not waiting for anyone to do so. As the two adventures inter the clean and well-kept lobby, they are greeted by smiling half lightly dressed cortisones. Agudo smiles back, as he and his owl friend walk up to an older woman behind a desk. “Hail and well met friend” Agudo said to the woman as cheerfully as any has ever done so before. “I am Agudo Archmage of Light and this is my lovely friend Lady Hoot” He says this as he points to the wise whit owl. The others in the lobby chuckle and one male cortisone speaks up (We don’t go for that kind of dirty Kinky stuff, in are rooms mister) Lady Hoot and Agudo looked at each other for a moment. “Oh no my good people, she is not an ordinary owl she talks” Agudo looked at Hoot to finish the sentence. She flaps her wings for a moment, and turns her head in all direction, like most owls can. “I am from an enchanted forest, where those like me are more than just a little intelligent. My kind often teach in schools, and help out in Hospices.” The others in the room gasp, and one can be heard saying….. (I never heard any talking bird before?) The elderly lady behind her desk, dumps out some Ale that she had been drinking. “No moiré drinking for me” the elderly woman said as she eyed the two new people. Agudo looked around puzzled at this group of people, its as if they never seen a wizard and a owl before, he thought to himself. “I will just be needing the room for the night” Agudo said back to the now Alcohol free woman. The old woman held up her hand, just before her workers could laugh. “I will tell you what, were a fancy place so this may cost more than the other places you’re used to. Fifty gold coins in advanced.” She said as she held out her hand for payment. Agudo mouth opened, for that was three times what a fine hotel would charge. He closed his mouth and opened his purse of coins. “So be it!” he said as he gave the money to the woman. “Now I expect breakfast with this price, and who will show me to our room?” The old Lady pointed to the room down the hall and said “You can’t miss it, just look for lucky seven on the door.” As Agudo walked away and opened the door he found a clean well kept room, and he lay down on the bed for a second. “Lady Hoot? those people acted like they don’t allow pets in the place or something.” He turned to look at her as she set on a chair near by. Lady Hoot tilted her head and spoke “Discrimination by others is something owls must get used to I suppose” Out in the Lobby the cortisones were arguing who would sleep with the crazy mage. “He is rich so I want him” one girl said, but others wanted in on the action as well, and demanded the room. Finally the old woman held up her hand, to silence them. “He really thinks this is a hotel, not a brothel” the room burst out into laughter…… ((((OOC Ok Agudo will post next when the other guy ** Serith ** asks some questions about what happen to the dead woman……then I will do another flash back.))) |
| Serith07-16-03, 04:41 PM | "Hi, are you Lucy? I'm Serith. I was wondering if you would mind me asking a few questions?" |
| Myranthor07-16-03, 10:50 PM | When you enter her romm, Little Lucy is sewing. After a few times, she looks up, and gaze into your eyes. "I'd be pleased to help, my lords." she says, a little sadness tainting her little voice. "What do you want?" |
| Serith07-16-03, 11:03 PM | "Well dear lady I was wondering if you could tell me a little about Utia. The owner has ask a few people to look into...what happened..and I think the best way to start is to know more about her. That is, if you would be kind enough to tell me what you can." |
| Myranthor07-16-03, 11:09 PM | "But it would be my pleasure, gentle man. Still, try not to pressure me, for these events are yet burning in my aching heart. Utia was a fine girl, at least for a tiefling. She arrivd here not too long ago, something like 15 years, more or less. She had a lot of succes with her clients: those men always liked "exotism", as they call it! I know she has been abandonned to a temple of Loviatar, and that she found solace here. I am surprised that such a talentful girl couldn't make her way somewhere else, but one's can not write his own destiny. It remembers me that bald man I once met. It was two or three hundred years ago, when I was still demanded around here. He came here, and asked me if we could... get to know each other. But, as time passed, he grew more and more uncomfortable around me. When I asked him why he did that if he was so reluctant about it, he simply said it was his destiny. How would you interpret such a story... What was I talking about?" |
| Serith07-16-03, 11:16 PM | With a smile, I gentle lead her back to the right chain of thought. "We where talking about Utia, when she first got here. You said she was well liked." |
| Myranthor07-16-03, 11:33 PM | The little woman seemed surprised. "Utia? Well liked? It is hard to say you can be well liked in a place such as ours, my lord. Business is business, and every girl has to keep her little secrets. She was appreciated, but nothing more. But young Utia did not a sad mood. I would never have thought she would have committed suicide: I would have bet Lara would, but not her. I am a little puzzled, though. Why are you here?" |
| Agudo Archmage07-17-03, 08:06 PM | ((FLASHBACK)) As Lady Hoot sleped on the chair, Agudo decided it was time to wipe away the grime of the day. Grabbing his towel and soap, at the same time taking off his blue and white robes. The wizard picked up his toothbrush and wrapped the towel about his body. He then nonchalantly walked out into the hallway and stopped a guest who was leaving a courtesan,. “Excuse me good Sir, can you tell me where the washroom is?” The burly Dwarf looked up at the bare skinned wizard; with knobby knees showing under his towel; and winked” “Tis down the hall to ye left, I don’t bother cleaning me self off, for I be likeing the smell of the lady’s on me” The Dwarf walked away chuckling. Agudo scratched his head for a moment, but then started walking towards the washroom, thinking that was an odd Dwarf. Not that they all aren’t he mumbled to himself. As he opened the door, he found a man and woman waiting to bathe the next customer. “Hello Sir do you want us to use oils today?” Agudo stood there for a second thinking. “Well no, I am old enough to bathe myself thank you” Agudo was surprised at first, but then thought it was why it cost so much to stay here. “You may go if you wish” he said pointing to the door. “Oh no sir we would lose our jobs if we did so.” Agudo saw how sad the woman looked as she spoke about her job. “Well my dear is some type of curtain available?” “Why yes Sir” she said as she pulled over the curtain next to the tub. Agudo smiled “Well you both can stay but, I am a man of modesty so please no peaking, and please call me Agudo” The man and woman nodded their heads, and did as they were told. “Yes Sir…Um Agudo” She said smiling. The man courtesan excused himself to take his brake. Agudo hops in the already filled tub of warm water, after removing his towel “So tell me my dear what is your name? She was quite for a moment as she stood behind the curtain. “I am “Lara”. “Well that’s a lovely name” Agudo said as he scrubbed his back, “I don’t mean to be so rude, but why are so sad, it seems?” (((OOC OK DM ……….its up to you …..She can tell Agudo fist, or she can tell ((SERITH)) and I will post what he is told, in my “Flashback”)) |
| Myranthor07-17-03, 08:25 PM | (OOC: Agudo, I really like you flashback posts, but I have a few things to inform you about. I didn't plan to have male courtesans in the place, so I would like you to either edit your precedent posts, or just leave it at that, but stop creating them. Aside from that, you're an evil little goblin, sneaking on informations even before the death happens :smirk: :P ) Lara looked surprised. However, with a troubled voice, she complied. "It seems, you say? More make-up tomorrow morning, I guess... I am sorry, you probably do not want to hear this folly s...Agudo. Let's just say I am not here by choice, but by necessity. If I could live without money, I wouldn't be here today, but I need it to pay for my studies. And you, what are you doing with your life?" |
| Agudo Archmage07-17-03, 09:00 PM | (((FLASHBACK)) As Lara talked about the need for money, Agudo nodded his head. Not that she could see, for he was separated by a curtain. “I understand dear, working in a hotel can be tuff work with all the demands of fresh towels and clean beds.” Lara had heard that there was a wizard staying the night, who thought this was a hotel, but she thought it was a bad joke. “Um….yes Agudo” “Is that why the man left to go clean the beds?’ Agudo asked incessantly. Lara was dumbfounded???? “I am sorry Agudo that was not a man but a….. (((WOMAN ORG!))) :P  Agudo turned red “Oh my, I just thought it was an ugly guy” Agudo said without thinking “Sorry” Lara smiled at the classic bumbling wizard. ((OOC OK DM.......AS LONG AS WE ALLLLLLL KNOW THAT I WAS JUST POINTING OUT THAT WOMAN HAVE NEEDS TO.....UM .....YOU KNOW WITH MALE COURTESANS...... ;) |
| Myranthor07-17-03, 09:09 PM | Agudo heard Lara sit down on a chair, on the other side of the curtain. "Agudo, please tell me. You're not like most men who come here. What are you looking for here? I heard some things about a wizard who arrived just a few hours ago, but I just want to be sure..." |
| Agudo Archmage07-17-03, 09:40 PM | (((FLASHBACK))) As Agudo added some soap to his back, Lara asked an odd question, or at least the wizard thought. “Why am I here?” he blurted out. “I thought like most people who come to this place , isn’t it obvious Lara?” But before she could answer he spoke up again. “To get some sleep” He then asked for some more hot water, as he scrubbed his back  |
| Myranthor07-17-03, 09:52 PM | Lara's soft voice rose again from behind the curtain, as she let some water in the bath. "Hom well, some clients do that, at times. But you muist also learn that this house is also a house of...pleasures.." |
| Agudo Archmage07-17-03, 10:18 PM | As the hot water was added to his bath, the mage relaxed and felt wonderful. He closed his eyes, and started to sink down into the murky bubble bath. Then Lara pointed out that people come here for pleasure. Agudo thought for a second, "I am sure they do, this is a very expensive place, this hot water alone, is well worth half the price." But as she was silent at his reply, he became concerned "That is what you meant.....Um...Lara....right?" Agudo felt strangely odd at that moment, but he could not tell why:confused: |
| Myranthor07-17-03, 10:24 PM | Lara's voice tensed a bit. "Well...not only.. Most men who come here are looking for more... Each of the girl here has a specialty of some kind, along with the general skills we all share. If you dare ask about mine, it would be discussion. Most men I end up with are the one loving debates and arguments. My studies in philosophy are a lot of help in that. They sai it heats them before the act itself." |
| Agudo Archmage07-17-03, 10:53 PM | (((Flashback before the murder)) Pondered the words of Lara, what did she mean by “heat and philosophy”? Agudo set there a little longer not moving, just thinking……and why men? “OH MY!” Agudo jumps up and slips on the bar of soap in the water, causing him to fall down again. The sudden impact of Agudo on the tub, causes it to tip over….SPLASH! A flood of water goes everywhere, knocking the curtain and Lara both over. Agudo is covered in bubbles and can’t see for a moment as he lies on the ground. Lara is soaking wet and a little shocked at what just happen. The Archmage of Light, raises himself up, and try’s to steady himself as he does on the slippery floor. He looks down at his naked body that is covered in key areas with soap. He then looks at Lara and laughs  “As a parson in the medical field may I say, If you seen one, you have seen them all!” He laughs again. “Now my dear if you would be so kind as to hand me my towel” As Lara try’s to get up she falls back down, with a bounce. Agudo smiles “Never mind Lara allow my magic to do the work.” With a snap of his fingers the towel appears around him. “You see magic can fix everything” but as he says this he try’s to walk and slips on the water. Up he goes high in the air, and then like a rock falling BAM! |
| Myranthor07-17-03, 11:11 PM | As soon as Agudo hits the ground, Lara is kneeling down at his side. "Are you wounded, fine man? " Then, when she sees Agudo is safe from ahrm, she grins in a mocking, but nonetheless seductive manner. "Didn't you say amgic could solve anything? I am surprised that it didn't help during your fall. That is what I distrust about magic: ot only its unreliability, but the unreliability of those persons manipulating it. I am not saying this to be mean to you, Agudo, but I believe magic to be a vile mistress. It always offers power, often popularity, and sometimes arrogance. Is magic truly a must for society? Wouldn't it be simpler, and better, if we simply sought to perfect ourselves without meddlings in such affairs? " |
| Serith07-18-03, 10:22 AM | Serith smiles. "Well, I'm looking for answers to a personal questionof my own. My search lead me here, so I search for answers to what happened as I search for my own answers. Can you tell me what room Lara is in? So that I may ask her a few questions as well." |
| Myranthor07-18-03, 12:54 PM | Lucy smiled at Serith's ignorance. "Probably you were not paying attentions to the place' topology, my dear, but this building is pretty simple. There are only 11 rooms in here. Ten pf those are for the courtesans, as well as me- no, young lad, I do not work anymore! I am here as councilor for our brave youth. The last room is a complex in itself: it is where clients can profit from a fireplace, a bath, or a place to eat, lightly of course. The girls all use these facilities when the need arises. So, if you look for Lara, you just have to look at every door, and find the one written "Lara" on it. It is as simple as that." |
| Agudo Archmage07-19-03, 02:19 AM | ((Flash Back Before The Death)) Agudo chuckles at Lara joke, “Yes well my dear, its like fine food, it can make you fat if you eat to much, and healthy if you use it only when needed.” He then slowly got up again, and helped her clean up the place. “I must say Lara this has been a most unusual bath, but if you excuse me, I must go talk to my friend the wise white owl Lady Hoot. But before I go from this house of ill repute, I will stop by your room latter, with a gift for your education. You’ll see my dear all in goodtime” with that the wizard of Light made his way back to his room. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-19-03, 11:03 AM | The roof above the heads of Serith and the ex-courtesan cracks, as something apparently heavy falls through it. On the floor betuin them falls what seems to be a mass of rags, mostly clean, but tainted with earth, and blood at some spots. "Falaner amin, Cathatara rwalaer" whispers a pain-affected, but smooth and calm, obviously elven voice, from within the rags, and then, - his hands searching for something to hold on to or lean against - the speaker rises to his feet, with some notable effort. A male elven face of greate appeal are all that can be seen from the rugs, which strangely remind the closing of a githzerai. No other features exept the face are seen, due to the baggy closing, not even the hands. One hand is hidden under a wide sleeve, and the other is within a ruggy glove. The elf's poor, unkempt clothes are in sharp contrast to his noble appearance and voice. His eyes are shaded with pain, and his right leg seems broken, or atleast it WAS broken untill very recently, and the brown cloth wrapped around it is heavily soaked with blood. "Manke... manke naa amin?. ." He looks around, finally growing somewhat aware to his surroundings. "Where am i?" he whispers, still somewhat dizzy. He reaches into the hood of his robes, and pulls a metalic bracelet over his forehead, then straightens it. At the bracelets's middle, facing forewards, is an insignia of feminine lips, slightly curved in a light smile. |
| Myranthor07-19-03, 11:28 AM | When the man bruyantly fell in through the roof, Lucy's fragile heart jumped in her chest. Her high-pitched voice rose in the little room, screaming for help. She then sat tight on her chair and closed her eyes while breathing deeply, at slight intervals. On the other side of the room, the door suddenly opened, revealing Lyse, panicked at Lucy's scream. When she saw the elven man, her eyes widened. "What is it? What are you doing here, and why couldn't you pass by the door like everyone else?" Lucy, trembling, was stuffing a little vial opf water with herbs she had in a pouch, concealed under her sober dress. "Lyse, don't be too hard on him" she said, despite the fact it was apparent she was still scared by him. "He seems wounded, and he does not even know where we are..." "We can not take enough precautions, especially at these times." Lyse replied. "You are, elf, in the Dame Lyse's House of pleasures. If you don't mind me asking, though, I would like to know the reasons of this particular entry, who you are, and most importantly, when will you pay the reparations for this roof?" |
| Agudo Archmage07-19-03, 11:48 AM | (((Flashback Before The Death))) “So you see Lady Hoot, the sign said by the hour for a reason.” Agudo set on the side of the bed, trying to explain how an obvious mistake could happen. Lady Hoot makes a comment about not being able to live this down. “What do you mean you’ll not be able to live this down? Your older than most Elves!” Agudo gets up and pours himself a glass of water; this was not going well, he had hoped his owl friend, would see the hummer over this. “Listen its late, will leave in the morning, and know one even knows us” Lady Hoot just flapped her wings, and said she had never been so humiliated in all her life. But she agreed to try to sleep until morning. The Wizard of Light Stayed up a little longer, pondering what to do next. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-19-03, 01:02 PM | The elf's eyes brighten suddenly "So this is a festhall? If so, tis a good place to fall into..." He tries to sit down, but his leg seems to respond in a flash of new pain, and he hardly keeps from crumbling back to the floor. He does, istead crouch, and closing his eyes, repeats "Au'falaner, cathatara rwalaer..." now with much less effort he stands back up, and speaks to the ones around him: "I have been banished by a man of corruption and strife, and thus had no controll over the course of my movement. I know not even wether i am on the continent of Everkec still... am i? In any case, with my sorrow of causing fear or discomfort to any of you, i shall do all posible to compensate and welm you. As for the roof... i've hardly more than a few silver coins on my body, yet i am more than willing to pay with any form of service... Though before i reveal my identity, i must ask of you this... what land, continent. . . -- " He stops for a moment, and his eyes almost sparkle with the delight of a possibility he just thought of; "Or even, what Sphere does this festhall, or House of Pleasures stand uppon?" |
| Serith07-19-03, 01:27 PM | Sitting back to Consider what Lucy just told me, I relize that I should have know that. Just as I gets ready to leave the roof collapses! I stops in my tracks, then wait around to make sure that the girls will be ok. ((Um, wrong name Lucy smiled at Malendor's ignorance. ok?)) |
| Myranthor07-19-03, 03:19 PM | Lyse crossed her arms on over her rather exposed breast, eyeing you coldly. "No. You are presently on Toril, in a region called the Dalelands. It seems you traveled very far, young man. But your landing is accurate. As you said, a festhall is not a bad place to en up in...especially when we need your help in the aforementionned festhall. One of my girl, named Utia, died hanged in her room during the last night. I would like to know what are the causes of this suicide: why did this happen, what hapened...you know. You may ask the man there, wearing the dark blue cloak. He's already engaged in helping me unravel this mystery. ANd now, I'd really like to see both of you leaving alone our elder. Lucy needs a little rest now, I guess." |
| Serith07-20-03, 08:53 AM | 'Thank you for the information Lucy." I leave the room pondering what she told me. As I do I also search for Lara's room.. |
| Myranthor07-20-03, 04:37 PM | Walking in the brothel, you see a few doors. On each one of those, a name is handcrafted in sturdy wood. Serith walked by Lyse's room and then crossed a corridor, to find after short researches a door marked with Lara's name. It is not sure, but you there are some stramnge sounds on the other side of the dor, like if someone was sobbing. |
| Serith07-20-03, 09:49 PM | After listening to the sounds behind the door I knock on it politly and await an answer. |
| Myranthor07-20-03, 09:59 PM | Through the door, Serith hears someone standing up and walk calmly to the door. The door opened, revealing a woman with dark hair and navy eyes. She wears a white dress, the which, strangely, conceals her advantageous forms. "Yes? What is it, mister? Was not the brothel closed for the day?" she asked with her delicate voice, seemingly afraid. |
| Serith07-20-03, 10:11 PM | I smile, trying to calm the girls fears the best I can. "Yes dear, It is closed. I'm here to learn a few things and I was wondering if you would mind answering a few questions? (After a brief second of thought) I'm talking to everyone but Lucy said you'd be a good person to start with." He waits patiently for her answer, not moving any closer so as not to scare or intemidate the seemingly frightened girl any more. |
| Myranthor07-20-03, 10:21 PM | "Questions?About the..." She stops for speaking, trying to catch breath again. With time, she finally managed to mumble : "..'tis okay, enter. Excuse me, however, I am not really presentable at the moment. " She sat, or rather let herself fall down, her bed. Pointing a chair in the little room, she offers Serith a place to sit down. "What is it you want to know? and why?" |
| Serith07-20-03, 10:29 PM | He smiles again at her remark about "presentable" as he enters her room and sits in the chair. "No, no dear, you look fine like that. Sadly, you have guessed right, I am asking questions about what happened. But I'm really interested more in what you know. Did you know Utia very well, and could you tell me some about her? Anything you could remember would be helpful, especially if you saw anything weird happen here before her....untimely death." |
| Myranthor07-20-03, 10:40 PM | "I don't know what I coukld tell you. In fact, I do not really know why Lucy sent you here. I barely knew Utia. I wouldn't dare approach her. She was a tiefling, you know, and...Well, I didn't want to know her, that is all! I am really sorry, sir, but I am not the most sociable person around. In fact, I must be the most solitary girl of this place. If you want, though, I can offer you a small list of the girls around, but probably can not offer much help aside from that." She went to a small table by Serith chair, opening a desk and taking out a piece of parchment, a vial of ink and an inkpen. She scribbled over the parchment, on which you can distinguish 9 names. Lyse (patronness) Lucy (eldest) Urphe (Utia's sister0 Tyrra Bushi (sune's follower) Sandra (elven maiden) Degdra (dwarf) Tulma Lara |
| Serith07-20-03, 10:46 PM | After looking the list over I smile. "Well that is enough help I suppose. But before I go, do you mind me asking you a personal question? You seem sad, care to tell me why? If you don't it is ok, but I find a person to talk to is sometimes the best way to solve a problem." |
| Myranthor07-20-03, 11:00 PM | She turned on Serith, calmly, and then she exploded! "WOULDN'T YOU?" she (obviously) shouted."Utia's my neighbor here. Her room is just on the other side of that rotten plank, behind your back. During the night, I heard all sort of sounds...she was working, you know. And then, suddenly, nothing. The complete silence. The man left the room, and this morning, we found her body suspended in midair. Is it a coincidence? Men passed in her room often enough... What happened, do you think?" "This is horrible, mister. Not only because she died, but because...it's like that every night. Every night, we may end up with a criminal, a cutthroat or, who knows, a researched assassin and invite him in our beds. This agony starts again every time the sun settles down. " Lara stopped her monologue for now. Lowering her head, she sobbed again, and among those a few words rose. "This could even hapen to me." |
| Serith07-20-03, 11:06 PM | Briefly astonished by her outburst I try to remain calm as she seems to settle down again. Confused and frustrated, and feeling a bit like I should be defending her I ask "Then why do you stay here? A lovly girl like you should have a husband, one who loves you the way you deserve. You shouldn't be here dealing with every bit of riffraft that comes in off the street." I fight the urge to run over and hug this poor girl who seems so defensless in a place like this. Why is she here, she deserves better?! I keep telling myself this as I await her answer. |
| Agudo Archmage07-21-03, 12:48 AM | (((Flashback Before The Death))) As Lady Hoot was resting near by in their room, Agudo passed back and forth, trying to find away, to help the young maiden Lara. “I’ve got it!” he snaps his fingers as he stops walking. “I give the young lady a scholarship to my school” the wizard looks into the mirror, with a satisfied look on him. “Now lets see where is her room? Oh NO! I didn’t ask before I left her” Agudo did not know that the doors to the prostitutes had their names on it. “Well not a problem Agudo old boy, whats the use of being not just a wizard but an Archmage of Light at that” Agudo winks at himself as he glanced once again in the mirror. “Now where did I put my blue and white robe? Ahh there they are” With that he put them on, and thinking he might as well give Lara the full mighty wizard look. He grabbed his magic rings and crown. “Very nice, if I do say so myself, now all I need is my magic staff.” Agudo mumbles a few words, and with a flash of light it appears in his hand. “Well let’s see, I believe some magic fairy dust, should take me to her room. All I have to do is say her name.” But as he sprinkles the fairy dust from the small pouch, he drops it on the ground. POOF! “Oh my!” Agudo bends down to get it and breathes in the dust. “Oh that tickles my nose, Ahhh, Ahhh, no, Ahh NO! AHHH..((NUUUTTIIIAA….CHOOOOO)) Without realizing it the Archmage of Light had sneezed a word that sounded like ((UTIA)) The magic did its best to interpret the meaning, and with a blue and white light flash of energy, Agudo was gone. The wizard materialized in another room, but when the swirling energy stopped, Agudo was face to face with kneecaps of another person. “A leg?” Agudo eyes widen as he followed the legs up to see a woman, hanging by a rope around her small, and now bloody neck. “BY THE LIGHT!” Agudo screamed but as he moved his foot he slipped on the puddle of blood. SPLAT! Agudo hits the ground hard, knocking one of his ((RINGS)) off his fingers and under the bed. His CROWN flew behind a chair as his head hit the floor. “I….no…….but…..how” The wizard studiers as he got up and slipped again. Agudo says some magic words, and starts to float above the ground only by a foot or so. He then opened the door to UTIA room, and floated back to his own room. Not realizing that very small droplets of blood, were falling from his feet, back to his room as well:confused: (((OOC ok Agudo is with everyone now, in normal time))) |
| Myranthor07-21-03, 08:45 AM | After Serith pronunces these words, Lara sneezes. "A husband? No, thank you. Men, sorry to offend you, are only interested in sharing the bedroom. The only men I know, with whom I've had interesting conversations, and an emerging relation, disappeared into the night. I guess they felt ashamed a young woman could speak so well...so much better than themselves. And if I stay here, it is because I need money to live. I came here alone, to study in the Exalted Academy of Tutor Jukhal. I needed to work to get a few pieces.." |
| Serith07-21-03, 09:21 AM | I frown slightly. "Your probaly right, most men are not in a relationship for intelgence, their more interested in what they get in bed. It's sad that you have to earn money here in order to go to school, but at least your earning the money on your own. It takes courage to do that. Hopefully some day you'll find a man whom appreciates your inteligence for what it is, unique and special." With a smile I stand and bow politly to this inteligent young lady. I then take leave of her presence and walk back into the hallway. I look at my list and try to compare it to the names on the doors. I see one door with a name on my list and couroisly I knock on the door...... |
| Myranthor07-21-03, 10:05 AM | You find yourself standing in front on a door, on which the name "Sandra" is finely written. Around it are sculpted leaves, remembering you she is the elf from your list. You knock politely at the door, waiting for an answer. **************************************** ************ Agudo the Archmage of Light is sleeping, trying to recuperate from his strange night. He slept until late in the morning, until someone knocks rather lightly at his door. (OOC: Agudo, I thought it would be better if you met like that. I add that I have my d10 blessings, and I do not want to confront my dice. ) |
| Serith07-21-03, 10:16 AM | ((OOC: ALL BOW TO THE ALMIGHTY D10! HAIL D10!    )) |
| Agudo Archmage07-21-03, 12:42 PM | The Knocking at the door brought Agudo out of his haze. "What? Where? Who?" Agudo's head had a lump on it, he felt dizzy, he looked around and wondered where was Lady Hoot? "Just a second" Agudo said as loud as his head would let him. He got up and slowly opened the door, and saw? |
| Serith07-21-03, 12:59 PM | Hearing the male voice behind the door confused me slightly. This is supposed to be Sandra's room and there shouldn't be any other guys in here. When door opens I see a stranger dressed in blue and white robes, looking throughy messed up and confused. The guy looking out the door see's a man of average height, wearing a dark blue robe. Something about him looks familiar, but The archmage of Light can't place his fingure on it. "Hello sir. Is Sandra in?" |
| Agudo Archmage07-21-03, 08:19 PM | The wizard looked around, as if wondering if he was in the right room. Then back at the man at the door. "Um No!......Who? Sandra? This my room, I am renting it from this........hotel? Agudo says it in a way that sounds odd. he also looks a little embarrassed. “May I help you?” |
| Serith07-22-03, 09:21 AM | I grin as I relize this poor man thought this place was a hotel. Then I think to myself breifly, well this guy was here all night, maybe he heard something. "Well sir, acctually I'd like to ask you a few question if you don't mind. Can I come in?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-23-03, 03:25 PM | "A! Then i am on Abier-Toril once again!" The elf's face light with what seems to be the purest joy one can immagine... but just for a minute. Uppon hearing the "young man" part his facial expression changes to a childish giggling, but not for long either, for when the death is mentioned, he instantly regains a seriouse demeanor. "I am one with thy sorrow. I shall help, although my heart calls me east.." he pauses for a moment, his current expression would seem confused, to anyone who doesn't know better {that is to anyone who was born AFTER the Sixth Crownwar} "...May thou see, i was born here, in this very world, and not far from these lands! I grew here, learning, collecting, spreading and glorifying pleasure. During the last two centuries i called another place home; a far place, in another sphere, where they say the Rainbowdoor led! I thought not that i would ever return hence, before my closest journey west... ant there's more than one way to understand <West> in this particular case." "You say these are the dalelands, and if tis so, a week's journey east and two honest prayers may bring me to the places i knew like a human's knowlege of his own palm" He chuckles, but regains seriousness in a seckond. "And if it is Faerun we are on, thou shalst surely recognize the mark of Cathatara Rwalaer on my forehead - the joined lips of the Everdancing seldar, and Bastet. Her i revel in serving" "If none needs my presence herein now, i shall go to see the body, the room, and the rope connecting the two... perhaps these will alow me to see a less vague <rope> connecting the entire tale to a string i can follow." |
| Myranthor07-23-03, 03:55 PM | As the elf spoke with such eloquence, Lyse's traits softened. A slight smile upon her lips, she granted Dlaeh permission to inspect the body. ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ As he arrived in front of Utia's door, Seasutuil found it closed. The wooden sign on the door had been removed by the autorities, and to know someone died only a few hours ago in this room sent a chill down his elven spine. He entered the room, and saw a young woman, hanged with a hemp rope that was solidly attached to a beam standing 8 feet from the ground. A little chair laid down, probably kicked by Utia. Utia, once a beautiful tiefling, was now saddening to see. Her naked body was suspended in midair, gracious but frightening. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-23-03, 06:59 PM | OOC: A chill down his spine? Verry unlikely. Oiovoronda raises his hand, about to say the words that will bring the body's face to peace, but stops himself, for the cause of the... well, cause. Thus he only sais a short prayer for the wh... i mean for the courtesan's soul to find peace. He then begins to examin the body, lifting it a little, to see wether its weight is sufficient to close the rope's tie as it did. Eventually he takes it down from the rope, and lays it on the bed, wrapping the body in any clean cloth he can find, but leaving the face, and most importantly the neck, uncovered. "All obviousness is an illusion, and all curiosity is from the Feline of Felicity; doubt what no others do..." He passes his fingers along the human's neck, examining the rope's markings, and then closes his eyes, and dives, analizing the dead organism from inside, trying to find any other disfunctions, or deforms, fatal or otherwise, exept the obvious broken neck. His mental power manifests as a layer of smooth, hardly visible fur on his forehead and hands, as he analizes every organ, bone, muscle, and vein, looking for the slightest hint of a possible death-cause or injury, other than the rope-broken neck. |
| Myranthor07-23-03, 07:49 PM | When Seasutuil examined the rope, lifting the courtesan's body, he noticed nothing unusual. Time had passed, still, and now her body was as hard as steel. Succeding in untying the young lady from her rather uncomfortable position (not that she cares), he respectfully tok care of covering the body, honoring a deceased prostitute as he would honor a queen. Then he examined the lady's neck. It was broken, obviously, and the skin reddish due to the knot strangling it since the terrible night. It also had a few scratches here and there. Calling upon the powers of his own trained mind, Seasutuil plunged into trance, discovering and inspecting Utia's organs one after one. The priest discovered a few things of relative importance : Utia's liver held a few alcohol, she add a weakness in the left ankle, and had trouble seeing. These imperfections, however, were minor and common. They couldn't have caused death. |
| Agudo Archmage07-23-03, 10:50 PM | ((OOC Sorry I dont know how I did not see Serith post sooner)) "Well yes sir, I supose it would be all right. I am sorry for the mess, I have just woke up from a long sleep." Agduo points to a chair, and offer the man something to drink. "I am sorry what was your name again? I am a bit out of it right now. And what kind of information do you need? If it is about magic, or history then I am your man." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-24-03, 10:10 AM | "I wish Cathatara was not so reluctant to allow her cubs audience with the departed... the woman could have told much. Then again, is my being here not a way of comuning with those who are no more?" Oiovoronda shrugs and looks at the dead one once again. "With the touch of a Ravid, let this mortal rest on pillows of cloud, Sharess..." {Insecrate} the woman's features smoothen, as if she died in the best conditions, and from some quick, painless, and even tasty poison. He looks about the room, checking inside and under the bed; any containers, and even feels the walls across, but without payng maximum attention: finding something here would be banal. Then he exits the door, walks through the corridor out of the brothel, and sits down near the entrance, looking around, mostly at people, and thinking of possible courses of action. These are daffinately the realms... but not the way he left them. Change is always welcome, but in this case, it is somewhat unnerving... temporal anomalities could be an explanation, but... he wishes it wasn't THE explanation. "Hold, why am i dressed as a martyr of Illmater?" He recalls his last adventure, and remembers. "I shan't think of vestments before i help these dalesmen, yet some things have to go." The elf throws his hood back, touches the places where his sleeves are attached to the rest of the robes, chanting "A quiet Paww on curtains Old..." {Flaw} The sleeves, as well as the outern layer of the robes drop to the ground, leaving the sharessit in a simple brown tunic. |
| Agudo Archmage07-24-03, 01:03 PM | Before Serith could reply Agudo looks at his hand. "What happen to my ring?" and then he touches his head. "Oh my! what did I do with my crown?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-24-03, 03:45 PM | After a short while, Oiovoronda gets up, and walks back in, a first-shot plan in his mind. He passes the corridor, but then notices an opened door, with a sleepy mage inside, and a human standing at the door; Both males. The sharessit leans against the wall opposit to the doorway, and observes for a while. |
| Serith07-25-03, 11:04 AM | I look at the mage, whom seemed slightly confused. "Well my Name is Serith and you look very confused. Tell me, where was the last place you where last night? Maybe you left your crown and ring there???" I wait expectently for the man to answer me, though I have a feeling I know where he was. I kept wondering if any information I could get from this Archmage would be useful. |
| Agudo Archmage07-25-03, 12:27 PM | “Um…..Well…..Um…..Oh Yes! I was in my room, and the last thing I remember was trying to pick up my bag of pixy dust, that I had dropped. Then…….I…….Um……Well?” Agudo scratches his head. “Strange I cant seem to remember any thing after that. |
| Serith07-26-03, 12:54 PM | "Where you trying to go somewhere? That's what pixie dust is normally used for by wizards, am I correct? Maybe you sneezed and said the wrong name?? I'd be glad to help you look for your ring and crown." I smiled charmingly at the wizard, though my real thoughts were that I needed to keep an eye on this man. Something was not right with a wizard who thinks this is a hotel and can't remember where he was last night. And I figure if no one saw him, and he has no aliby that anyone can back up, then I had my first suspect to something I was beging to doubt was an actual suicide. |
| Agudo Archmage07-26-03, 11:30 PM | As the Serith spoke, Agudo thought about it. “Lets see I do know that the “Dust” is a strong hallucination drug if taken in its raw form. And defiantly if you breathe it in.” The Wizard scratched his head again. “ To be honest, I can’t remember what took place after I picked it up.” Agudo seems to think hard, about what took place. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-27-03, 12:08 PM | The one who till now was standing behind Serith, leaning against the wall, now steps towards the two, and shortly lays his right hand on the wizard's forehead. "Muaralee tralhir vazsath, Cathatara Rwalaer" {Lift} he speaks the prayer, without bothering to present himself. If the mage's mind is indeed affected by any long-lasting {24 hours or more} effect, all such effects should now be lifted at the whim of Zandilar & Bastet. |
| Agudo Archmage07-27-03, 12:36 PM | As Agudo talks with one fellow another comes up behind him and….. ”Who’s touching me?” Suddenly the stranger behind Agudo mumbles a few words “AHH the BLOOD and DEAD WOMAN” the wizard screams. He then promptly faints  |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-27-03, 01:51 PM | Seasutuil Oiovoronda, from even his earliest childhood in the eastern areas of Cormanthor, and through all of his life, never abbandoned the path of curiosity, and as such, he is used to the ocasional oups-provoking result. Still, it never stopped him from being surprised - surprise is the seasoning of life. And indeed, surprise is now all over the elf's face... but only for the moments it takes for him to get the closest conclusion, and the ideal thing to say, which he then says, in only a slightly worried voice: "Bring him water and incense, dear man, his memory holds a trauma we shall cure and gain khowlege from, be swift, i shall try to help him in this state meanwhile." He reffers to Serith, and regardless of the latter's responce, tries to lay the mage in a comfortable position, and make sure Agudo's current state carries no hazard to the "patient". |
| Serith07-27-03, 10:45 PM | Bringing the elf what he asked for I concider the mage's word's. Blood and body, well that makes no sense, she hung herself. Which must mean the blood the mage found was his own. I ponder this briefly as the elf helps the fainted mage out. I suddenly blurt out. "You might want to check to see if he has any new wounds. The girl strangled herself, so whatever blood he saw was not her's." |
| Agudo Archmage07-27-03, 10:48 PM | The mage lay there, going in an out, mumbeling about many things. Body...... Hoot.........bread....... he then became very still. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-28-03, 09:57 AM | "Make sure he drinks, be carefull not to drown him, light the incense, his spirit will be sooner bound to the body, i know not how severe his void-slumber is..." Oiovoronda glanced at the water, lifting half of it telekinetically, and in the form od a thick mist holding it around the mage's body, then closes his eyes and makes the same scanning he performed on the victim earlier. Should he find anything wrong, he'll try to reactivate any lazy functions such as HEARTBEAT or BREATHING, and tend to any wounds. |
| Agudo Archmage07-28-03, 12:00 PM | Suddenly Agudo coughs and opens his eyes, and with a startled look sits up and stands. “Oh my I must have fainted, thank you all for your help” The wizard then looks to the new person, and seems surprised to see him. “Who might you be?” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-28-03, 01:45 PM | Oiovoronda is snapped from his trance by the mage's revival, and the watery mist around his "patient" instantly falls, somewhat wetting the bed. "Dost thou feel all right? Please, tell us first whatever ye recall of this: what made thou collapse?" |
| Agudo Archmage07-28-03, 07:45 PM | Agudo seems uncomfortable and somewhat embarrassed. “Oh my I have wet my bed, I haven’t done that since I was a chilled.” But then the stranger, who has yet to give his name to Agudo; asks for more information on what he knows. At that the wizard becomes more agitated, and despondent. “Who me? why do you ask? And who are you?…………..Do I know you?……….What have you done with Lady Hoot?” Agudo shakes his fist at the man and becomes angrier by the moment. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-29-03, 08:45 AM | "I am Seasutuil Oiovoronda, priest of Cathatara Rwalaer, here by her whim to help this festhall in its trouble. If the lady thou mentioned is one of the employees herein, it shan't be hard to find her, be it a companion of thine, i shall look for her once the earlier matter is solved. Please, ye mentioned blood and a body before thy collapse. A woman's death is puzzling us all, will thou not aid us by telling what thy own sence bears? Worry not of ye bed, t'was but a means of ensuring thy wellfare after thou hast fainted." He looks at the mage with somewhat mothering eyes, and his tone is now that of a slightly worried nun. |
| Serith07-29-03, 09:30 AM | After doing what this odd cleric like person tells me to do I stand back as the strange mage awakes. When the mage mentions the name Lady Hoot I gasp. o O(Lady Hoot? That must mean he's Agudo the Archmage! I've heard much about him, though what would a good person like him be doing in a place like this?) I keep these thoughts to myself as the elf answers Agudo's questions. I watch carefully for any reactions Agudo might have to the elf's questions. |
| Agudo Archmage07-29-03, 11:40 AM | The wizard calms himself and after a moment snaps his fingers. He begins to levitate a few feet off the ground, in a sitting position. “I can only remember a few things, like when we got here Lady Hoot thought the place odd, but I said its just a Hotel that rents by the hour.” Agudo seems embarrassed about that and turns red. “Anyway now that I know the truth, thanks to a young girl working here.” Agudo eyes dart back and forth from both people. “ What I meant to say was, that she told me about what this place really is….. a concubine house” The wizard says this almost to silently to hear. “I really had know idea, until the sweet girl told me, as I was taking my bath with her…”Cough”…….um ….. “ Agudo slaps his head. “Lets just say she was in the room, but not in the bath with me” Agudo didn’t seem to be helping himself. He thought. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-29-03, 03:36 PM | "I beg of thee to continue ye tale, there is no shame to be felt in mutual pleasure!" |
| Agudo Archmage07-29-03, 05:28 PM | Agudo did not know what to say, for the word {Pleasure} as the gentleman said, made it sound like he did something with her. Agudo looked at Seasutuil and Serith with a bit of fluster. “I am an Archmage of Light, I would not have pleasure with that woman, I did not know until after I got in the water, that she and….and….this place! Was.. or is a place of pleasure. The wizard takes a deep breath. “Now as far as the blood…..?…?…..” His eyes widen, as he remembers. “The blood! it was on the floor!….and…. I slipped and …. Hit my head on the ground…and….? At that Agudo stopped, trying to jar what came next. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai07-29-03, 08:37 PM | "Do light and pleasure not walk side by side within thy soul and mind, archimagus?" asks the elf with both respect and lite surprise in his tone. "Was that the door of lady Utia where the blood was? If another, may thou recall which? Pry tell all thou art able to... tis importaint to many." |
| Agudo Archmage07-29-03, 10:48 PM | “As Serith listens and Seasutuil grills Agudo over the coals, the wizard begins to sweat. “Yes you see I was trying to go to a different room, when my spell went off and I appeared in Utia room; and she was hanging….um around?” :P Agudo shakes his head. “What I meant to say is she was hanging dead, and the blood was under her feet. I tried to back up…..but slipped as I said.” The wizard seems sad for a moment. “ I tried to get help……. But then I became dizzy and…. Then that’s when I fell a sleep…. I suppose at least. Its kind of fuzzy after that.” |
| Myranthor08-01-03, 12:00 AM | As Agudo is slowly interrogated by Seasutuil, a lovely elf maiden enters the room, seemingly surprised at the sight of the three adventurers in her room. She did wear a lovely, green night dress. Contrarily to Lara, he seemed to enjoy her own pudity while not working, the member of the Fair Folk is quite an outrageous view. On the front of the dress were holes having the form of entwined leaves, exposing the soft, gloden elven skin to most eyes. The dress' cleavage didn't let much to imagination, while the long legs exiting from under the vestment quite excited it. the shoulders and even the back of the damsel were completely bare of any silk. However, those were beautifully coevered by her long, green curving hairs, that flooded from her head like a river in an alpine terrain. Resorting from those like stars, two saphirre-shaped and colored eyes watched everything that happened in the room. "I am sorry men, " she did say with her charming voice, sweet honey slowly covering and melting your hearts. "but I heard I only offered my room to one of you. The first thing I get to know iss that three of you are partying within now? " She didn,t said such things agressively. In fact, she had a genuine look on her face, as if she was just teasing you. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-01-03, 12:43 AM | o O (I do not forfeit my efforts, i am merely looking the other way for a short time while the poor human recovers.) With this thought in his mind, Seasutuil turns to the elven lady "Although at a different time twould be proper of the three of us to cover thy sweet body with gentlest kisses, our immidiate reason of being here is different. Thy colleague Utia departed, as if by her own will, yet many are those who feel such a departure stands against the fur of her life as it is known. These two apanonaredan and i all wish to help this festhall in discovering ye true cause of such apparent self-murder. Would thou know of a way to guide us?" His voice is gentle, with signs of both wory and passion. |
| Myranthor08-01-03, 09:20 AM | Sitting on her own bed, one leg curled under her body, Sandra's expression passes from enthusiastic to sad. "This is indeed quite an interesting story we have here. Poor Utia. She sure had her lot of problems, but it would not be her style of ending it all in such a dreaded way. She was really agressive, and would never surrender .I do not really think I could help you with that case. Still, I... Oh no, forget about that. I apologize for your wasted time." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-01-03, 10:56 AM | "Any time spent in thy company can seldom be <wasted> one. Please spare none, tell us what ever thoughts come to thee, oh beautyfull." |
| Agudo Archmage08-01-03, 12:56 PM | As the Archmage of Light listens to this Don Juan detective; Agudo cant help but roll his eyes. “With all do respect the…to… um Lady? I beg your pardon, for interrupting you. I would prefer that you Sir Seasutuil, leave me out of that three of a so-called kiss. The wizard indigently puts is hands on his hips, and huffs. “For I am a respected member of the Realms, a pillar of Righteousness; I have a reputation to up hold” Agudo holds up one finger as he finished. He then turns to the woman, and smiles. “Like Don Juan…I meant Seasutuil said please share what ever you wanted to tell us.” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-01-03, 01:25 PM | "I am sorry for touching thy shackles of lawfullness, dear man; I however like to hope that once this, more urgent matter is dissolved, thou will see that devotion to light as greate as thine is not to be chained and limited by such pettyness. All that brings joy, and harms no one is blessed. Aspecially if more than one are to revel in such joy... I would have thee read severalls scrolls, that i carry with me, devoted to the faith of Cathatara Rwalaer, or Zandilar as my childhood friends would name her, or Bastet as she is known withing the human empires to the south, or Sharess, as she is called in prayer." He begins taking out of his former robes, now reduced to a tunique, scroll aftr scroll, all within adorned wooden cases, and puts them on any availible surface. The rich adornment of these religeous thingies stands in direct controversy to his poor clothing and the nearly complete absence of coin in his posession, but goes well with the circlet on his head, and his appearance. |
| Agudo Archmage08-01-03, 01:40 PM | The Archmage of Light, turns away from the young lady on the bed, and reply's to Seasutuil. We can talk about your lustful religion and philosophy latter, for now I for one, would like to get to the bottom of what has happen here. Then if we have time, I can convert you to honor and faithfulness! Not pass a woman around to as many of a man, like cheap gift!” The wizard turns once more, to the woman on the bed. “This Angel should be cared for, respected, cherished! By one and one person alone, like two souls that become one in love! He smiles at her and gives a slight bow. “Please continue young lady, you were about to tell us something.” |
| Serith08-01-03, 02:14 PM | I lean up against the wall as Agudo and Seasutuil agrue about religion. Rolling my eyes I turn my sights on the lady who's room we are in. Sandra seemed content with letting the men argue, almost like she didn't want to answer our question. Fixing my stare at her I let my eyes go from their normal blue to a darker red. "Yes Sandra, please tell us what you can." I blink and my eyes go back to blue, almost like the color change had never happened. |
| Agudo Archmage08-02-03, 01:14 AM | Serith comes out of his shyness and speaks, asking the young woman to continue. jolting Agudo from his thoughts. "What?........Oh yes Serith! Good to see you with us." |
| Myranthor08-02-03, 10:06 AM | Sandra seemed quite amused by the two men devising about her. She blushed under Seasutuil's imaginative suggestions, but was obviously pleased to have met a man knowledgeable of Love, and not only passion. Still, all this faded away when you asked the dreaded question. "I guess I have to answer. Some would say it is my duty after all. Well, you probably know by now that Utia's sister lives here as well. The fact is, two tieflings, staying consistently together, it will produce sparks. I do know they were constantly violently arguing, especially about their younger brother. It is just my suspicions, however. I have no evidence that Urphee could be behind that horror." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-02-03, 05:56 PM | Seasutuil nods, understanding. "Multiversars... they seldom find a common tongue among themselves, and to tell truth, ne'er did i meet muliversars... err... <tieflings> who know and admit theyr blood relation, actually living as a family. Six hundreds years of seeking for experiences, enlightment, and all other forms of divine fullfillment, along with the striving to bring joy into every life, and yet am i surprised now, as thou telleth me of three multiversars making theyr life together, acnowleging theyr sieblinghood... And awefull as it may sound, we shall do well by exploring such an option: one of us shall speak to the syster, and one to the brother. Tell us more of these, so we can assign ye right one of us for each." In his heart seasutuil hopes that atleast one of the tieflings' personalities will suit him more than the others. Ofcourse, he wants to help, but no one said he can't get the kick of a new discovery for himself out of it, and his surprise and positive anxioucy from hearing about the tiefling family were genuine. "Oh, and arwenamin Shandhearai, whatever else thoughts thou hast of this, please, do tell, and fear not, for we will not ye misuse of thy words, and i shall see to keeping both edar from any overly swift deeds or desidions." |
| Serith08-02-03, 08:58 PM | I listen carefully to what Sandra has to say, then what Seasutuil commets about. Realizing that he knows more about this then I do, so I decide to just do as he says. If he believes he knows the best way to handle this then I would follow his lead. Suddenly I have and Idea and speak up. "I have a list of names that I was told to speak to. (Shows list to Agudo and Seasutuil) I've already spoken to Lyse, Lara, and Lucy, and we're speaking with Sandra now so if you guys want to speak with Urphe and her brother I could go speak with Tyrra." I wait for thier reaction. ((Here's the list again so you don't have to look back for it.)) Lyse (patronness) Lucy (eldest) Urphe (Utia's sister0 Tyrra Bushi (sune's follower) Sandra (elven maiden) Degdra (dwarf) Tulma Lara |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-02-03, 09:36 PM | "Perhaps if the honorable archwizard..." {Oiovoronda makes a light, but honsetly respectfull bow towards Agudo} "...could agree to carry the burdain of speaking to Bushi, I would take both multiversars and Degdra. Ye other two will remain for wee later, unless lle astalder..." {he turns towards serith with a respectfull glance} "... wisheth to converse with one of them soon as now." |
| Agudo Archmage08-03-03, 01:39 AM | "Um.....No.... I am not feeling at all well and should find my room and my crown....Oh my, and my ring" Agduo looks at his hand again. With that Agudo goes looking for Lucky number seven his temporary room. "I hope Hoot is ok?" Agudo says some what out loud as he wander the halls. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-03-03, 09:30 AM | Oiovoronda raises an eyebrow, higher than you thought any humanoid can. "So much for thy devotion to light and altruism, Agudo?" The genuin respect and honor faded from his voice instantly, replaced with fathering sternity. "Had i not promissed to find thy friend AND thy... jewels, immidiately after we solve this matter?" |
| Agudo Archmage08-03-03, 12:29 PM | As Agudo walked down the hallway, looking for his room. He mumbled a reply, to the Don-Juan detective. “Yes I remember, but I am not feeling well and its very kind of to help. If you find it I will give you some type of reward of some such trinket” The wizard turns the corner, and find the his room. When he opens the door he finds??? ((OOC A great moment for a DM to bring a twist to the story)) |
| Serith08-03-03, 01:04 PM | I think briefly to myself then turn to Seasutuil "Sure, I'll do it your way. But I just had a though, maybe he lost his crown and ring in Utia's room? If he was there and fell maybe he dropped them there." I watch carefully as Agudo goes looking for ""His Room"" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-03-03, 01:26 PM | "A tempting thought to have when the one bearing such an immage of utter goodness suddenly holds his jewels above the possibility to help another soul, yet i have been in Utia's room, and found naught... Then again, perhaps together we may notice what i alone overlooked. Perhaps we should follow him secretly?" |
| Serith08-03-03, 07:38 PM | I nod my concent to Seasutuil's ida. "Yes, following him would seem right at this point. (I turn towards Sandra.) Thank you for the information Sandra." I bow politly to Sandra and turn to leave. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-03-03, 07:58 PM | After a short prayer of sanctuary for him and his new ally, Seasutuil thanks Sandra again, and follows Serith, trying to deflect attention of the mage and others from the two of them, using his clever little skills. |
| Serith08-03-03, 08:47 PM | Wrapping my cloak closer to me I stick to the shadows of the wall. With Seasutuil's cleaver tricks and the poor lighting in the brothel makes it easy for us to hide and hopefully sneak behind Agudo undetected...allowing us to see what he's really up to. |
| Myranthor08-03-03, 10:42 PM | Agudo, followed by the two shadows espousing the walls, made a rapid trip around the exquisite brothel. He didn't, however, find any room without one of the name marked on the list Serith held in his hand. Upon his return next to Sandra's room, he was charmingly received by a closed door. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-03-03, 11:08 PM | Seasutuil lifts his other brow, and then puts both eyebrows down. He sends a small telepathic message to Serith: ~Walking in circles is not a very efficient way to escape unwanted attention, and i don't really think he is aware of us... Why would he circle thus?~ |
| Agudo Archmage08-04-03, 12:53 PM | As Agudo opens the door, he sees that it Sandra room again. “Oh my now what? I seem to be lost” Agudo looks more confused than ever, and he walks aimlessly about. Just then he turns and looks at one door in particular. With a shrug of his shoulders he opens the door. He walks inside and sees that someone is on the bed. When the wizard comes closer he gets a better look at the woman. “I am sorry to wake you but…… Agudo eyes go wide. “But how?” he looks at the bed to the ceiling, and to the bed again “How did you…..get….. Agudo promptly faints. He had found Utia room. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-04-03, 04:24 PM | Seasutuil, who was following the human archmage together with Serith, jumps to catch the falling Agudo, once he realizes the man is about to faint, but succeeds in doing so at some expence: He catches Agudo, keeping him from hitting the floor, but hits it himself with all his body from the knees to the ribcage. It hurts. But atleast the mage's fall beared no damage thanx to the timely leap... "A, tis soon to become a habbit. I've half a mind to lay him next to Utia herself, and see how much times in a row can a human of middle age fall comatose and awaken... However i belive we should do the opposit, and secure other fragile psichs from shattering... Tear the rope from that cieling, if thou pleaseth" He gets up, lifting the magician in his arms, and turns to Serith, his hands slightly shaking under the weight, and his tone is relatively impatient. "I shall carry him to ye mistress of this festhall... a human's weight is much, yet not us much as this rope to pull out." Oiovoronda smiles wearily at Serith, changes his hold, to carry Agudo more comfortably, and begins slowly dragging him towards Lyse's room; The archmage's left arm over the priest's shoulder, and the priest's right arm around Agudo's torso, he processes towards the mistress' room as quickly as his age-affected strength alows him. |
| Myranthor08-04-03, 05:09 PM | However, at his greater dismay, Seasutuil found Lyse's door open (that is, if he tried to open it), but the room itself was empty of her presence. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-04-03, 06:04 PM | Seasutuil puts the mage on the bed, and sits on the floor near the bed, to make sure nothing happens to him untill he wakes up. |
| Agudo Archmage08-04-03, 07:38 PM | The wizard slowly opens his eyes and smiles, as he sees that he is awakening on a bed. “Ahh it must have been a dream.” Agudo stretches and shifts positions “Lady Hoot your not going to believe this but I had this….. strange….. dream?” Agudo sits up. “Lady Hoot? Oh my, another room.” The wizard is completely perplexed at this turn off events. |
| Serith08-05-03, 01:36 PM | I watch Seasutuil struggle carrying Agudo out of the room, then turn to the rope. I give it an experimental tug to see how strong it is. Strangly enough it comes right of the ceiling without much struggle. I lay it carefully next to Utia's body on the bed so that it may be inspected later, then inspect the room for myself. I'm hoping to find a clue to as what happened in here last night, but even just finding the stuff Agudo lost would be a plus at this point, hopefuly he'd then join us in looking for any possible clues. |
| Myranthor08-05-03, 02:44 PM | Sadly, you find nothing Seasutuil have not already found in Utia's room. |
| Serith08-05-03, 06:39 PM | Disapointed I head to where Seasutuil is waiting with Agudo. I make it to the doorway as the Archmage is waking up...again.... |
| Agudo Archmage08-05-03, 06:52 PM | Agudo stands and just looks at the other two. He seems unsure of what to do. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-05-03, 08:11 PM | Oiovoronda puts a hand on the human's shoulder, to draw his attention, and says, just a wee bit more dryly thatn his usual soft and caring tone of speech: "We have not found Lady Hoot yet, and i am sorry. For a promiss to join our searches afterwards, i will listen to thy dream and help thee resolve it." |
| Agudo Archmage08-05-03, 10:15 PM | The wizard thinks about it and shrugs. "Well off we go then." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-06-03, 12:23 PM | As the trio of archmage, priest, and dra... ugh... i mean... Anyway, as the trio of an elf and two humans walks through the corridor, Seasutuil speaks: "As i said, my fellows, if the least endurable of us..." {Oiovoronda glances shortly at Agudo, with a rather cinycal expression} "...could agree to carry the burdain of speaking to Bushi, I would take both multiversars and Degdra. Ye other two will remain for wee later, unless lle astalder..." {he turns towards serith with a small but honest bowing gesture} "... wisheth to converse with one of them soon as now." Hardly waiting for a responce, Seasutuil paces towards the nearest of his two chosen rooms {Degdra or Urphe}. |
| Agudo Archmage08-06-03, 01:21 PM | The Archmage of Light shrugs his shoulders ,and looks for the door Bushi. As he comes to the door, he knocks and waits for someone to open the door. |
| Serith08-06-03, 01:25 PM | I also shrug my shoulders and look at the names on the doors. The first one I see is Tulma's. I knock on her door and await an answer..... ((OOC: Hey Myran dear! I hope you weren't kinding about haing all these people worked out for the story, because it looks like thier all going to get questioned after all! )) |
| Myranthor08-06-03, 08:46 PM | (OOC: If someone might offer me some synonyms for the word "door", I would be really happy about it. ) Seasutuil As he looked around, Seasutuil saw the name Urphe handcrafted on the door leading to the room neighboring Utia's. He might be surprised as the proximity those two multiversars, as he calls them, shared. A skinny woman, with a nervous, rat-like tail, answered the door. Answered might not the most correct term, though. She only snapped "We serve no one today, come back later!" and slapped the portal so hard it moved on its hinges. AGUDO When Agudo knocked lightly on the wooden door, he could not help but to wonder what kind of creature would come and open this door for him. This was a place where darkness lurked at every corner, and he knew he could not trust any of these harlots, so prone to sell everything they had. What was his suprise when a lovely half-elf, bearing red hair around her lovely figure, asked him in a melodious tone "What can I do for you, sir?" SERITH When you knock at Tulma's room, you get to wait for a long timeé So long, you thought about getting back and meet with the other members of your party, when the door slighlty opens. "Yes? Who'sthere?" asked a young, female voice. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-08-03, 08:46 AM | {{OOC: Entrance, or use parts of the door, like doorframe, treshold, et c... I'm sorry for the long delay btw... see explanation in Dyverside's ooc tavern.}} Seasutuil's reaching fingers hurt notably as the door hit them, but it could be much wors if they got betuin the shutting door and its frame. As the mousie's door shuts close, the elf murmurs a few words, and soon becomes blurred and transparrent, as well as visible to those who are... well... elsewhere. In his ethereal form, he makes a single step through the closed door, and immidiately regains corporealness within Urphe's room. He wouldn't like to waste Sharess' favor on such mundane musings. He bows slightly to the courtesan, and then speaks smoothly: "It is not to share immidiate pleasure with thee that i have come for, my lady. I wish to speak to thee... of thy departed syster." He wears an expression of something betuin light grief and strong sympathy on his face and in his tone of speech. |
| Agudo Archmage08-08-03, 12:20 PM | The Archmage of Light waits patiently for the door to be open. He wonders what surprises waits on the other side. When suddenly a lovely redhead opens the door, and pleasantly offers her services. Agudo gives humble bow and smiles. “Greeting young lady, I am Agudo the Archmage of Light. I have come “Not” for your services, but to ask you a few questions if I may?” Without waiting Agudo asked away rather rapidly. “Fist have you seen a white owl by the name of Lady Hoot? Also I am missing a ring and small magical crown, do happen to know where they are? Then there is the big question, did you know who killed the other….um other concubine that worked here? Agudo thinks for a moment, as he looks up at the ceiling and then nodded his head. “Yes that’s everything I wanted to ask…….so do you?” |
| Myranthor08-08-03, 02:38 PM | Seasutuil "She've only got what she deserved" shouted the tiefling hysterically. "She lost most of her senses before her departure, and it is a blessing for her to have begone before much people noticed it." Urphe was not exactly aware of your presense in the room, nor of what you said earlier. In fact, she seems to be evacuating a few thoughts she had since some times, but never had the occasion of saying. AGUDO "I am sad, mister, for I am unable to provide you with a different answer to each of your many questions. The only word I know that fit all of these is "no"". Perhaps may you enter, and narrate me the tale of your many losses?" |
| Serith08-08-03, 03:51 PM | o O(What a wonderful voice...) Shaking that though from my head I answer the young ladies' question. "Hello, my names Serith. I was wondering if you had time to answer a few questions about Utia's death?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-08-03, 09:28 PM | Seasutuil just keeps standing there, offering an ear to whatever emotions and thoughts the tiefling feels like shedding. He listens, and should he notice a tear, he will surely wipe it gently, and comfort the mouseytailed one he never met before with a soft hugg. |
| Agudo Archmage08-08-03, 11:44 PM | “Oh my that is disappointing!” the befuddle wizard said. “So you know nothing that seemed odd, or out of place, before or after her death?” Agudo walks into the room looking around. |
| Myranthor08-09-03, 10:24 AM | Seasutuil You'll probably never have to wipe a tear from urphe's figure, as she is more angered than saddened. The view of a crying tiefling must be a rare one indeed, and it is not today that Seasutuil will have the opportunity of claiming to have witnessed it. The multiversar, turning to face you, cross her arms on her chest, looking at you agressively. "It looks like I have no choice but to support your presence, elf. You said you had to speak to me about that harlot that lived next door. Speak, what do you have to tell me?" AGUDO The lovely half-elf closed the door behind you, before focusing all of her attention unto you. You may wish to concentrate yours on what she says, however the translucid dress she is wearing may require deific efforts to do so. The interior is truly magnificent. The room is decorated with flowers, and paints adorn the walls all around you. Glass statues rest on many desks, but the most stunning of these stand over Bushi's comfortable bed. It is a replica of Sune's symbol 6 feet wide, made of garnet and other semi-precious stones. After offering you a seat, taking one of her own, she takes a few seconds to think carefully, probably remembering the events of the last few days. "I know, for sure, that something weird happened last night. A man, as is said, entered our establishment thinking it was a hotel. He stayed here, taking Sandra's room, the which let us both to sleep here, in mine. It was also weird that Sandra came with me, for she is usually fond of leaving the community, contrarily to most of the girls here. Directly concerning Utia, though, I can not see a lot of things that happened lately. There have been constant tensions between utia and the other girls- she was still a tiefling, mind you. However, I am aware that yesterday she had a violent argument with Lara. That's all I can think of, really. " "I am not implying anything now, milord." she added, quite violently. "I am just teling the facts, nothing more. It would be silly to put a blame on Lara for such a tragedy." SERITH Through the door still, the voice asked: "Are you sent by Lyse? What do youw ant to know exactly?" By a small opening, you're able to distinguish Tulma. She is not even a woman, netiher a poor girl. Slowly is she ascending to the former and leaving the latter's influence, yet it is apparent that her current lifestyle does not fit well with the transition period she curently have to confront. |
| Agudo Archmage08-09-03, 12:25 PM | The comment about a guest thinking this was a hotel brought Agudo out of his thoughts. “Yes well my dear, I am sure that….Um…guest, made an honest mistake, and it happens to a lot of people!” Agudo waved his hands for infuses. “Now why would you find it odd that your temporary room mate, would stay here with you?” Does she have another place to go to?” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-09-03, 08:31 PM | Seasutuil speaks as calmly and gently as possible: "I would like to know all thou can say about Urphe and thyself. Her life, where both of you came hence from, whatever notable agreements and dis-agreements you had betueen you... If thou hast any speculations as to the cause of her... self-departure, i would be more than thankfull to hear these, for i see not a way for anyone but thee to have a true idea. None could know her closer than thou." |
| Serith08-09-03, 11:36 PM | This child is interesting, she's not a woman nore a child, yet she seems to be both at once. How intriging.... "Yes Lyse sent me out to gather information, though she didn't specificaly send me to you. I decided to try your room on my own. I'm trying to get a feel for what kind of person Utia was. I'm also trying to figure out how well she was liked, and if there might have been anyone who would harm her here. Any information you can give me is greatly appreciated." I bow slightly out of respect to Tulma, trying to win her over with a little charm.. |
| Myranthor08-11-03, 12:01 PM | Seasutuil "Heh! This shall be a long story, man. Prepare yourself to dwell in horrors you never seen, nor heard, nor wish to be aware of. We are spawns of devils, that you must have guessed already. What you can not know, however, is that we were created during a ritualistic ceremony in the underworld, during a celebration called the dance of the whips. Under the tutelage of a loviatan cleric, the baatezu has been summoned, and had violently raped an innocent novice, too happy to become a bride of darkness to comlain about the claws madly cutting her skin as she was being fertilized. This woman bore three devilish offsprings: Utia, my brother Urak, and myself. I will skip over our early years : You don't want to know what happened during these times. All you need to know is that, a few months ago, my sister and I decided to flee from this place where we were considered half-gods, and half-slaves, for it was normal, in Loviatar's clergy, to mutilate those they held in high esteem. My brother, however, stayed there, swearing he would not betray us. He did not at first, but he paid dearly for that. He's been tortured since all this time, prisonner in the temple's jails, while the heads of the religion sent trackers after us. They did discover our hideout, but did not chase us down. They decided to be far more crueler than that. One of them approached us, weapons sheathed. He only told us that they still had our brother, and that he wouldn't be freed until we paid a massive ransom, something around a thousand gold pieces. And can you imagine what that bastard, that harlot did? It made nonsese, she lost all consciousness, in the name of the Ma9iden of Pain! She decided to pay back, damn. She wished to let us starve, to make us work here, offer our divine bodies to these awful, common men, and not use our hard-earned money! She just got what she deserved!" AGUDO Bushi crossed her fine legs, moving a delicate hand as she spoke. "Sometimes she does. It is indeed strange, for she is the only member of our association to do so. Most of us are alone, and rarely go out. The only who does so are her, Lara, and, must I admit, myself. " Serith As you mention the fact that you weere not sent specifiacally to her, the little girl frowns, but soon rolls her eyes, as if she found it normal, after all. She opens her door completely to you, yet stays in the porch, preventing you from entering the room. "Utia was well liked among customers, if this is what you mean. And such a situation led her to be disliked by her coworkers. The competition here is fierce and, at some extent, everyone would have a profit of killing her, only for the opportunity of winning her clients back. I know Tyrra was pretty angry at here, especially, because of all the men that fell for Utia because of exotism, but frankly, it benefits to all of us here." |
| Agudo Archmage08-11-03, 12:10 PM | Agudo ponder the words said by the young woman, and wonders about the location of this hideaway. "Thank you for telling me what you can, but just where is this place she goes to? |
| Myranthor08-11-03, 12:34 PM | "None of us know about it for sure. The word goes on, that Lyse may know something about it, but Sandra herself is pretty silent about her chronic disappearances. Despite being strongly present and sympathic in here, none of us know her better than superficially." |
| archNME08-11-03, 01:44 PM | "AHH, the brothel!! Now this is a true home for insparation that i crave so much." Said Fuleald reaching the doors of the abovementioned house of pleasures. Being beaten, rejected and shot with magical fire multiple times in the past few days the old men feels as if he would sell all his beliefs just so he could relax for a few blissful moments. "Give me a courtesean, a papyrus and a keg of GOOD dwarven beer and i shall die a happy follower of dirty gods!" While exclaiming so, Fuleald blindly rushes in through the main doors and than continues the rush through the first door his pair of eyes meet. Which happens to be the "Tulma" signed door. "Models for extensive paintings!, here I co...ufff" Thus said and thus fell Fuleald on the floor, tripped by some unknown sandaled leg. |
| Myranthor08-11-03, 03:12 PM | Looking up to see to who the unknown leg belonged, Fuleald distinguished a young man, probably in his late twenties. The man wore a chain shirt on which were pinned a few medals of courage. Obviously, he was a member of some authority in the city. "Heh good man, where are you going so hastily? This building is closed for the day, for cause of death. You are forbidden to enter until the next sunrise." |
| archNME08-11-03, 03:25 PM | "Excuse me, young man, but if you haven't noticed, i am a man with extreme need for relaxation, i will NOT wait until next sunrise or seek other premises since my overworked legs have trippen and beaten all day long!" loudly exclaims Fuleald. "I will do whatever it takes and pay any price just so you shall give me few, just a few! moments of seclusion and mutual peace with a beautiful lady. That's all I ask, Nothing more!" Now with less enthusiasim and more quiet a tone Fuleald continues "Please, good sir, relieve an old tired man whose legs carried peril and whose mind was overtaxed with costant danger for a long period of time now. I am ready to do any kind of service, even if it means extra sacrifice, I don't care, just let me through." |
| Myranthor08-11-03, 10:58 PM | "I am sorry sir, but this decision is not mine to take, and I can not leave guard duty. You would have to ask Lyse, the patronness, if you may enter, but I won't let you enter to ask her. What a difficult situation are we in, no?" He turned his head, looking in the interior of the luxurious brothel in hope of discovering someone that may lead him out of this rather annoying situation. Tulma's room being nearby, Serith made a perfect target for the guard's inquisitive eyes. "Hey you! The man with the dark, blue cape! I need your help for some time, so stop flirting with this child! This man here wants to enter, but can't do so without Lyse's approval. Still, I can't leave my position. You guess where I'm going to, huh?" |
| Agudo Archmage08-11-03, 11:07 PM | "I see, well thank you once more, I will talk with this Sonndra about the outside location, of the now dead worker." With that the wizard opens the door and bids her good day. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-12-03, 02:53 AM | Seasutuil's face express nothing but the deepest sympathy. It takes a rare case of faith to make a person grow to the age of over six hundred years, and remain a wise, experienced, and yet completely optimistic man. Oiovoronda is such a case, and we all know Elminster's words about the chance anyone has on surprising a 700 years old elf. Seasutuil looks at the mousie {ok, i can't stop calling her that, she's tasty!} with compassion untill he is sure that she had finished, and only then speaks: "I share in thy pain, Lady Urphe." He lowers his head to express serene and honest grief, then continues, while looking into her eyes again: "The two of you could reveal this cult to a true church; telling within a temple of Zandilar in time, what thou hast told me this moment, would grant thee the gold to secure thy brother, and the pleasure to watch these Lohiiatar'an agonize and fall betuin the playfull paws of Sharess!" "Instead of ye anathemic choice of granting pleasure on acount of thy own, thou could have done a greate act of goodness, giving this cravice of sin away to the ones who would save thy brother, and many others too, from theyr whips." |
| Serith08-12-03, 09:28 AM | As I was questioning Tulma this annoying guard yells to me to go find Lyse. I walk towards him "Well where i she man? I was just at her room, so I know she's not there. Any suggestions Young man..." I glare at him, not happy to have been intrupted for something as petty as this. Suddenly I get an idea. "Hey I tell you what. To get him out of your hair I'll escort him to Lyse myself so you don't have to worry about him." With a charming grin I grab the new guy and pull him pass the confused guard. With one arm securly hold onto the new guy I rush him away from the door guard. (Whispered to Fuleald ) "You picked a bad day to visit this brothel. One of the girls died last night. But I'll let Lyse tell you about it. Come on, let's go before that guard changes his mind!" With that I pull Fuleald to Lyse's room, praying she's there. |
| archNME08-12-03, 10:01 AM | Fuleald shruggs off Serith. "Ehem! Whatever happened in these premises doesn't mean you can act so and pull an old fragile man around!" A moment passed and Fuleald calmed down "Oh, terribly sorry, young man. I know you merely wished to help me. I apologize for any discomfort I brought upon you." He ponders for a moment and continues: "An unfortunate accident, you say?" |
| Serith08-12-03, 10:15 AM | "Well sir, it was either I pull you away from the door like I was in charge or you stand there all day arguing with that dim witted guard. Yes an...accedient of sorts. One of the girls, Utia, was found hung in her room this morning. The mistress refuses to believe she took her own life and has asked a few of us to look into it for her." I contuniue to lead the older man to Lyse's room. |
| Myranthor08-12-03, 11:28 PM | However, upon your arrival in Lyse's room, you discover it in pretty much the same state as it was during Seasutuil and Agudo's last visit : empty of her presence. |
| Agudo Archmage08-12-03, 11:32 PM | Agudo walks around looking for Sonndras room. "Now lets see, maybe this one?" A woman says a few colorful words and Agudo shuts the door. "Well thats one person not to happy about the loss in pay?" The wizard then sees the right door and knocks. |
| Bonze08-14-03, 04:11 PM | darn! Old priests abound in this brothel! |
| Myranthor08-14-03, 04:12 PM | Through the wooden panel, Agudo hears a soft voice he can recognize as property of the elven lady he met a while ago, who had been the object of quite an argument between Oiovondara and himself. "Sorry, but I'm occupied at the time being. Who is it? " |
| Agudo Archmage08-14-03, 09:56 PM | "Well it is I! the Archmage of Light. I have come seeking Sonndra, to ask her about a place to where the dead Utia would go." Agudo did not seem to be botherd by talking through a door. It was less awkward that way. |
| archNME08-14-03, 11:54 PM | "*sigh* What were you looking for, young one? There is not a single soul in this room. Besides, speaking of people, if customers are temporary rejected, how come you gained entrance? No offence meant, but you don't look like a little girl's errant boy nor like a 200 pound bouncer for that matter. Do explain." |
| Myranthor08-15-03, 09:06 AM | After you said your question, you waited for quite a few seconds, during which an awkward silecne installed itself. Then, you heard a seemingly perplex voice: "What?" |
| Agudo Archmage08-15-03, 12:37 PM | Agudo waits but all he gets is a {what} "If you open the door maybe we could talk a little more clearly?" He waits some more, enjoying the fine cut wood on the door. |
| Myranthor08-15-03, 01:04 PM | "I am currently busy! The which means currently unavailable, or also absent, impossible to speak with, and let me add that Amin n'uma quendi yassen lle ", did she add, in a perfect elven. "Can't you understand that?" |
| Agudo Archmage08-15-03, 01:19 PM | "I am sure what ever tricks you are doing can wait. I am trying to find the killer of one of your ...........Um......... workers." Agudo knocks on the door. |
| Serith08-16-03, 09:20 AM | I sigh also. "Like I said, I was asked to look into this death. And we came her to find Lyse, but she's not here. So I guess you can follow me to the next person on my list of people to talk to." With that I head down the hall to the next room on my list. On my way there I notice Agudo talking to the door at Sandra's . With a shrug and a sigh I walk past him, but stop quickly. ""Find out anything yet Agudo? " I glance behind me to see if Fuleald is still following me. If he is I introduce him to Agudo. "This is Agudo the Archmage of Light. Agudo this is.....Well I'll guess he'll have to tell us, I never did ask his name." |
| Agudo Archmage08-16-03, 12:34 PM | Agudo turns to see Serith and is friend. “How do you do, and may the Light guide your actions, from the temptations of this house of ill repute.” Agudo then turns back to the door and looks closely. “Is that Mahogany, or Oak?” |
| Serith08-18-03, 09:28 AM | I scratch at the door with a long fingure nail. "Um....Oak I believe. Yes deffently Oak." I hum to myself as I wait to see if the new guy is going to introduce himself. |
| Agudo Archmage08-18-03, 11:20 AM | ((OOC  OAK)) |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-18-03, 11:42 AM | Seasutuil's player humbly reminds the Master that Urphe still didn't answer him, while pondering what the tail is so funny about oak... |
| archNME08-19-03, 03:50 AM | "Very pleased to meet you, my name is Fuleald Edan, but you can just call me Fuleald... I... er... am an artist and I also have some skills in the... er... divine. But enough chit-chat, you said you were conducting a death investigation, I wouldn't mind to be aquainted with the details and what you have managed to find out so far. I assure you, my interest in this has nothing to do with the, eh, services that this house of delightful pleasures provide." |
| Myranthor08-19-03, 09:09 AM | (sorry Seasutuil. ) "Are you outta your mind?!" she shouted frantically. "Never will I help my condemned sibling. He decided to stay within the unhallowed halls of this cursed temple, and there he shall die. " Urphe's face turned a strange hue of crimson red because of the violence of her last shouts. |
| Serith08-19-03, 09:58 AM | I grin. "Well so far we know that Utia was found hanging from a rope from her room ceiling this morning. It looked like a suicide, but Lyse, the mistress of the House, doesn't beleive so. She thinks that Utia isn't the type to suicide like that. So far we've managed to find out she was liked by the custmors, which made her unliked by many of the other workers. Other then that we know that Agudo here ended up in her room at some point last night but doesn't remeber leaving or where he but his stuff that he was wearing last night." |
| Agudo Archmage08-19-03, 10:29 AM | Agudo leans against the "OAK" door, and thinks about what has been said so far. "Yes its true, I dont know where Lady Hoot my white owl, or my ring and crown." The wizard seems some what unsure of what to do next. "Well the woman in this room wont open up, But it is a lovely shade of Oak on the door, dont you think?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-19-03, 02:40 PM | "Such an action as i have described would easily keep thee from this fate... be thou so consumed by thy anger at her that thou would forfeith the chance to remove its cause? And all thy sufferings alongside?" |
| Bonze08-20-03, 11:17 AM | Back to your cage, I said. |
| Myranthor08-20-03, 11:18 AM | "My sufferings?? What are you speaking of, idiot? It,s okay here. I don't have to explain who I am, I'm not seen oddly because of my different body either. In fact, it is prized among the most exotic pleasures this house can provide. My sister dead, my brother lost forever, my suffering has come to an unexpected end! Why should I be suffering?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-21-03, 04:58 AM | Ugh... Urphe did say: And can you imagine what that bastard, that harlot did? It made nonsese, she lost all consciousness, in the name of the Ma9iden of Pain! She decided to pay back, damn. She wished to let us starve, to make us work here, offer our divine bodies to these awful, common men Oiovoronda takes no offence, and continues in the same mercyfull, sympathyzing and calm tone: "Hast thou not said that bringing thou hence and insisting on this... ocupation was an insolence to thee, when came from Utia?" |
| Myranthor08-21-03, 09:45 AM | "Everything is an insolence if I do not choose it not to be. If one day I wish to invite a man to me bed, to sink my clawed hands in his back, and to let him enjoy the rare opportunity of meeting a creature by far superior to him, he may. The problem was that Utia always tried to push me into getting more money, and thus, more encounters with creatures I wouldn't even deam of in nightmares" she said, shivering. You also hear her, terrified:" halflings...." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-21-03, 10:23 AM | "A surprisingly tempting way to put it, i must admit." exept temptation both carnal and mental ones, to spring into conclusions and blame the poor misleaded devilspawn, i shall doubtfully find much here at this time...unless, ofcourse... "Would though reveal thy offenders' location to me? I swear i shan't bind thee to take thy brother should i pull him away, however the existance of these Lohiiatarans is anathema to me, and i am willing to do much for the opportunity to rid ye land of them. To add, i shall gladly save the right of execution to thee, should thou be interrested in revange." |
| Agudo Archmage08-21-03, 12:30 PM | Agudo grows board by the lovely Oak door, for whom the woman will not open. He ponders some more then walks away, to the kitchen. He sees the fireplace and a empty, and Light willing clean pan. The wizard then takes some eggs opens them, and a dab of butter, and putts them in the pan. “Ahh is I only had some bacon, oh well, at least I have some bread that I brought with me.” The smell goes through out the house of pleasure, of a good home cooked meal. |
| archNME08-21-03, 09:51 PM | Fuleald seemed to be deep with his thoughts after Serith had explained the situation. He suddenly bolts his head upward as if awakaned from a dream. Seeing the impatient wizard go to the kitchen while the younger one standing by the door. "Well, if this is the case with this brothel I presume I... *we* continue the investigation, although with your shaggy appearance I doubt that the girls would be very... ahem... *persuadable*, let me do the asking, and now, let's move to the first witness or suspect or whatever." "Leave the wizard to his own business, I am not a person to disturb a man while he is at the table. " Fuleald than seizes Serith by the hand and chooses one door randomly while opening it. The door was labeled ''Urphe"... "Greetings, citizen, I am conducting a investigation regarding the latest unfortunate yet myssterious death. My official name is Fuleald Edan but you can call me just Fuleald. I am sorry to bring this up to you, as you had probably a very hard day, but still I'll want to ask you a few questions and than I'll leave you, it is a gentlemen's promise. -*wink* To begin with, I want to ask you how did you end up doing your line of work." |
| Agudo Archmage08-21-03, 11:21 PM | As Agudo sits down to the table he sees (Fuleald seize Serith by the hand) “Oh my! Um…. I am sure their just friends? He then shakes his head and starts to eat breakfast. He Open his backpack he takes out some juice, and a fork. |
| Myranthor08-22-03, 09:54 AM | Seasutuil "Vengeance, you say? It would be quite...enlightening, to say the least. Only bring me the worst opf the damned crew, the most evil of all them : my brother. Obviously, you'll recognize him quite easily. Sadly though, I can recall the exact location of this horrible nest of dark acolytes. It is ina n underground passage, hidden deeply under the intricate elven forests of Cormanthor. |
| Myranthor08-22-03, 10:04 AM | Agudo From behind you, you hear a rather loud voice exclaiming : "Heh! What a lovely scent floats in here. Is that your meal, mister?...Hey, I don't know you!" A fat dwarven Lady sat in front of you, her strongly attracting curvers revealed through her tights garments. "You're so lovely, with that little shaggy chin of yours. Tell me, it seems to me I never heard about you, what are you doing here?" |
| Agudo Archmage08-22-03, 01:05 PM | I am Agudo, and I am trying to solve a crime and find my white owl” Agudo takes another bight and drinks the last of his juice. “Oh yes, and my ring and crown.” Agudo says as he smiles at the woman. “Do you know anything about the murder? And just who are you? |
| Myranthor08-22-03, 07:50 PM | "What? You on,t know me. What sin mister, please let me enlighten you. I am Lady Degdra of this exquisite brothel, the dwarven wonder, the only one without a beard in a radius of many many miles. But, did you spoke about a murder? Why do you think it is such an horrible event, mister? I mean, you are probably speaking about what happened to...our departed one, right? I heard she hung up herself.."" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-29-03, 10:47 AM | Seasutuil's face looks like that of a true sharessit {the non-humanoid kind} who had some cream, at the mention of Cormanthor. "Once ye more urgent matter of thy syster's death is handled, I will journey eastwards to my home, in Cormanthor, which i have not seen for over two centuries. I shall be glad to have ye company of the superior being thou art, -" He bows slightly in well-pretended respect to Urphe "- and am ready to pay more than well for thy help in finding these lohhiatarran blasphemists. My offer is to remain unchanged and in force regardless of what i, or any other of us, may discover herein; And be thankfull I shall, for any hints thou will sneak towards me, as to the matter my curiosity is ocupied by." Oiovoronda is about to point out that the sooner he knows whatever there is to know about Utia's death - the sooner they can be on theyr way east, but is then interrupted by the door behind him opening. He turns around, and is about to respond to the bluntly-official speech. Ofcourse the law-sympathizing beureaucratic talk isn't to his liking, but he was always very tolerating to virtually everything, and is used to almost everything. He is thus about to respond peacefully... but then he notices the vestments. And that special gleam in the eye. "An Edbrogan?" The elf's eyes widen slightly in surprise. A rare, if not very impressive sight. "Thaur, sut iir'oio amandilar en'Inaikelea naa e'quena - amandilar en'Edbbrog tula." |
| Undying Pie08-29-03, 12:28 PM | ((Sierth's post...Sorry to lazy to change names around today)) One minute I'm standing next to Agudo the next I'm getting pulled by this frail looking old man to the ladies room that I thought Seasutuil was going to talk to. Before I could say anything, or even regain my feet, Fuleald drags me into the room and blurts out a very impressive little speech. Then to my surprise, Seasutuil starts responding as if he's know Fuleald all his life! I shake my head in confusion as I glance around the room, briefly looking at Urphe as I servay the room. (( Seirth's player just :) 's till she reads the last post then shakes her head in complete confusion  "What room did you drag Seirth to again??? Now I am really confused!" )) |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai08-29-03, 02:51 PM | Seasutuil's player feels highly annoied by the fact that he is not allowed to delete his own posts.:behold: |
| Agudo Archmage08-29-03, 07:24 PM | "Well yes she may have or not, yet we shall look into this death. I for one would like to know more about it. Agudo takes mouth full of eggs and bread and dabs a little salt on the rest. |
| archNME09-02-03, 09:22 PM | "Ahem" Fuleald says, turning to Oiovoronda. "Pardon me, but I am afraid you had me mistaken for someone else, I am nought Edbrogan and neither do I understand that peculiar tongue of yours.I am trying to conduct an investigation regarding a recent death, possibly teaching the youngster behind me a thing or two how to manage a dialog with the opposite sex. Now, if you will excuse us..." And Fuleald shuts the door. He than turns to Lady Degdra, smiling lightly. "Pleased to meet you, lady Dedgra. You heard correctly, the poor girl indeed hang herself for unknown reasons, my goal is make these reasons known. Please, tell me all you know about her, try to remember every detail..." Fulead says, and locks his eyes with Degra's, doing an imaginary artwork for his patron. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai09-03-03, 04:21 AM | {{OOC: NME, you should really start to read more carefully before replying. Degdra is in the kitchen with Agudo. Fuleald is entering Urphe's room, and both Seasutuil and Urphe herself are inside. i repeat: Degdra is not in the same room, because she is in the kitchen with agudo.}} "Ye symbols on thy vestments... along with sertain lines in thy face, both mark thee as a follower, and probably a clerist, of ye Concealed Eye. Was he not called Edbrogg at one time?" The old elf slightly lifts one eyebrow "Yet, if thou wisheth to ignore thy alegiance for the sake of efficiency, so be it." Having said that he extends a hand for shaking and bows slightly "For i am seeking to know more of lady Utia's death as well.", he adds. |
| Agudo Archmage09-03-03, 12:30 PM | The wizard stands up and at the same time, picks up his dirty dish and cup. "Let it not be said that Agudo left a mess behind." He starts to wash both items, in the washbowl. He then hand dryes them and puts the cup and plate, back where he found them. "Good day to you kind lady" Agudo walks out into the hallway, and sees a door that he has yet to go into. He knocks on the door but gets no answer. "Well I am not the thieving type, but, I have learnd a trick or two in my adventuring days." He beends down and takes out a small metal pin, from his pocket. "Just a turn here and a turn there....and....Nothing! I guess this is why I am not a thief." He then stands up and gets an idea, Agudo grabs the handle and turns it. "How embarrassing, it wasnt even locked." Agudo opens the door slowly and he sees? ((Big DM moment here)) |
| Myranthor09-04-03, 06:59 AM | Pushing the door, Agudo revealed the modest room, hidden by the wooden panel, on which was furiously writen, if not clawed, the lovely name "Tyrra". A small room, like most of those in the now familiar brothel, awaited the Archmage of the Light. A small bed, with a mattress made of swan's feather, was covered with unordered blankets, made of simple furs. A simple table, on which laid a few make-up and hair keeping devices, laid along the wall. However, it was not the most interesting feature one could find in this room. As soon as Agudo entered, he was schocked to discover, on a wall of the bedroom, a gigantic mirror, as tall as an overgrown man. This mirror, for the time being, didn't rflect any image. In it drifted clouds of crimson colors, preventing the observant from distinguishing anything but strange forms behind the polished glass. |
| Agudo Archmage09-04-03, 11:41 AM | "A mirror? How odd, why does it not show me myself." Agudo walks closer and thinks for a moment. "Maybe a a revelation mirror, or something close to it." The wizard starts to say some basic magic words trying to get it to work. He also looks for knobs on the frame to see if that helps. |
| Myranthor09-05-03, 06:51 PM | After a few spells and observations, you notice that the mirror is indeed a magical device. However, it is not meant for divination spells. |
| Agudo Archmage09-05-03, 11:33 PM | Agudo sits down on thin air, to think for a moment "Let me see, what has this to do with anything? It seems to be magical, but what?" Agudo looks for anything, like a button or knob to make the thing work. "Could it be a magical word?" |
| Ramoth09-16-03, 10:04 AM | I shake my head as the two older men continue to argue. |
| Gene_Kynes09-21-03, 02:33 PM | The crimson-cloaked man slowly, silently, but surely made his way towards the brothel. The only features visible on the man were his calm, bluish-green eyes, olive skin, and well-kept brown hair, along with a face that helped him do more convincing than any of his concealed blades could. He is blocked by the guards, and in response..gives a small smile. "Hello...gentlemen. I trust the fine lady of this establishment told you I was coming? I'm here to assist with the...murder mystery...and turn in into a fact, rather than a question." |
| kulideb09-30-03, 05:37 AM | A small elf maiden wacthed as the gaurds on the door talked to a man with a crimson cloak, while they were busy she crept in to the hotel. How could her brother have sunk so low as to use this sort of place! She tried to stay hidden, there seemed to be a lot of people about, all talk no action typical of males! She caught snippets of their conversations, some thing about a murder. Her heart sank as she thought of her brother, but no it was one of the girls who worked here not a customer. She wacthed as, no it couldnt be... Archmage Agudo here! and he seemed to be letting himself into a locked room and she had thought him such a nice man and he ran a school! |
| Agudo Archmage09-30-03, 01:22 PM | Agudo tried to get the mirror thing working, but saw that it was growing late. So he went to find the others as he did so he saw one of his new students. ”Why Kulideb! What are you doing here?……..Don’t tell me your seeking to raise coin….in….in…this place are you?….I hope you know, that my school is free…you don’t have to pay to go there.” |
| kulideb09-30-03, 04:30 PM | Kulideb went bright red, first at seeing Agundo here and for what he thought of her! "No..I thought thats why you were here... no I mean not to work.. of course not.. well not like that." she gave a big sigh. "I mean I'm not working here, I'm looking for some one who knew my brother. I didnt expect to walk into the middle of some thing like this. Have they any ideas why such a thing would happen? Can I be of any help, perhaps the girls would talk to another girl, do you think its worth a try?" |
| Agudo Archmage09-30-03, 04:53 PM | Agudo Scratched his head, and then laughed as he tilted his head to look at the young girl. He then smiled at Kulideb and spoke warmly to her. “Me!…Noooo..no…, not me” He chuckled “ I happily married man, to a lovely Elvin woman named Aerie. I even have several children by her…and …and …” Agudo stopped talking as he thought for a moment. “You do believe me Kulideb? I would never…. I was with Lady Hoot” Agudo coughed. The Archmage seem to become more uncomfortable as he realized how this all must look. “My friend and wise white owl, Lady Hoot….Just ask anyone…I am a respect pillar of the community. We were traveling and need a place to sleep for the night. I for got to put on my spectacles; and didn’t read the sign right.” Agudo through up his hands in exasperation. “I would have sworn this was an inn” For a young looking mage, he acted like a befuddled old one. Finally Agudo just waves his hand “Forget it! I am trying to solve a murder now and YES! You can be of grate help. Now lets go find the others.” |
| kulideb09-30-03, 06:03 PM | Kulideb blushed as Agundo seemed to dig himself in to the same hole she had! She smiled at and tried to put him at ease,(he didnt look old enough to have a few children, one or two may be...) "Where is Lady Hoot?" she asked looking around.:) |
| Myranthor09-30-03, 06:49 PM | !A young lady, whose dark hairs fell graciously upon her white soulders, appeared from behind Agudo. Silencious, she approached the old archmage, and suddenly embraced his old neck through her young arms. "Oh Master Agudo, " did Larasay, "I am so happy to find you still in this morning. I, for some time, was scared that you may have elft me here instead of bringing me back with you. Don't leave without me, please. I must tell you : the night spent together, in the bathing room, was one of the most fantastic night I ever lived with a man." (OOC:Yes, the thread will be revived, thanks to this fantastic opportunity of laughing of Agudo's mishaps once again :smirk: !) "What? No, we never heard about such thing", said the guard to the crimson-cloaked newcomer. "I guess you'll have to .." "Hep! Wait! He can't know all of what he knows without his sayings being true!" snapped his armored partner. "But she never told us about a new man. " "Still, she never left the brothel, you know it. She must have... magical powers, to communicate so easily with outsiders. " "Then, we should really let him in, no?" "Indeed." "Shouldn't we accompany him and watch him?" "You know the brothel's mistress does not like us to turn around her pupils. D'you want to anger a magic, fire-wielding sorceress, buddy?" "No, buddy." The entrance to the brothel laid wide open in front of the rogue, surprised at the fear he managed to induce in these two cowards. |
| Gene_Kynes09-30-03, 07:32 PM | Rolling with the outcome, Darvin nods. "Wise desicion. Thank you." He then heads in...and...wanders around, looking for...anybody of interest. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai09-30-03, 08:18 PM | Oiovoronda realizes, after a prolonged silence, that he has left his religeous opponent with nothing to say. Forgetting he still had something to add to the conversation with Utia, he only bows to her, and smoothly steps out of the room, throwing a glance at Serith, hinting him to follow. The elf silently passes the brothel's interior over again, hoping for his attention to be drawn to something. Both intuitively and logically, Seasutuil knew that something must be ocuring these moments in one of the rooms, and he expected to run into something interrsting and usefull "by chance", or by Sharess' will, which means almost the same. |
| Agudo Archmage09-30-03, 10:56 PM | As the {lady of the evening} reminds Agudo, at the most impromptu moment, that he had taken a bath, while others were behind a partition shade. The Archmage of Light turns red faced and quickly removes her arms. “Miss!…um what was your name?….Anyway, I don’t know that I would say it like that! You seem so shy and nice then…and…and.. I thought you were a respectable inn worker. Not…a…well…a…. prostitute!” Agudo looks to Kulideb for help then realizes that’s not going to work. “Honestly I don’t know what my wife will think” the mage slaps his forehead in exasperation. “If Lady Hoot was here she could explain this little mix up” He then looks back at the prostitute, “ I am trying to solve a murder here, that makes me look very guilty….well um…do to the blood found …on my cloths….and…BLAST!” With that Agudo marched on to find the others, in a huff. |
| kulideb10-01-03, 07:47 AM | Kulideb watched in amazement as one of the ladies flung her self at the Archmage and declared it was the best night of her life! (well, may be some males managed to put words and actions together!) She was just about to tell the Archmage that she wouldnt tell any one at the school, after all if his wife was busy with lots of children (could also explain the lots of children!, she thought she had better train her thoughts else were before she blushed again!) by the time she had thought all this all she saw was him walk off in a huff! ( must have lots of energy.. bad thoughts go away!) Kulideb smiled at Larasay, she wasnt sure weather to ask her some questions (fear of bad thoughts!) or to knock on one of the other doors.. |
| Serith10-01-03, 10:52 AM | I shrug, then follow Seasutuil out of the room. Since we don't seem to be in a hurry, I glazes in some of the rooms as we pass, well the ones with open doors anyways. I hear a comotion up ahead...then see Agudo all huffed up walk right passed us! |
| kulideb10-01-03, 11:08 AM | Behind Larasay she could see some one else, she hoped he was investigating the murder and not a suspect, but then any one was really a suspect and after all the Archmage had surprised her, may be this chap (?) would be prepared to compare notes. |
| Agudo Archmage10-01-03, 12:47 PM | As Agudo is walking he sees that Kulideb is still near the lustfull woman. He rolls his eyes and returns to his student. "Miss Kulideb, I know you want to help, but this one Larasay, has had to much to drink or something?" The mage gives a funny look to the prostitute and shakes his head at her. "Really! I dont know how could say I was the best time of your life, all it was ....well!..A Bath!....and you were not even in the bath!...and didnt get wet!...At least not until I sliped on the soap...and you fell with me...and...BLAST!....The piont being..." He turns and says the rest to Kulideb. "That this woman had her cloths on!....AT ALL TIMES!" Agudo calms down but little red faced. "I have never been soooo" He blushes. "Lets just say if I had known this woman was not a bathing attendant, instead of a well...you know...I would have never gotten naked in the first place. " He wasnt sure if that help Kulideb understand that nothing happen or if it just add more smoke to the fire. Agudo then sees Serith,"Lets join the others Kulideb and see if we can solve this murder. As far as talking to the...the girls of this place. Lets find one thats not so drunk...and graby!" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-01-03, 01:04 PM | The elf stops as Agudo passes by Serith and him. "Any new progress, Archimagus?" he asks, then notices the younger elven lady. He bows to her slightly. "And may i know thy name, oh maiden? I asume thou art not of this festhall's residents, yet perhaps some of what ocured here has been reveled to thee?" |
| kulideb10-01-03, 03:59 PM | She was quite pleased that the Archmage, had come back as the lady didnt really seem to be in a fit state to talk to. Poor Agudo, how could she have thought he would be like that, any way he was such a nice man that he must have lots of female students throwing them selves at him. She agrees that it would be wise to find some one else to talk to, just then a fellow elf steped out, now it was her turn to blush again as he thought she might work here. "Oh, no, we were just going to find some of the others, it might do to see who knows what already and what the next step should be, so far all I seem to do is go red!" then she blushed again as she remembered her Manners. " My name dear Sir is Kulideb." she smiled and clasped her hands behind her back, (really she said to her self now is not the time to try to impress any one...even if he did seem like a very nice felow.) |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-01-03, 07:17 PM | Oiovoronda leans in a bow to kiss the lady's hand. "I am Seasutuil Oiovoronda, a Seeker of Fullflillment, and a preecher of Sharess' faith. So dost thou know nothing of this situation as yet?" His voice is smooth and soft enough to calm a Beast of Malar, while his smile, as he leans towards her hand, is intriguing enough to render an entire monastery into urgent need of repentance. |
| Agudo Archmage10-01-03, 07:34 PM | As Oiovoronda smothers his student with his Dawn Juan charms, Agudo once again rolls his eyes. The Archmage of Light taps the smooth talker on the shoulder. “Yes, yes Mr. fruite lips! We all know about your religion of erotic passion and no morality. But Kulideb is a young vitreous woman, who should not be tricked by seductive talk. Now back to the murder, what have you come up with?” With out waiting Agudo went into his own investigation. “I have found a strange mirror in the other room back there. It definitely magical, yet for some reason I cant get it to work. Then there is the prostitute back there….Um… Oh yes!… Larasay. She seems to be drunk or something, were before she was a shy and kind girl trapped in this way of life.” He then waits for Oiovoronda to tell him his discovery. |
| kulideb10-02-03, 04:47 AM | Oh what a charming elf, Agudo's coment brought her out of her daze, did he say Erotic Passion, part of her wanted to know more while the other was mortified, and she was sure she was blushing. "Oh..um.. yes Seasutuil, (such a nice name!) I do know whats being happening here... well I mean not who the murderer is (great now hes going to think I'm a fool gabbing on) I mean about what..."she remembered Agudo saying some thing about a mirror, "err.. perhapse we had better go look at the mirror the Archmage has found." She did wonder about the drunken lady her self, guilty mind, hidding some thing or had some one done some thing so they couldnt get any sence out of her, Agudo was waiting for Seasutuil to tell him some thing she hoped it was a clue he had found and not to compare notes on erotic passion.. Agudo did seem to want to distance himself from the lady of the night! She looked over at the Archmage and hoped he couldnt read mind.:D |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-05-03, 06:43 AM | Seasutuil turns towards Agudo, his left eybrow slightly raised. "Erotic passion is but one form of pleasure and fullfillment, whereas the faith of Bast & Zandillar revereth them all. Perhaps it is a hidden fear of this particular aspect, rooting in thy utter youth, that keeps thee from seeing ye wider perspective, sans all its facets..." Oiovoronda pauses, as if to allow the human's mind time to fully settle with his words, then steps a bit backwards, in order to face both the human and Kulideb, and continues, addressing both of them. "I have speculations, yet these are antagonic and unripe; thus i shall keep them within my heart for now. Meanwhile, I shall be glad to inspect this arcane mirror of thyne, Agudo. Will thou join us, my lady?" The question was ofcourse directed at Kulideb, and with it he extended his arm, with this elegant gesture offering to lead her by the elbow. The archmage, in Seasutuil's perception, appeared unfitting to the scene for quite a while by now. His periods of passing out could hardly be justified by mundane weakness {humans are far from being too gentle to handle minor traumae}, and he seemed nervous, reluctant, and generally disturbed. A quick run through his thoughts and memories was clearly caled for, and Oiovoronda was about to do so - thin, hardly noticable fur, now pertruding from the skin on his hands and forehead, was an obvious evidence to the upcomming manifestation, to anyone wo knew him - but immidiately he realizd that Agudo could very well be protected from such banal attempts. Besides, such an action from the elf's side would be rather predictable, and acting predictably, as he learned, is {additionally to being boring and tasteless} a powerfull shortcut towards falure. Turning to follow the Archmage towards the mirror, Seasutuil redirected his upcomming manifestation, and instead of spectating Agudo's thoughts, he sent one of his own into Kulideb's mind. Within her head she heard a smooth, almost feline voice: ~~Carad naa vanima, arwenamin... |
| Agudo Archmage10-05-03, 09:16 AM | It was the fornicator’s redundant, and somewhat winded way of saying things that seem to annoy Agudo the most. As if Seasutuil liked hearing the sound of his voice, or something. But as Agudo turned into the room, he quickly focused on the task at hand. “As you can see everyone, this is the rather overly large mirror I spoke of. It radiates some magical power, and yes, I have tried the basic spells that would normally cause a reaction. I have even looked for knobs and switches, yet as of this moment nothing.” The mage turned to the others “Kulideb, Seasutuil, what are any of your thoughts about it. |
| Serith10-05-03, 12:47 PM | After watching Seasutuil charm the lady elf whom interduced herself as kulideb and then get a slitght arguement with Agudo, I find myself alone in the hallway again. Shrugging my shoulders I turn my attention to Larasay. Just as I was about to say something to her I notice another person has entired the building. He seems to be kind of lost, so I wait till he notices me..... |
| kulideb10-05-03, 02:23 PM | Kulideb allowed seasutuil to guide her into the room, she heard faint words purr in her mind, she looked around, but Agudo was talking about the mirror. Serith seemed to start to follow them then stop. Kulideb followed his gaze to some who has just entered. Her mind wondered back to the words she had heard in her head, and she felt her self shiver.. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-05-03, 06:11 PM | After arriving at the room holding the mirror, Seasutuil nods to Agudo, and sits down on the floor infront of it. He takes off his backpack, produces a brazier out of it, and the latter is lighted by itself as soon as he opens it. He stations the brazier betuin himself and the mirror, and with a short gesture, his robes fall off, exposing him from the belt up. He closes his eyes, and holds his palms one against the other. His torso begins to move in a snakelike {or tale-like?} way, as he chants in a languege that sounds like elven, but doesn't seem to havea single elven word. A schollar or priest, with some effort, could recognize it as Celestial, but with heavy elven accent. During the chanting, a sweet, irresistable smell appears in the air around him. After a minute of chanting, he opens his palms, putting one at his heart, and the other at the mirror, then turning his face upwards, eyes still closed, closing his hands, and opening them again, but extended upwards. He awaits responce from the Mother of Cats, as the smell slowly begins to vanish. |
| Myranthor10-05-03, 10:00 PM | The red, chaotic masses swirling in the mirror glowed brightly under the influence of Seasutuil's powers, and then fainted. The crimson mists opened, revealing behind them a maiden of insurpassable beauty, a nymph bearing the holy symbol of the Sharessites. Her pulpous lips opened, opening an escape way for the chant she held prisoner within her scluptural body. This chant, even though it could be heard that all those present, only carried meaning for the priest. " Seasutuil Oiovondara, Herald of the lady of fulfillment, be praised for your boldness, and your endless trust in our Lady. This device, the one you are currently inspecting, is a portal, apt to bring any of you to another realm of existence, at your own risk. Myself, I would be loath to do so, and thus I ask you to be considerate in your actions. Farewell, Pleasure-seeker." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-06-03, 06:48 AM | The elf remains with his eyes shut for a little longer than needed. It took him a while to operate the information. The first, obvious flash of intuition, told him that this is a gateway back to Dyverspace... perhaps a test, meaning that for some reason, he must prove his faithfullness by returning to the Dyverside without visiting his old home in eastern Cormanthor. Well, ofcourse, he has an unfinished matter on Everkec - the batle was not yet finished. If it is so, he should praise Sharess for the pleasure to see Toril again, but not abuse her benevolence... Then again, all this assumption is, in a way, an expected one; and expected things seldom ocure. If Seasutuils were a Width-messanger of the Sewrneoughmix, he would believe that if the portal doesn't lead him home, to Everkec, then he is bound to eventually find a way back here, to this very place... but Seasutuil was a sharessit, not a sewrneoughmix. Oiovoronda snaps out of his contemplations, says a quick prayer of gratitude to his playfull mistress, and opens his eyes. He puts back on his robes, and stands up smoothly, looking at Kulideb and Agudo with shining eyes, for no matter how far away from Cormanthor this may take him, it is still a promiss of new and exciting experience, new and exciting realizations and knowlege. "I know not how this gate came to be here... tis a portal, leading to either another world, or unto another plane of existance. Should it be the former, i would assume it a manifestation of the Rainbowsdoor, bridging betuin Realmspace and Dyverspace, Abier-Toril to the Dyverside, yet it is bbut a speculation... If the latter, then it is hard to say. By the appearance of this gate, i may assume the Outlands are its destination." He looks at his two companions, watching any changes in theyr facial expressions, then adds: "In truth, i am more curious regarding the reasons for this portal being here, than i am regarding its destination." |
| kulideb10-06-03, 09:57 AM | Kulideb watched as Seasutuil sat down in front of the mirror and unpack a brazier, it sprung to life by its self. "Oh, what a nice body" she thought as his robe fell open (but only the top half, well some things must remain a mystery!) He began to sway, it had an almost hypnotic efect on her, his words came out, they were not elven but the accent was still there. The air filled with a faint sweet smell, the mirror responded to him, some thing that only he was attuned to. When at last he spoke to them it was to tell them that it was a portal. "do we known who this room belongs to?" She looked around to see if the door had a name on it..." While doing so she had a question for Seasutuil. "how did you know that it would respond to you?" |
| Agudo Archmage10-06-03, 10:02 AM | ((OOC Well good! That you’re a Seasutuil and not a sewrneoughmix. Because we hates those stinking dirty sewrneoughmix and we will throw them out of this brothel!….Joke))  It was an opportunity for Agudo to make notes in his history book, on how others would try to get it to work. Seasutuil taking off his cloths was some how not surprising. Even if it was only showing him bare from the waste up. Agudo had his suspicion that it wasn’t even part of the ritual. Seasutuil just did it as part of his brash personality. But the wizard was a researcher, and would not comment until after the attempt. As Seasutuil sat with brazier and started his chants, Agudo recognized the celestial language, do to his many years of becoming an Archmage of Light and was impressed by this Elf’s education. Then the mirror lit up, and the vortex like gases moved with a hypnoticall flow. It seem to disturb Seasutuil, he was mumbling about unfinished business. After a quick explanation to Agudo and Kulideb he seem torn on what to do. Agudo put away his book and nodded his head. “I can see your point, and there is possibilities of where this goes. Yet until we have proof the murderer went through here; I believe we should not attempt to use such a rare, and powerful device. For who ever put it here, was no ordinary wizard or cleric. There maybe no more than a dozen of these things on the whole planet….and yet here of all places a prostitutes home” Agudo snapped his fingers with a thought and he looked to Kulideb and Seasutuil “ We should talk with the head mistress of this pleasure house; about this thing. Don’t you all agree?” |
| kulideb10-06-03, 10:15 AM | "That would be a wise thing to do and I guess if some one wanted to hide the mirror this is the best place. With people coming and going all the time, no one would notice a stranger. I wonder if the girls had regular cus.. guests.?" |
| Serith10-06-03, 10:59 AM | I sighed and gave up waiting for this new comer to catch up. Turning to the room the others had entered and entering to hear Kulideb's question, I pause. Then I look at the group and say "I'd suggest looking for the mistress of the house, if she was here. I went in search of her a short while ago and she wasn't anywhere to be found." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-06-03, 11:44 AM | {{OOC: :D That's not what you said back at the "Shhilon's Paw" in the sewrneoughmix fortress!:behold:}} Seasutuil responds first to Kulideb's question, guided by the "Ladies first" idea more than by the fact of his person posing a greate annoyance to Agudo. He looks directly in her eyes, his facial expression somehow both serious and playfull, as he speaks to her: "The Feline of Felicity is both wise and benevolent; She saw our desire to do good, through ye effort to solve this enigma of Utia's death, and t'was in my hopes, that she would agree to grant us this insight. This place is of interrest to her, and so is ye entire matter we are exploring. Pleasure should be mutual at all times, and wherever one's pleasure comes in the cost of another's suffering or oppression, the Tawny Temptress sees anathema, and wills to aid any who would return justice to such a place, having wanderd therein in theyr curiosity... No'til thar-quanta, rilma isilme en'weneselle sila tirinin." He smiles, and then turns to Agudo: "Thy suggestion is indeed ye best cours of action. Let us, however, send but two of us after her, while the other two shall stay herein, making sure none other nears the mirror. Ye human we may asume is in pretence to being hired by her, as well as any of the courtesans hender, could be involved." Following that, Oiovoronda tries to slightly bend the moods of Serith and Agudo towards volunteering for the job of finding the mistress. He sends only a light impulse, making sure he doesn't reveal himself to theyr own minds in the process. The light fur springing on his hands is {as if by chance} hidden by his robes, whereas the forehead remains "clear" - the trick he used is too short for a full-scale manifestation. |
| kulideb10-06-03, 02:18 PM | "If you dont mind I'll stay here, the girls dont seem that chatty with me." she turns her gaze back to the mirror... |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-07-03, 06:40 PM | Seasutuil speaks with the slightlest, most hardly noticable hint of sarcasm. Mostly his voice is soft and amiable. "Ye most widely-respected amongst us has made it clear, that my demanor within this place is something he trusts not; Thus i belive all of us will rather have me stay as well. However, if others hold a different point of vew, and would have me search for the Patroness, i shan't object, of course." |
| Serith10-07-03, 06:55 PM | I repress a chuckle as I listen to Seasutuil and Agudo banter back and forth. Then I decide to speak up again, though no one has listened to me thus far. "Personaly I think Seasutuil and Agudo should go. But thats just me. I'll gladly sit and watch this mirror with the Elf Maidian." I lean up against the door while looking at the group gathered within. |
| Agudo Archmage10-07-03, 11:10 PM | ((OOC its been long time since I read your name Serith, hope that’s not just an avatar name. If it’s different from that Ill change the post.)) “Yes well, um” Agudo doesn’t like the odds on this. “Well the obvious answer would be for I to stay, and for Seasutuil and Serith, to go and find the mother of this din of iniquity.” Agudo then turns to his student. “Yet Kulideb you are a grown woman, and I trust in your virtue; and that you would hold up the honor of the school, while alone with these…gentlemen.” Agudo frowns as he says the last part, as he looks at Seasutuil “Never the less according to Serith, she the “din mother” inst around. The question is did anyone see her leave?” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-08-03, 03:07 AM | "Fmm, nay. I hoped to find her, when i carried thy limp body from ye room where thou fainted; by that time she was already gone, i fear." |
| kulideb10-08-03, 03:58 AM | Kulideb stood and waited for them to sort out who was doing what, and thought to her self when havent I been full of virtue! |
| Myranthor10-10-03, 09:40 AM | When she went outside, looking on the door to see if it had a name written on it, Kulideb discovered that her assumptions were true. On the wood was written, with elegance, the short name "Tyrra". The writings, altough being crafter with grace, also had an extraordinarily exotic tough to them, offering the elf strange feelings, both of lust and fear. A lovely half-elf, her lively eyes searching frantically under her radious red hair, noticed your presence in Tyrra's room. Her mouth widely opened under the surprise and, terrified, she walked away to the headmistress' room. |
| Agudo Archmage10-10-03, 02:11 PM | Agudo frowns at the mention of his fainting. “Yes well, um yes that may be true, but we have run out of ideas, on what and where to look. Kulideb…Kuli?” Agudo looks around “Now where did she go?” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-10-03, 02:39 PM | As always, Seasutuil's desicion of the best-suiting course of action comes instantly. "Serith, Arkanist, - remain!" Having whispered that, he darts out of the room, following the suspicious halfelf {and presumably, Kulideb} into the room she enters. |
| kulideb10-10-03, 04:51 PM | While the other sorted things out, Kulideb went to have a look at the name on the door. "Tyrra." she said even just saying the name brought feelings of fear and of exitment. She reached up her hand to touch the name plate, when she spoted another elf, no a halfelf. Looking back at the others she was about to say some thing but they didnt seem to be paying her any attention so she turned and followed the red headed half elf. The half elf had seemed scarred, as Kulideb followed her she noticed they were heading towards the headmistress room... she walked a little quicker to try to catch up. Kulideb carefully steped into the headmistress room..... |
| Myranthor10-11-03, 09:12 AM | The half-elf, now walking at a steedy pace, arrived in the headmistress' room. However, even before the idea of following her inside strikes the pair, the red haired w0oman turns around, pretty surprised to discover Kulideb in front of her. "By Firehair, what are you doing here, my poor child. Why where you in that....that room?" |
| Agudo Archmage10-11-03, 09:50 AM | The mage rubes is short blond beard, just after Seasutuil's (delusion of grander) “imagine commanding us to stay” he says to Serith. "Well now that he has his ego in full force, let us take some air out and follow" And so Agudo takes off after Seasutuil's and Kulideb |
| kulideb10-11-03, 11:44 AM | "Oh, Hello..I'm sorry to walk in on you, the door was open to the other room"(well, it was after the Archmage had done some thing to open it! she thought!) "We were just coming to find you, who is Tyrra?" She began to think that may be she should have had one of the others with her. "Perhapse, I should call to the others." she turend around and started to shout out.... |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-11-03, 12:41 PM | As Kulideb turned around, shouting was somewhat inadequate, since she stumbled with ehr face into Seasutuil's tunic. He lays his hands on her shoulders to help her relax. "I am here, arwenamin Kulideb, thy teacher guards the portal." He then looks at the one they followed "My lady, would thou so please to show us to this festhall's patroness, to the resident of this room? I shall be glad to speak to thee on later, yet now we are anxious to see her, and would both be thankfull for thy help." |
| Myranthor10-11-03, 01:31 PM | "The patronness is away. I think she went to the governmental district, she had a few things to sign, and had to testify about this horrible event. You don't know who Tyrra is? What a relief, by the goddess." she said smiling, a terrible weight apparently being lifted from her shoulders. However, she fastly regained a darker, angrier expression. "Wait a minute...If you don't know her, what were you doing in her room?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-11-03, 06:04 PM | "We are exploring Utia's deaprture, and are thus free to look throughout ye festhall. What is thy name? Could thou tell us more of Utia, of Tyrra, and of anything else that could be related to this grief-calling event?" While saying that, even more slowly than he usually speaks, Seasutuil mentally plaies with the girl's ide: any conceously uttered lye from her will now result in certain... purely feminine effects, which include, although pleasant, hard blushing and slight shuddering. |
| kulideb10-13-03, 11:54 AM | Kulideb was glad that Seasutuil had followed her in. She stood still and listerned to the red headed elf girl talk. She took out a list from her pocket and looked at the nine names on it. "It would help us a lot to know your name my lady, and any information on Tyrra would be useful."She smiled at the half elf, although some thing about just saying Tyrras name made her feel strange. She woundered if Seasutuil had sensed any thing. |
| Myranthor10-13-03, 01:50 PM | Alone in Tyrra's room, Serith contemplates the portal, now free of Sharess' divine influence. As he wonders what treasures may be hidden behind this strange door, he has the impression that there are some shadows approaching through the mists. He frowns, and takes a few steps back. A fine hand breaks the surface of the mirror, gliding through it effortlesly. Then, a whole arm appears, a black-haired, elegant head, and a marvelous body. Having entered in the room completely, the lady looks at Serith, amused. She pronunces a few strange words, yet is never distracted from the man in front of her. The portal, precedently a swirling, chaotic mass of cloud, is now a normal mirror. "Yes, beautiful man? What can I do for you?" she asked in a soft tone. |
| Serith10-13-03, 05:59 PM | I stood in the room that the others had so recently vacated, unable to bring myself to leave it. I watch the mirror, and suddenly it seems like the mirror is watching me. Then I step back with alarm as a woman steps through the mirror. Then she talks to me, and shocked I find nothing to say. Finally gathering my wits about me, and finally stop stareing at the beuty of the woman, I answer "I am here with some others, investagating the death of a female named Utia. Would you have any information on that?" I smile as charmingly as possible at the woman, but for some odd reason I don't even seem to be curiouse as to how she got there. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-15-03, 04:16 PM | Seasutuil concludes that Kulideb was probably speaking sencerely, when she said the girls are reluctant to converse with her in this place. After running his eyes around the room for a while, examining it, he returns his gaze directly into the lady's eyes. "We would, as my friend and i both said, be greatefull, for anything thou willeth to tell us of Utia and Tyrra. I am Seasutuil Oiovoronda of... Cormanthor, a loyal servitor of Cathatara Sharess Rwaeler. May i be let into ye secret of thy own name?" While he awaits the girl's responce, Seasutuil recalls Serith's list: Lyse (patronness) Lucy (eldest) Urphe (Utia's sister) Tyrra Bushi (sune's follower) Sandra (elven maiden) Degdra (dwarf) Tulma Lara He remembers speaking to Urphe, and probably gaining a companion for a potential crussade; He remembers speaking to Sandra along with the others; He remembers Lara has been involved in some way with the human arkanist, and his reluctancy to aid the investigation actively did make him look forward to speak with her later. He also remembers his entry being followed by a conversation with Lyse and Lucy. The one infront of him, unless she isn't one of the members at all, must either be Bushi or Tulma. Or Tyrra herself, for some reason wishing to obscure her identity, or win time. By any way, this leaves four more women for him to inspect afterwards {Lara, Degdra, and the two women which this one is not}. |
| Myranthor10-15-03, 06:16 PM | Serith: The woman smiled charmingly at Serith, playing with her dark, curly hairs. "Yes, I know about this awful story. I do not like to know of things like that, though, and thus I mostly keep away from all these news. I personnally prefer to think Utia just left us forever. It's less painful this way, don't you think?" The others : She smiles twice : once at the mention of sharess, and a second time when Seasutuil asked her to reveal the secret of her name. She opened her soft lips: "My name's Bushi. I am serving Lady Firehair, and am thus pleased to meet a followed of Sharess. I could speak to you of Utia's fate, altough here might not be the best place to speak. " |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-15-03, 06:36 PM | "Why not here, dear half-sister? Should ye patroness return, shall she not come hence? Pray tell us of both Tyrra and Utia... yet one of us better see how the two humans fare. Lady Kulideb, will thou rather stay and speak to Bushi while i pay them a visit, or do it thyself while i listen to our sunite's words?" |
| Agudo Archmage10-16-03, 01:56 AM | http://www.members.shaw.ca/gordquigley/pictures/portlongagudo.gif (Copyright G. Quigley) Agudo stands outside listening, not wanting to interrupt the questioning. He considers the possibilities, as he thinks about has been said by the others. |
| kulideb10-17-03, 04:55 AM | kulideb looks at Seasutuil and the half elf, she thinks that he would be more likely to get information out of her. "I'll go back to the others." With that she left the room and almost walked straight into the Archmage. |
| Agudo Archmage10-17-03, 11:54 AM | Agudo jumps a little as Kulideb pops out "Oh my! There you are Kulideb, so glad you where able to talk with that....um well, lady of the ill morals. Maybe its time to check back with Serith and see if ihe s ok.' With that said Agudo heads back to the room, and just before he gets there, voices can be heard. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-17-03, 02:53 PM | While Kulideb and her teacher are checking on the mirror, Seasutuil waits to hear whatever Bushi would tell him. He idly remembers, that the Court Lasion, with whom he had a small... adventure over half a milenium ago, had a doughter who belonged to Sune's clergy. The facial features do contain some similarity, and he ponders wether she could be that doughter, or even granddoughter... Little does the elf know, that he is in an era way later than the one during which he left Realmspace. |
| Myranthor10-17-03, 06:32 PM | Seasutuil: Bushi, a little intimidatd by the elf's penetrant gaze, is nervously playing with a few of her rebel hair. "Well, I already told you I do not want to speak here. The matters I want to share with you require secrecy, and this place is no place to endanger my...survivance potential." The others : The woman looked at Serith, a playful smile dancing on her curved lips. "Your silence is meaningful, my dear. You neer thought about it, did you? You seem like a sharp-witted man, uised to the harsh difficulties of having a complex mind. I guess you never enjoyed the proverb that says that "ignorance is bliss", did you?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-17-03, 08:05 PM | "If thou insisteth... then Fullfillment shall follow Beauty. Lead ye way, dear half-syster." |
| Serith10-18-03, 10:03 AM | Finally breaking my silence as I look at the woman. "Prehaps you are right, it is easier to ignore trouble's that do not concern you. But then again, others a troubled by the fact that something like this could happen in their own home. But enough of troubling matters that seem not to concern you. May I have the honor of learning your name? " My eyes do a strange color change, they where blue when I entered the room, but now they are a mix of blue and green. |
| kulideb10-19-03, 06:56 AM | Kulideb headed back to the room with the mirror. She could hear voices coming from inside the it. She stepped through the doorway and looked at Serith and the woman smiling at him. "ahem..Serith who is your lady friend?" She wondered if this could be Tyrra, remembering the feeling she got from the name plate, it was a good job they had come back and not left Serith alone. |
| Agudo Archmage10-19-03, 07:54 AM | ((OOC Yes lucky Serith! Not to be left alone with a beautiful woman!)) Agudo was walking close behind his student and now fellow detective Kulideb. He was rather surprised to find Serith with a lady that Agudo had not seen before. “Yes well, it does seem fortunate that we have returned. I take it you have found out some more information Serith?” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-19-03, 07:52 PM | Oiovoronda is still waiting for his "new friend" to lead him to a palce where she would be willing to speak to him... |
| Myranthor10-24-03, 09:32 AM | "Is not my name written on my door?" she answered Serith, a playful flame lurking in her black eyes. Then, upon hearing Agudo's question, she turns toward him: "Still not, aside from my name, if you think it is an extremely valuable information. However, you may all be at ease, I have much time for you." SEASUTUIL Fastly, Bushi led you to her room, closing the wooden door behind both of you. "Now, before I opy mouth and start speaking, I want to know about your motives. Why are you so curious about Tyrra? Why is nopt she like every other girl in this establishment for you?" |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai10-24-03, 10:07 AM | "Curiosity is my trade, my dear. As to Tyrra's difference from ye others, i have noticed an unnatural reaction to the sound of her name from both male humans that accompanied us, althought they knew her not. I doubt that even a nymph could provoke such reaction. Besides, it was sheerrly obvious, from thy own reaction, that ye true wish of thyne is to be asked of her..." While giving an answer longer than the situation requires, Seasutuil uses the extra time to scan the room, enhancing his own eyesight and scent with powers of his mind. |
